Jean Georges Steakhouse - ARIA
Very nice restaurant and impeccable service. Prices are typical of Vegas though. Steak was overcooked and the waiter saw it before I said anything and made it right. Even cooked to the right temp it was good but not worth 60$. Crispy potatoes were awesome.
Exceptional service, cuisine, ambiance!
The caparaccio app was amazing as was the Kobe beef. Although presentation of the bone marrow was gorgeous it could have had more bone marrow and the crab legs were not entirely cracked open for easy access. Expected a bit more attention to detail for $250 a person
Jean Georges was ok. The food was good, and everything went ok, but it was just ok. Nothing special. They hype themselves up fairly well, but don't quite deliver up to the hype. We had a team of three waiting on us, but they were unorganized. There was an obvious disconnect between them. We had a few extended waiting periods that became excessive. I'm glad I tried it, but I probably won't go back. Vegas has options!
Food was overpriced and underwhelming.
Service was chaotic and confusing.
Took over 2 hours for a simple 2 person dinner. Horrible service, and a bill that was over $300 for average food. So disappointed.
Extremely expensive check, yet very dissapointing food and stake. Don't get me wrong, I am a regular of Michelin star places, but ony it is worthed. This one was a Big rip off. Please stay away. There are great stake resta in LV with much reasonable prices. Shame on a "name chef":((
Best Sea bass I have ever had! Simply amazing. Mac n cheese and corn were perfectly flavored.
Steaks are the best, we always come here for my birthday. Noise level is very low, which I really like. Will be back again and again. Thank you!!!
Good meal as expected for this type of restaurant.
Very good wine list and excellent steaks. Prices seemed a little steep but the food was wonderful. Great service by our wait staff (Team #2). The best part of the meal was the bone marrow - the best I have ever had and just huge. The bone-in ribeye steak and the filet were both superb. Shrimp cocktail app. was also very good.
Great food and great atmosphere for a business dinner. The service and food was what anyone would expect from Jean Georges and the wine list is amazing.
Amazing dinner! Tomahawk rib eye is he bomb!
Pared with a cab.
The steaks were not good at all. Tough and tasted like sausage. Worst $70 steak I’ve ever had. Mushrooms are weird and not what I was expecting. Truffle Mac and cheese and Caesar salad were pretty good. Great wine selection. Bummer we spent so much money on a very sub par meal.
Service was incredible!! We were there for a 30th Birthday and they sent over 2 complimentary desserts that were delicious!!
It was a truly memorable, outstanding meal. Strongly recommend the wagyu tomahawk steak to share!
It was our second time at JG, it did not disappoint! Absolutely, delicious! We’ll be back!
Food was fantastic ! Unfortunately the same can't be said of the service received on arrival. We were told our reservation was given up because we arrived 2 minutes later than our reservation window allotted. - we did advise the hostess that the delay was due to us having to wait for a wheelchair upon arrival to the aria hotel entrance. The hostess advised we would have to wait 1/2 hr for our table - but she would call over the manager.
The manager came over and essentially said to us " you came late so you'll have to wait 1/2 hr until all current reservations are seated. We explained to him again about the delay on having to wait for a wheelchair for a member of our party - he said there was nothing he could do. You would have thought that as a manager attempting to do some service recovery, it may have included an offer for drinks or something. But nothing. I would hope that as a fine restaurant .
Wishing to promote business - they would have trained their staff and managers to treat their customers properly and with respect.
The does include situations such as this.
I am quite disappointed and would have trouble recommending them based on our experience.
Always a great place!
Met a key client for a great dinner!
The food came out early even though we asked for it not to but most importantly - how RUDE our main waiter was to us. He actually snapped back at us with a snarky tone and comment. He should be spoken to about his professionalism to paying customers!!!
We went for my husband’s birthday. The food was amazing and the ambiance were even better. The service could have been a little better. The waiter was nice but didn’t show any personality or become personable until it was time to pay and tip. Everything was really nice over all.
The food is amazing
A phenomenal experience over all. Food was excellent, service was fantastic.
For the reputation of the restaurant I was underwhelmed. Appetizers were all amazing, dessert was great. Steak was over cooked.
Great steak. Francesca was so nice and courteous. Great time!
