Celebrated a family birthday. Service was excellent with server very knowledgeable of both menu and wine selections. Appetizer portions were very large and entrees incredibly tasteful.
This is a great special occasion restaurant. Food, wine and service are always top shelf.
We had high hopes based on a great experience at Jean Robert's French Crusty restaurant. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The bean soup was good, but nothing special. The pork came in a small portion and was over-cooked. The trout arrived unexpectedly since the waiter told us they were out and did we mind a white lake fish as a substitute. The trout was overshadowed by the sauce that our server poured over it when served. On the bright side, the creme brulee was quite good.
My wife and I, good friends, and clients have been entertained and entertaining at The Table, since its inception! The owner and creative talent, Jean Robert de Cavel, continues to create a menu giving homage to local and regional sources as well as old French standards, like croque Messieur. The service is knowledgeable and impeccable, under the seasoned and expert leadership of Mary Lou Lind, working with Jean Robert at several previous locations. I can’t recommend the restaurant high enough and I haven’t even discussed the bar, lunch boxes, pastries and desserts—all of which are fantastic!
Have eaten here half a dozen times when in town on business. Excellent food....always. Usually order something that is a special not listed on the menu, never dissapointed. Noise level not bad even when the house is full.
This was the most perfect dinner I have ever enjoyed. The service was prompt and professional, and our waiter was an expert on the menu and wine offerings. The kitchen produced flawless meals. Every bite was delicious - I had escargot (with extra bread for dipping), sea scallops with pork belly, and the Mille Guillermo napoleon. Outstanding! Highly recommended for a fancy meal out.
Chef is awsome. All of his venues are temples to creative techniques that allow great ingredients to soar to new hieghts of gastronomy.
Seated at a quiet table as requested. At checkin we were asked if we had any time constraints (theater, etc). We informed them that yes we were headed after dinner to the theater. Our server, Hope, asked what time we would like to have completed our meal. She then worked with us efficiently and effectively so that we got out in plenty of time for the short walk to the theater. Hope was a friendly, gracious and very helpful server. We would definitely ask for her again when we return to this fine restaurant. Our meal was excellent in all respects, and the wine we chose was a perfect accompaniment to our appetizers and entrees.
Went before the theater and they were prompt on getting us served but not pushy
Should be business lunch HQ in Cincinnati, on a day when the wine list is an option...outstanding as always.
Another great meal!
I took my daughter for her birthday. The food and our server were excellent and we had a very enjoyable evening overall. I have been to the restaurant several time before for lunch and had a good experience and would recommend the restaurant for both lunch and dinner.
Jean-Robert's Table continues to be a fabulous place to dine and be pampered. Foo was outstanding as always with a great Halibut special and escargot appetizer. It was a great place for a pre theater meal.
Everything was fantastic
It was quite a delightful dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our surroundings. The food was excellent and the service top notch. It was a great place for our small celebration of a friends retirement. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thanks for being such a terrific place!
2nd time we ate at Jean-Robert's...we loved it. We will definitely be going back.
We continue to choose Jean-Robert's Table to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries. We love everything about it: friendly service, superb food presentation, no rush.
Lovely "Frenchified" cuisine. Wine excellent but very pricey by the glass. A very nice special lunch.
This is an old-fashioned fine dining restaurant, but updated in a relaxed, upscale, casual setting. The staff are service professionals. The menu is small, but varied. The cocktail menu is perfect. We love this place.
Lovely restaurant that features traditional French cuisine of high quality.
Excellent place to go before a show!
Jean-Robert's never disappoints. The service is impeccable, the food delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is quaint and relaxing. Ann made sure that we had plenty of time to dine before leaving to see Hamilton. It was the perfect kick-off to a fabulous evening of entertainment. We will definitely be back.
Before the Broadway show, Hamilton, we wanted a memorable meal to set the stage for this special evening. We shared and enjoyed a trio of small plates with elegant presentation accompanied with the appropriate wine. Outstanding service also added to make everything special.
The food was fabulous. Our waiter was very engaging, very prompt, and very accommodating. I wish I could have dinner there every night.
Great food, wine and service!
This is definitely a place I’d recommend for a date. There is nothing about the place that anything less than first class. I will tell everyone I know about it and surely plan on returning in the near future.
Amazing restaurant -- by far the best French food that we have experienced in Ohio. Every time we eat here, it takes us right to a little French bistro in Paris. We have not tasted anything that we have not loved here (the frog legs are to die for) and the service is absolute perfection. It is a must every time we are in Cincinnati.
Outstanding food but a not stuffy atmosphere. Always good place for a quite special evening with friends or your significant other
The food and service were magnificent. I had the vegetarian plate and bread and they were great. We just love the food at Jean-Robert’s Table!
As always Jean Roberts food was spectacular. The service was outstanding also. The only issue was there was a loud, intoxicated table of what looked like older regulars. 3 loud men joined 4 women in the booth and it was very distracting. Their waitress did quiet them down once. One of the men went table hopping to another table. This did not turn into an intimate Valentines dinner with my wife.
Enjoyed a delicious Valentines Dinner with my husband at The Table. The waiter was very helpful & the pace of service perfect for a romantic dinner. As always the food was superb!!!
We had lunch for Valentine’s Day. Food was outstanding and excellent value. Lovely service. It was a wonderful experience. .
Absolutely wonderful....Menu gave lots of choices and those ordered exceeded our very high expectations....Would highly recommend....Prices were very much in line with other fine dining restaurants...Two thumbs up...
Jean-Robert's is our first choice every time that we want to celebrate. We're never disappointed. They are truly foodies ... they take delight and pride is delivering a product and service that is second to none.
Relaxed atmosphere... excellent knowledgeable service... great cocktails. Absolutely stellar food.
The food is beautifully plated and outstanding in presentation and expert preparation. The Lobster salad is to die for with so many unique flavors and textures. The halibut was beyond delicious and perfectly prepared. The chef is first rate on a par with Michelin starred restaurants we have eaten at all over the world.
Wonderful as always!
My husband and I love it here. Just a wonderful dinner. We got thr 4 course dinner with wine paring. Awesome
We have dined here many times and always been wowed. The service was good but not outstanding and the food was average, normally it knocks our socks off
Delicious real French cuisine!!! Server was very attentive. Loved the decor.
Food usually excellent. My wife's filet has to be brought back for re-cooking. Dessert is great.
