I took my wife for a nice dinner to this place. We have tried pretty much every good restaurant in Cincinnati and wanted something different. We both were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant feels cozy and the food is top notch. The Foie Gras is a great appetizer to share and out of this world. The portions are not huge but just about right. The waiter knew his trade and was a great help explaining and choosing the best option. We also ordered a bottle of Rose which was delicious and not overprized. I will definitely take my wife to this restaurant again. I can highly recommend it!
Been to the restaurant many times. Food was inferior. Not cooked properly and ribs were tough. First time we were disappointed in the restaurant. Doubt we would return.
Great lunch spot for our trip downtown. Calves liver was fabulous!!
Stumbled across the lobster/champagne four course menu. Outstanding all around. I typically am disappointed at pairings for different reasons but this work hit all the right notes. And as always, the service was tremendous. Just a great dinner.
It was a snowy evening and walking in instantly felt cozy and inviting. Waiter was first rate - -friendly, knowledgeable, attentive but not oppressive. Food was excellent. Wine too. Great pictures on the walls.
Jean Robert's Table is a unique restaurant in Cincinnati featuring well crafted and prepared French cuisine service by an attentive and professional staff. The waiter was helpful in selecting wines that would pair well with the entrees.
Loved it. Warm, welcoming and delicious on a cold winter Cincinnati night.
excellent food , excellent service. one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati
I ordered two glasses of wine (different types) and they were both outstanding for the price. However, the fish I ordered, which was the daily special, was quite overcooked. Our main server was rote and somewhat unpleasant, and when it came time to pour sauces over our entrees he slopped them on so haphazardly I checked my shirt for splash stains. The bread was exceptional.
Most disappointed experience. We have our nephew visiting from St.Luois. First I ordered foie gras for appetizer. The inside was cold like it just came out of the refrigerator. I sent it back. Came back , still is chilled on the inside. My main course was cod. Not much of taste or flavor bland. The worst came last. Our server Jim, either has hearing problem or saw that I have and Asian face. I ordered chocolate mouse, and just could not understand. My nephew and my husband tried to help, he still could not understand. My nephew finally had to actually point it out on the menu. We had not been to Robert’s Restaurant awhile. Used to love it. It is no longer the same caliber of restaurant we used to know. Terrible to have paid such high price for a meal, and to have foie gras came out ice cold and a waiter that could understand what the customer wanted to order, until you actually have to point it out on the printed menu!
