The set up is beautiful and so classy! The truffle dumplings OMG! Definitely a new favorite restaurant of mine.
This was our first time dining here. Superior service from the moment we entered to when we left. Jacque our server was the best we've ever had. He was very attentive, had great suggestions and made us feel so welcome. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. The ambiance just spectacular. Can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu. Thank you Jacque for a lovely evening.
Date night with my guy, we live it. The Food was amazing and this place is magical.
Very good selection, however the stir fry beef was very salty.
We came to Jaya for our annivesary and we were blown away by the amazing ambiance in their open air restaurant room, with all the fans and design it wasn't hot at all.
We had the Miami spice menu and it was fantastic, very exotic and tasty at the same time.
It was specifically pricey on the cocktails and wine list.
Great vibe!! Upscale, romantic. The DJ was amazing!!
We loved the food and the ambiance! The Miami spice menu had many delicious options to choose from and the service was great. Even though we were a half hour late they were still nice enough to seat us.
Nice environment & good service. Great cocktails but bad food. Never order the seabass tandoori.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was absolutely amazing. Due to the pandemic, we have not been out in six months; however, we are both happy that our first time out was at Jaya. The staff was remarkable, the service was top notch and the food was absolutely incredible. They followed all CDC guidelines and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable as we all navigate during this trying time. Thank for Jaya for the hospitality, we will be back!
Attentive staff from host to servers. Fresh products. Good wine list. There was an issue with a dish, immediately replaced no questions asked, bravo
Dined on Miami Spice and there was no wow dish; food was good but based on previous experience, I would have expected more. Service was not up to par; empty water glasses stood empty unless water was requested.
Although we were rushed due to Covid curfew in Miami, it was a wonderful experience and the customer service was excellent. Be aware that portion sizes are very small though.
We went to Jaya @ The Setai for dinner, this is a beautiful restaurant, the location is just gorgeous, the service really good and the food should be a culinary experience from Southeast and Northern Asian cultures but we were a bit disappointed as we tried the Miami Spice menu, it was ok but nothing special. We had Salmon Tartare and chicken Siu Mai dumplings which were average, for the entrée the Wok Fried Beef which actually was not that great, the beef was very tough, finally the dessert was great, the Hot Chocolate is a very unique dessert, so great @thesetaimiamibeach
I think this year the restaurants have been lacking with the Miami Spice menus, I will cut the restaurants some slack as we want to support them during this pandemic but, in my opinion the whole purpose of having the Miami Spice is to showcase your best dishes to get new customer to come and try your restaurant and, hopefully be amazed by your food so that they come back again after the Miami Spice is finished.
Unfortunately a lot of restaurants showcase really boring menus that I would never be interested to go and try, fortunately there are a few which always have amazing choices from their regular menu and not some everyday boring stuff, hopefully next year our options will be better.

The service was extremely slow. The service was well below the standards for The Setai. I did have a manager that I complained to, and he did bring me two free drinks which at the very least acknowledged my concern.
This was my first time at Jays and definitely not the last one. The place is beautiful, service was A1A and the food was excellent... will be back when they open for brunch
We are regulars. The server was the problem... food arrived quite late, she dropped things twice, warned us as 10:00 that curfew was at 10 ! Did not offer us to order desert and said and upright NOT POSSIBLE when trying to use an open table coupon! Something which was fortunately overruled by a manager...
This place should pick better their staff which used to be fantastic...
Excellent service and food. Love the mix of flavors and spices. Thank you!
In one word perfect!
We enjoy so much and can’t wait to come again probably next week 😝😍
Great food and atmosphere
I normally love this restaurant but reduced staff and closing restrictions by 10 has proved to be a challenging experience. My reservation was confirmed for 9pm. When we arrived no hostess to be found to seat us. Then told we had to wait for her to set a table which zi don’t understand they knew we were coming. Table was a lousy table set up last minute by the service station. Not what I would have expected for a confirmed reservation and a staying guest of the hotel. Food was good but the Sea bass Tikka I shared with my spouse was still cold on the inside. It was rushed and still frozen on the inside.
Again, safety from covid measures put in place still proves challenging. I’d still give it a go again but this just was a miss this time around.
Food, service and ambience were all perfect!!
It was a rainny beautiful evening and we love the fact that we could dine outdoors regardless of the rain. The food was really good but the server was extremely busy and was not able to give us a proper service. At the end of the meal we ask for a cup of tea and was denied to us becuase the computer was off.We thought it was a really poor excuse because it doesnt take to grab a little hot water and put a bag of tea inside.
The food was excellent
Amazing food and beautiful place, very nice and peaceful ambiance
Everything amazing! Food, service, Miami spice menu is on point! We loved!
Jaya is a great place
Very nice location, good service but the food was a big disappointment. For those prices I'd expect much higher quality. Nothing authentic and the asian flavour was a joke. The vegetables were not cleaned well, in the plate I had green onion stalks with the root.
Great time! Great food! Great service!
This is our Third Time at the Setai during Covid19 dinning at Jayas in the courtyard. It's nice to be out in somewhat something that is "normal" dining. The service is very good, the drinks were delicious and the food was good. I love coming here for the ambiance, even though it's extremely hot in Miami, it's nice to go out during this time. There's something missing to classify this as a 5 Star Restaurant, but, overall it's a good place to go out and have a fun dinner night with friends or date night.
While some foodies might be disappointed by the food taste, flavor, etc. not being subtle or sublime, our party absolutely loved it - what was supposed to be spicy was very spicy, what was supposed to be sweet was very sweet, etc. We all thought that the ambiance (beautiful) and the food were fantastic. This will be a place we will go every few weeks.
