Excellent lunch on Saturday. Have been for dinner many times but never lunch, really enjoyed the menu and it was perfect all the way around. Our entire party was raving over the food! Fish sandwich is insanely good!
Very good service and ample parking. The out of town guests really liked the restaurant but I was disappointed with the serving size of some entrees, especially the grouper. There was a very large table there for an office party or some event. The 40 or so quests made it a little louder than I remember from other visits.
The service was amazing. The cornbread with the honey butter was awesome. The rolls were really good too. The deviled eggs were absolutely delicious. The pimento cheese with bread was really good too. The fried chicken was ok. It wasn’t anything to brag about. The macaroni and cheese was good. The mashed sweet potatoes were ok.
Wonderful service from our server, the manager, and the bartender. Incredible meal.
It was such an amazing experience. I would recommend more training on the dessert wines for your team. I ordered the East of India Solera and it was a bit of a hassle because the server gave me the Jarana fino sherry. He argued that it was a Lustau and I don’t think the server nor the bartender understood the producer was Lustau but East of India and Jarana are two different sherrys. I gave up on getting the sherry I wanted and didn’t want to argue with the server so I got a cocktail instead which was amazing! Will definitely return.
The mimosas were awesome and for a good price, the service was great and I loved how they brought out different assortments of bread in the beginning and cookies at the end. Great establishment with a great ambiance inside.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful--we brought my grandmother for her 93rd birthday. It was fun for her and my whole family. The food was wonderful, and we had fun with appetizers as we celebrated. My only critique is that service was a little slow at the beginning, and our drinks came out a little late. Otherwise, JCT Kitchen was perfect. Can't wait to go back!
Our waiter was amazing. He has dark hair and a beard. He is the best waiter at JCT. promotions please
JCT Kitchen offers a consistently great dining experience.
I've always loved this place. Food is always excellent. The deviled eggs and tuna crudo never disappoint. The apple salad was just so scrumptious. We all had the Day Boat Fish of the Moment, and it was superb. We had a few cocktails, which the lemon drop martini's were so delicious. Our waiter Justin did a great job.
Service couldn't have been better. I always recommend JCT.
First time at this restaurant that we have heard so much about. It lived up to the hype. The restaurant itself is a cool causal trendy vibe and I would recommend planning ahead to ensure you get a table. The service was crisp and efficient! Our server was very knowledgeable about the offerings and what best to order. We really enjoyed this restaurant!
First, the food was amazing! Waited too long to seated for my 8pm reservation. Wine list is very limited. Service could've been more attentive. However, it was a great place. Food was amazing! Would try again.
While I’ve eaten at JCT Kitchen several times during lunch, this was the first time I’ve attended brunch. Wow! This was, by far, the best brunch I’ve had all year. The only drawback was the meal was somewhat pricey —- costing $72 + tip for the entree and coffee. For me, however, I will definitely be back!!!
Great combination of fantastic food, warm service, and comfortable atmosphere. Our go-to place in West Midtown. Thanks again JCT!
I had the fried chicken - perfect. My wife had the scallops and was disappointed. They were well-prepared, but the amount was too small to qualify as an entree; it was more an "appetizer" sized plate.
JCT Kitchen has best food and cocktails in a wonderfully warm and casual atmosphere. It is hands-down my favorite place to eat lunch in Atlanta.
Fantastic service and dinner. We will be back without a doubt.
Lovely scallops, delicious lemon chicken, shrimp and grits disappointing only 5 shrimp. Mac and cheese delicious. Price point on chicken was appropriate other two were high for the small amount of food. Services was impeccable, ambiance was lovely.
We had a girls night out. The service was great. We all enjoyed the night.
Great food and great service by Liz...the best Sunday nite supper so far...the sweet potato jojos were amazing..
Food wasn’t good to me at all.
My food was delicious and the coffee was hot and fresh. We had mimosas with pineapple juice and they were delicious. Everything was very good.
The best brunch experience that I’ve had in a while. Will be back soon!
Evrything was great especially the food, and server was beyond exceptional. Highly recommend.