My husband ate here on 09/06 and we have been here multiple times in past while in Vegas staying at the Aria. We are from Santa Barbara and enjoy Lucky’s steakhouse in a Montecito. My bone in veal chop was incredibly juicy and flavorful the way I love it prepared medium. My husband ordered the filet mignon which was lean, tender, and delicious. They served 4 different sauces and I did not care for the tarty Bernaise sauce and green pesto sauce. Instead I enjoyed the chipotle and teriyaki bbq flavor steak sauces. For appetizer, we ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp which surprisingly was not greasy but very clean and succulent—it only comes with 3 prawns so we had to add a 4th shrimp since we were sharing the appetizer. We ordered the Frank family wine which enhanced our dining experience and brought out the flavors of our meal and appealed to our inner senses. The bread was served brown hot and toasted dipped in garlic sauce and served with creamy rich butter so delightful!!! For dessert, we ordered cappuccino along with chocolate soufflé cake which had a spongy texture and light mousse with chocolate syrup. It was perfect and melted into our mouths! Overall, we give this highest rating due to outstanding service, attention to detail, and carefully hand crafted entrees. We also enjoyed the romantic and dimly lit atmosphere which made us feel calm and relaxed!! We will be back again next time for more!!
Simply amazing dinner for our anniversary!!
The restaurant was basically empty. We waited 15 mins to order wine. And had to basically find a waiter. Food was good I mean ok. But for the cost it didn’t make the cut in my opinion. This is a world class chef and it was about as good as Outback Steak house but at $200 a person for wine and steaks.
Nicely done. Great wait team and excellent steaks.
Only the terrific sommelier creates a star. What a disappointment. JG in NY is really good. This was a terrible and very expensive Las Vegas experience. Any restaurant knows to that the waitstaff asks how the food is so if there is an issue, it is promptly fixed. Not last night.
The bad. My wife ordered a ribeye and I order a ribeye cap. My order was at the suggestion of the waiter. The food came. My steak was ordered medium which the waiter said was a hot red center with pink. My steak came well done although it was still tasty and very soft like advertised. My wife’s steak was over salted. But nobody came over to ask. Eventually we were able to signal someone to come over and send my wife’s steak back to be cooked with no salt. I had eaten 1/2 or more of mine by then so I did not send it back. My wife’s steak came the second time and she took one bite saying it was “greasy.” Well at least we were charged for one steak for her as well as mine. You would think after a steak is sent back, the waiter makes sure the second one is ok. Nope. Silence.
The good. The appetizers, waygu carpacio, Caesar salad and calamari were excellent. The sommelier suggested I try a $70 plus or minus glass of Cabernet. It was terrific and he seemed knowledgeable. By the way, the waiter did ask if I wanted another glass of wine.
We went as a group of 7 people. Everything was what we expected and more. Would go again.
Outstanding across the board. Would highly recommend to anyone! By far the best steakhouse in Vegas.
Shrimp cocktail , bread and steaks were great ! Didn’t like the mushrooms
Other than the Vegas access to A5 Wagyu this was your normal steakhouse. Ambience is great, staff very professional as you would expect but bang for your buck this isn't it. You're gonna shell out $400 bucks for normal prime steaks and drinks for two people. It's Vegas, I get it and I got over paying for food a long time ago but for that price point you better make sure everything is spot on. Example, I was just in the mood for a NY strip (...why did you order a NY strip at a high end steakhouse?...because it's still darn good prime meat and what I wanted ok!...and my wife was getting a filet and I wasn't in the mood for greasy...don't judge). Anyway I ordered medium rare, it was medium almost medium well. The sides were pretty good, not great. Anyway, very interesting location, great drinks, great staff, very professional and friendly. Just nothing stand out unless you are dropping $2K. If you are up for a $300 tomahawk or some Wagyu at $65/oz this is your place. They will even carve tableside for you. Personally, I wished I had gone to Delmonico. I'll go back as long as work is paying...
Had a great dining experience again!
My wife and I sat at the bar and had a great experience all the way through dinner. Darren the bar tender was a great! Thanks JGS
Loved the atmosphere. Could have done without the hair rock playing Quietly in the background. Wait staff was amazing. Loved Jason. He was super cool and helpful.
Overall the Food was good. Not great, but good. Wife raved about the sea bass. But that was about all. Liked the cream corn. Liked the shrimp appetizer. My NY bone-in strip was just fair. But I am from Kansas and excellent corn feed beef is found everywhere here. So I am pretty hard to impress steak wise. It was done as requested: medium raw plus. Juicy and hot. Taste was as expected. A little too much fat for my NY strip expectations. Pricy joint. But no different than other high end steak houses. Expect to pay $100 a meal.
