I arrived 15 minutes before my reservation at 8:30 for three; they we're able to immediately seat us. I was greeted by an amazing waiter who told us the specials as well as favorites that were usually ordered. The food I ordered, artic charr, and the appetizer, lobster, was amazing. To top it off the desert, duo of mousse, was the highlight of the night. The only qualm I have is that there's almost zero non-alcoholic beverages, but if you don't care about that it's a great spot for an amazing price .

It was an incredible dining experience. Ann, our waitress, was amazingly helpful and educated us on our choices and made expert suggestions. The 4 of us each made different selections and all loved our meals. From appetizers through dessert, all was superb.

The drinks were great too!

Was a excellent meal as always before king and I. Snails were great as well as the lobster Mac and cheese. Pork was great.

I ordered the Tros Cochon (sp??) on Friday night.... just before it was brought to our table, the waiter informed us one of the items (the pork ribs) was being replaced with sausages as the ribs were no longer available. I did agree to accept the substitution (we had theatre tickets and were on a tight time window). However, there was no adjustment for the price (are not sausages substantially less costly?) and the quality was so-so. As I was not overwhelmed by the pork belly either, I would not, at this moment in time, recommend the dish. Why not just offer additional pork tenderloin?

The mashed potatoes, on the other hand, were outstanding! My partner's meal (the short ribs) were very good, although not the best he has had locally.

Food was superb. Service a little slow which is ok for a normal day but not when there is a play to attend to. Will go earlier next time and will be an awesome experience. Best foie gras I ever had!

Food was a little disappointing. Salad dressing was not that great. Salad greens had stems. Swordfish was a little dry, not compensated for by orange-ish sauce poured over it. Don't know what it was. They asked if it was a special occasion 2 or 3 times. I said it was my daughter's birthday. Nothing was done to celebrate the birthday. Why bother asking???

We had an absolutely lovely evening. My wife had salmon and I had the duck confit. Both were excellent. The sauces were wonderful.
Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing, and the wine list was not large, but had some excellent choices.
Definitely will return!

We like Jean Robert's food and have been to several of his places in Cincinnati. The Table is our favorite location. We took four of our friends who had never been to the Table. We had a great meal. Several of the ladies in the group had two appetizers for their meal and were very satisfied with selections and the variety that was available. The Table did not disappoint us!

The char special might be the best meal I have ever had. I usually hate salad, but this house salad was excellent. Our server (Jeff was his name, I think) was knowledgeable and attentive without intruding on our conversation—perfect. I loved this exoerience and so did my friend (who lived in Paris for a few years).

Staff very friendly and accommodating. The maître d' remembered me and welcomed me back even though I had not been there in many months. I loved the prix fix meal of 4 courses, all delicious, although I was not a fan of the ginger sorbet, which was a bit strong for my palate.

Jean Robert's Table is easily my favorite restaurant not only in Cincinnati, but it is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. The entire experience is always top notch! They always provide us with wonderful cuisine, a phenomenal wine list, and great service. I love the fact that I can swing in for a quick lunch at the bar and have a quick homemade bowl of soup, a salad, or their famous "lunch tray," or I can come in on a more special occasion and have a 6 course tasting menu. I have had almost everything on their ever changing menu over the years, and somehow they always exceed my expectations. I actually commented to the manager, Marilou, on my way out on Saturday night that I was impressed at how they somehow continue to evolve the menu to keep it fresh and interesting even for a person that has eaten there over hundred times over the years. Jean Robert is also one of the most talented and humble chefs I have ever known. He does more work for charities around town than anyone realizes, and he does it because it is the right thing to do for the community he lives in. We are fortunate to have Jean Robert and his restaurant as a part of our city! I rarely write reviews, but I had to stop and provide feedback on this gem because everyone needs to visit at least once in their life.

never disappoints on consistent quality and right value; unique, diverse wine list that is not intimidating, and staff has menu memorized and assists with wine selections

JRT is impeccable: food, service, atmosphere. Consistency is a virtue, and JRT possesses it. In spades. This is one of the few restaurants where they don't change "what ain't broke." Smart. It's sophisticated. Great place to take a lady for a discrete luncheon preceding a fun-filled afternoon. Of work, most definitely. Impossible to recommend JRT too highly. Don't skip the bread and butter; tres French.

We were very disappointed in the server and the slow service. Took us 45 minutes to get our appetizers. Server was not in a good mood . She was very "flip" with us. The food was amazing but her attitude was too much.

I was glad to find a restaurant that has a romantic and quiet atmosphere, especially I surprised my husband for our 4 year anniversary. Everything was very good and the service was excellent. Nichole was very nice and energetic. Everything was great, except one thing, there was no acknowledgement of "Happy Anniversary". What was the point of putting that in my reservation? We didn't order any sweet, only because we were too full and couldn't fit in the dessert. I would come again. Thank you.

Food was very good, although my wife's first set of carrots with her Halibut were too tough to cut. Our waiter did bring some better carrots fairly quickly. I also ordered one of the specials. Not one of our greatest meals there but was still "very good". It's our favorite place to go before a show.

The. chef du jour had a very heavy hand with the salt. The surf & turf tartare was close to inedible, and the filet and its accompaniments were unpalatable.

The food was commendable. I did wish for a bit more salt, but still memorable. The butters and sauces were great, as expected in a French restaurant. My wife was not a fan of the decor. Best of all was the service, top notch. A restaurant worth crossing off of the bucket list.

Two in party had scallops which were fine. One had lamb on prix fixe and was disappointed as initially undercooked, then sparse outside the bone. Not up to JR standards at all. Balance of meal was fine.

My friend and I ordered the special and it was delivered a bit longer than it should have taken. The waitress initiated an appropriate apology. Never having been there I was expecting something a little higher quality in the food although it was good. The bill was not itemized so it was hard to know if it was charged correctly but we did not have time to check it out as the delay on food delivery required us to leave to get to our appointments on time. The wait staff was friendly.