Not a big fan of the food. Didn't really hit home with the "southern hospitality" aspect. Also, this restaurant is slightly overpriced.
The service was top notch. The food was tasty, portion size was well worth the price. However this is the second time I’ve gotten sick from the fried chicken. Good luck trying to get in contact with management via email.
I have to say that I was hesitant to take our out of town friends here. Why? Because we are not classy nor trendy, but we were glad we pushed through. We stopped into the bar first and had a couple of drinks. They recommended a few drinks that were on point, from their take on the old fashioned to some of the more crafty drinks. When we went downstairs for dinner, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The ambience was energetic and warm at the same time and while it was definitely upscale, it was warm and inviting. We started with deviled eggs and moved on to the fried chicken, lamb shank, and more! The brussel sprouts are completely amazing as was the rest of the food. The service was wonderful and we ended up feeling comfortable even though we were in jeans. Long story, short - just go and enjoy the amazing food. Plan to use valet parking if you are going at night as the parking fills up fast.
The only downside to JCT is the noise level. At times you simply cannot hear across the table. This time we were seated next to an obnoxious person basically yelling at the people around his table. I asked the hostess for another spot. She found a much quieter table on the other side of the restaurant. There was a table of 8 women right behind us and they never reached the volume of the obnoxious guy. So, great job hostess! Our server was terrific. They hire and train well. The food was exceptional as always. The lettuces are always so fresh. Everything was tasty and we'll go back and ask for the little quiet table behind the curtain.
Good food, nice setting service was outstanding and the noise level was very high. Need to dampen the sound to make dinner conversation more pleasant.
Amazing service. I had a chance to experience the upstairs bar for the first time while waiting on a table and really enjoyed the friendly service and snacks. Followed up by an amazing dinner downstairs with work group of 12. The service and for could not have been better. Its the reason is my go to restaurant in West midtown.
We were a large group celebrating a coworker's baby shower. The servers and staff were excellent. They helped us with our table decorations, offered to cut a cake for us, and helped us store our supplies in the back. Outstanding service and hospitality for a large group. Food is excellent too.
One of my favorites in Atlanta. Great food, pleasent and knowledgeable servers. The hostess are always always pleasent and the bartenderd are top notch!
went for Sunday Supper and it was amazing everything was good. I do not like coconut but the pie was so good. The only issue is they need to add one more biscuit and egg person
Atmosphere was great. Had to wait a little long for our table, but the wait wasn't bad. Sunday dinner should include more vegetarian options. Paid thirty dollars for very little food. Veggies were good, but not extraordinary. Barely enough sides for our party. Did not feel "full" after dinner. Should offer more dessert options. Servers gave excellent service. However, an employee incorrectly brought a dish to our table that we did not order. After a few minutes, they realized the mistake, retrieved the plate, and took it to the correct table. My guests and I questioned this, because we felt that it was unsanitary (someone at my table could have sampled the food on the plate, coughed or sneezed on the food on the plate), and the JCT staff should have provided the other party with a fresh plate.
We went for date night on a Sunday and enjoyed the pre-fix Sunday Supper. Our server was Cara (sp?) and she was super nice and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is 5 star. Everything was great but the biscuits and dessert (which we had to enjoy at home because we were so full from dinner) stole the show. We would return during the week to try other items on their extended menu.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to JCT and my visit for Sunday dinner tonight makes me wonder why?!! Everything was delish and how I remembered it. Service was great and JCT just has a nice and relaxed vibe. We’ll definitely be back soon!
It was great ! The food was amazingly cooked, Great server ! (I believe his name was Damien) and an excellent atmosphere ! I’ll definitely be coming back.
Great place for brunch. Second time we’ve been since they started brunch. Has the soft scramble. It was very flavorful but it wasn’t a soft scramble. It was just scrambled egg. Don’t get me wrong. It was very yummy but I was hoping for soft scramble so that I can dip that incredible sour dough into it.
First time I had the “steak” and eggs. That was delish
Had a great brunch with my Mom. She loved it!
The food atmosphere and service were absolutely fantastic! We went to celebrate my mother’s birthday and she loved it. We ordered the Gulf shrimp with grits which was absolutely delicious.
