Jean Georges Steakhouse - ARIA
We had an international food critic in our party. The restaurant is overhyped, the food and the service is overpriced, was danot good value, did not meet expectations.
Been a while since being here. Greeting, service, atmosphere good. Wine list good. Not enough French.
Great west coast oysters. King crab and F1 Wagyu- not A5 which I have had in Kobe- really worth it. Less fatty but just as flavorful. A keeper. Plus well cooked.
But a French named restaurant and no cheese plate option for final course?! Easy fix. Will return. Steak beats Prime and most others.
I have nothing good to say about this places
We ordered the special, the Wagyu ribeye. We should have went with the fillet. Very fatty and not very tinder. Everything else was great but if your going to spend $400 for a meal you expect a great steak.
Food is Dry and bland
Great modern steakhouse.....plating, taste, and decent service. We do it again!! Recommended
The Chilean Sea Bass just melts in your mouth. Everything was terrific !!
Dinner was outstanding! Everything from the cocktails, salads, entree and desserts were wonderful. Highly recommend!
perfect as always
I had a great first date dining here.
It was a fantastic meal, service left a little to be desired. Nothing bad but our server was very rehearsed and couldn’t quite read a room to to speak. Service was a bit slow but to be expected on a busy Saturday night. Overall amazing experience and food and will be back for sure!
The food was over priced! Steak was good but didn’t have a lot of flavor, sides were ok but nothing exceptional! For a Vegas steakhouse I was little disappointed especially being in the Aria Hotel! Expected so much better food!
By far one of the unique steakhouses in Las Vegas. Not only carrying a full selection of cuts, like A5 Kobe, however they also do apricot and mesquite wood grilled steaks.
Even though the restaurant was packed, the servers were attending, however not intrusive. We asked between having an expensive steak or the brisket, and the server suggested the brisket as that was a more unique experience. So they're definitely focused on that over racking up a huge tab.
The food was so flavorful. I guess the chef picked up Asian influences, so he used a unique mixture of herbs and spices to season everything. Wow!
Birthday. Outstanding dining experience!!! Food was unique and well presented, staff knowledgeable and friendly! Sea bass was outstanding and our side dishes were delicious!
Me and my girlfriend have a reservation on November 11 at 10 pm so when we arrive the server was attentive we order drinks and I ordered the brisket and that's why I chose jean to eat and he tells me the brisket was done I can understand how a restaurant whit $$$$ prices run out something the gigantic prawns was awesome and the habanero sauce perfect for me the mc and cheese was ok overall *** stars was my experience
Service is friendly and efficient. Menu classic modern steakhouse. The execution was less than successful. The hot food was not served hot. Very nice wine list.
Nate was awesome. He was very informative and made our anniversary a memorable one.
Food and Service were amazing, I would absolutely recommend this place! Make sure to get the porterhouse! It was divine. And the molten chocolate cake is a must. We went came to Las Vegas for a special occasion and this place definitely fit the bill. We were not disappointed.
Good food and i love the cream brule
Impresionante ! Soy alérgica al gluten y estuvieron siempre a atentos a eso !!! Superrrr recomendable
First the good...attentive prompt servers with water, wine, bread and soup/salad. And then the bad...
1 hour later our table was delivered The steaks we ordered. How long does it take to cook a steak? Less than 10 minutes. What was the kitchen doing? Left a very bad impression
Great experience for business dinner of 11! We had the chef’s table and enjoyed it very much
We should have paid attention to the reviews for this restaurant. Our waiter was not polite and the food wasn’t worth the price. In fact the only delicious item we had was the mashed potatoes. We weren’t told of any specials, had to hear them from a different waiter telling the table next to us after we had already ordered. It was an overall disappointing dining experience. We paid more at Craft Steak in MGM and the waitstaff were fantastic and food was excellent, spend your money there instead.
Everyone from the hostess to the food server were excellent
I was very unhappy that when I arrived a few minutes early for my reservation at 5:30, not a particularly busy time, I was told I must wait at the bar. All seating at the bar had “ reserved” signs. When I pointed that out to the hostess she still declined to seat me at my table but moved a sign for me to sit at the bar. I was the only woman among several men loudly watching football. I felt very uncomfortable. I have NEVER written anything negative about a restaurant before but this experience deserves a less than stellar rating. I have eaten at many GJ restaurants all over the world and have always enjoyed prior experiences. Hostesses were not helpful or particularly kind. Waiters were wonderful however.
My wife and I went to Jean Georges Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday, and to continue my quest to dine at all of the fine dining steakhouses on the Strip. Jean Georges is at the top of my list for quality food and impeccable service. Jack and James, our servers, made us feel right at home. The menu offers unique items and outstanding meat. We decided to share the Wagyu carpaccio for an appetizer. The flavor of the meat combined beautifully with the black truffle fritters and lime salt--truly delectable. My wife had the Chilean sea bass with a beautiful maitake mushroom on the side. Again, great flavors in the miso-yuzu glaze on the fish and the succulence of the mushroom. I had the Wagyu ribeye cap--such a beautiful piece of steak, perfectly cooked. My complimentary birthday treat was a chocolate shell with chocolate-covered coffee beans "sealed" inside. A tap of a spoon on the shell released the delicious beans--fun and beautiful. All in all, this was a memorable birthday dinner. By the way, small touches make a difference: we opted for individual glasses of wine. Our servers came with the two bottles and poured the requisite tastes for approval before pouring the glasses. As Jack said, that's the way it should be.
Service not good at all
Steak was poorly made. Not a traditional steakhouse experience and definitely less quality than other Jean Georges restaurants.
Group dinner in a private room. The service from Boris was top notch - the best ever. The food was very good, but certainly no better than the top NYC steakhouses where I normally dine. And the prices were much higher. Unconscionably high, in fact. The drink prices as well. Other than the price gouging, the experience was very good
USDA prime ribeye was disappointingly tough to cut with a stem knife and too chewy.
Jean-George should be doing better than this. For the money, the value, flavors, even the presentation was un-impressive. The Sea Bass was so-so and uninspiring. The presentation with one grilled clump of a white mushroom as big as the bass was amateurish. Ok - its a steak house.....but the “cap” of Wagyu steak ($75) was nothing more than fibrous flank steak. Tough to cut and chew and the superior flavor was just not there. The Beet Salad was a common lettuce salad with two common red beet halves stingily spread around on the plate. Really George ?!!? The classic Wedge Salad had such a doctored-up blue cheese dressing that it was hard to detect the distinctive cheese flavor. Come on George....for this kind of money, step up your game.
The food was outstanding. Very rich and flavourful. The service was exceptional. A wonderful experience all around.
Perfectly cooked steak and the service was excellent. Jacob the sommelier stopped by to help more than once (they can be hard to pin down these days) and I will be going back. A great experience.
A great albeit pricey place but excellent nonetheless
Food was great as always. Service was terrible! Waiter was rude, non attentive, and condescending.
The food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and the wait staff is exceptional.
