I love Jean Robers. The staff knows me by name. Really good food. Warm, cozy atmosphere
Lovely anniversary dinner. Lobster bisque was outstanding.
Great service excellent food!
Anything Jean-Robert does is OUTSTANDING.
He has the best restaurants anywhere.
Personal attention to the decor and food and service.
Food and service was exceptional. Could not have been more pleased with our experience. One of the best restaurants in the city.
The service was terrific & food extraordinary!
Consistently delightful evenings when we are at Table. The food is always beautifully executed, and the servers are a cut above any other staff. The wine list has a good range in every category. Great choice for friends and for business.
Although Table will be moving, try to get in & enjoy the ambiance, the delicious menu & nightly specials. It is appreciated when the Chef himself stops by your table ! Our waiter was attentive & funny & did not lead us astray with our dinner selections. We thoroughly enjoyed venision, sea bass, rack of lamb, escargot, lobster salad, & desserts !
Service was perfect food was very very good
Good food and service as usual!
Fabulous French food with decent prices and very friendly staff with excellent and attentive service. We will MISS YOU!! I hope you open up your new location quickly.
Exceptional service and food
Some concern able how my table was to other tables
Will hesitant to revisit until more physical barrier between booth tables
Very delicious food! And our waiter was wonderful. Will be going back before they close. Excited for their new location!
Food was beautiful and delicious. Elegant yet comfortable. Our server, Hunter was great.
We love to bring our clients here because the service, the food, and the ambiance are reliably perfect.
Always a fantastic experience at JR's Table. Sad to hear that they're closing in December but I'm excited for what's next. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
This was our first time eating at Table and I am max we waited this long! Ann was fabulous! The food was amazing.
OUTSTANDING. The food, service and quality were superb. Chef Jean-Robert and Marylou at the front end always do a fine job. Had the 10th anniversary Pilipino / French dinner. EXQUISITE.
Make this one of your Cincinnati dining destinations in 2020 as the restaurant will be closing at the end of the year. We will sorry miss them.
Dined with the same friends we dined with here in March--right before restaurants closed--as it so happens. Had another wonderful evening. Our server was spectacular--many good suggestions, great timing of courses, friendly, not intrusive. Red(s) salad was outstanding--loved the dressing. Except for my entree. a thick burger with plenty of frites (which I enjoyed the next day), all plates went back clean.
It's such a nice touch that Jean-Robert takes the time to come to each table. We have dined with him all over Cincinnati, and are looking forward to his next opening soon.
Food and service were very good but there was no social distancing, restaurant was crowded and no space between parties.
The tasting menu was fantastic. I love good food and Jean-Robert is where it is always. Marilu was wonderful and gracious. The server Andrew was great. We had a leisurely dinner and enjoyed it to the fullest. My husband thought the third course was the best. I liked the Red Snapper course...But that's not to say any of the other courses were bad..not by a longshot. Just one much much more enjoyable than the others. It was a memorable night.
Absolutely wonderful food. I mean truly delicious.
Scallops, duck, ravioli appetizer, everything was perfect.
Service is and has always been a bit slow. We would have ordered dessert but there was such a long gap between end of meal and the return of our waiter we lost interest. So beware if you’re on a tight schedule. But it’s all worth the wait.
Celebration menu was outstanding!
We went to Table with friends for dinner for the first time Saturday night and had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was amazing and the service was a delight. Hunter did a fantastic job as our server and the rest of the staff was warmly attentive. Jean-Robert even stopped by our table and thanked us for coming. We look forward to going back in a few weeks!
Heat was turned off, very cold inside the restaurant, my wife was freezing.
We had a wonderful dining experience...professional staff and outstanding food.
Every aspect was perfect! Had wonderful food, drink and service!
A wonderful 10 year anniversary celebration for the restaurant. We had the special Filipino/French 5 course dinner with accompanying wind selections.
Every course was thoughtfully presented by a great wait staff. Attentive and friendly, not overbearing.
Jean Robert visited tables, which is always a nice bow on the present. :)
We'll be back before the end of the year!!
We always enjoy our time at Jean Robert's table. Everything is great. The food, service, atmosphere, and the overall experience. We are looking forward to our next experience at this amazing place.
Magnificent menu and execution. Fantastic entrees and subtle blend of root veggies and starches that combine to provide an unmatched dining experience. Great wine options. Look for the special tasting menus.
Tried the Filipino-French 10-year anni tasting menu and found it to be extremely subpar. Perhaps if I had ordered off the regular menu, I would've found the food more appealing. I grew up eating all kinds of Asian cuisine including Filipino. Lumpia, adobo, the works. I even make my own halo-halo from time to time and usually keep ube or ube ripple ice cream in my freezer at home to enjoy. I also have eaten a mass amount of French food from casual to finer dining. Each course was lackluster unfortunately. The "lumpia" tasted more like a frozen spring roll and the sauces it came with made me believe they came straight from jars. The ravioli however was decent but nothing phenomenal. The second course was poached red snapper on top a small bed of rice noodles sautéed in either way too much soy sauce or too much salt in general, also the rice noodles didn't taste very fresh, had a dry feeling to them and were kind of nasty, to be honest. The snapper was cooked well and was probably my favorite part of the whole five courses, unfortunately the small portion left much to be desired. The hollandaise poured over was heavy and the portion way too big. The 3rd course was a quail confit and this is where I was very lost, duck and quail confit are probably up there in some of my favorites to eat and this again fell short of what I have had before. The 4th course was where I really put my fork down. The filet I expected like at most places where the chef chooses how everything is prepared, I expected it to be medium-rare or medium but it came it a little overcooked, well-done even. The napa-wrapped oxtail was okay, but a little too soggy. The beef-tongue was cooked well but nothing was really paired with it. My worst remark would be the disgrace of rice this "trio du beouf" was served with. Extremely cheap, dry, awful rice, practically inedible. Being Asian, I could only compare it to Uncle Ben's. I was expecting a lot from this restaurant being so highly rated. $240 loss.
One of our favorites
This is a lovely rather small and intimate property. We had a perfect round type booth perfect for conversation for 3. Meal was excellent. Service at a non-rush pace ( we said we were not in a hurry) and it was the last seating - the owners don’t push folks out and a number were at the bar until closing. Chef comes out to see all tables - at least late in the evening We’ve been here before and will return when we are in Cincy again.
Their special 5 course meal was spectacular!
We went to JR’s Table for our wedding anniversary and had his 10 year anniversary celebration 5 course meal. It was a fusion of French and Philippine cuisine. Excellent food and large portions.
Everything was absolutely wonderful. Just as it always is at Jean-Robert’s Table! I can’t wait till my next visit there!
20 th anniversary
Wonderful Food, wonderful service!
We enjoyed living in Brussels Belgium and enjoying the culinary capital of Europe for many years. How we have missed the food. Jean-Roberts Table is a godsend to our Great City! We look forward to returning soon.
Absolutely amazing meal! Each course was better than the next! And the service was even better!
