Waiters took to long but everything else was perfect
Came with a few friends, the noise level can get quite high, but the ambiance is beautiful and it’s a fun atmosphere!
Poor service, inexperienced staff, mediocre food.
We had to wait an hour after our reservation time to be seated.
Great experience. Food was good, not rave about it good but worth it considering how great the ambiance is. Our waiter Yelena was so sweet and attentive. Would definitely visit again.
Our waiter was very busy, we were waiting for 20 min to order drinks, later we asked 3 times for fabric napkins. It almost turned to be a disaster...
But thanks God, later we had a server, he was very sweet, nice and friendly. He named himself “jacques cousteau”, which brought childhood memories of that kind gentleman. Overall he made our dinner experience very nice.
Thank you “jacques cousteau”
Great place but poorly managed. Bar staff has it right, they are managed well and are concerned about the customers. Dining room in courtyard is problematic. The host stand has trouble handling incoming customers. Typically you are rudely told to wait for your seat even though you have a reservation. You are not told where to wait or how long you will have to wait. Only that they are busy and you are not important to Jaya because of the very fact that they are busy. Not a good recipe for a company to stay busy.
Drinks are good. Appetizers are fine. Mains are terrible and were sent back. Our server was lovely. Hostess had an attitude problem.
Ambiance is magical. Food is nothing to rave home about. Ordered Sea bass which lacked flavor. For an appetizer ordered mushroom dumplings which looked way better than they tasted. Completely flavorless. Service was awful. The waitress was running around from table to table.
We felt rushed. Not once were we asked whether we are enjoying the food.
Horrible rudest hostess evee
Food was not good. My daughter and I both felt ill after. Service took forever. Person next to us, kept smoking and putting it out on the floor, waitress knew, and didn’t asked them to stop. (Very odd) Ambiance was the best part
The hostess was a bite rude and made us wait while tables were available. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is too
Everything is exceptional here from food to service to ambience. Certainly worth the money & time spent.
Birthday lunch & service & food was fantastic thanks
Amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a superb upscale experience!
Really romantic, beautiful vibe, wonderful aesthetic, fantastic wine. Getting seated can be a bit chaotic as it is in a hotel, but once seated service is fantastic. Highly recommend for a romantic date.
Really awesome experience
I made reservations two weeks in advance and when we arrived at the restaurant we had the worst seats. They sat the 4 of us at a table that was meant for two people. My friends were sitting on chairs while my husband and I were sitting on concrete right by the water edge totally ridiculous. I spoke to the manager who was so rude and obnoxious said there is nothing we can do there are no more tables available unless we want to sit inside which obviously you don’t hear the music or see the show then what’s the point of coming to this restaurant? When the food finally arrived it was a total disappointment. Oversalted and lack of flavour. Overall The only thing we enjoyed was the show.
Wow yum delicious love it
Very nice shadowed patio. Excellent food. You have to check bill, gratuities are included.
Tuna tacos-ridiculous
Truffle dumplings-ridiculous
Turkey club-very good
Ambience-spectacular for lunch
Service-efficient and professional
Would highly recommend for lunch
Great service awesome food and it is an amazing space!!
Excellent meal!
This restaurant could have been so much more if it wasn't for terrible service. We made our reservation on open table for 8pm on a Wednesday but when we got there, our table wasn't ready and they asked us to wait 20 minutes. They finally sat us down 40 minutes after our reservation time. The ambience was great, dim sexy lighting, live DJ with music at perfect volume. The menu has unique options and I was looking to try out different dishes. When our waiter got to our table, I asked him for some recommendations, but he said that he has "like 50 tables" and that if we are not ready he will come back. We did ask for drinks a few appetizers. When the waiter returned 10 minutes later he told us he did not put in our order for drinks and appetizers as he wanted to make sure we had a complete order. We ordered Truffle dumplings, braised duck and seabass. The food arrived 50 minutes later, all together. At no point did we see our waiter again to see if we wanted more drinks (we did) or that we wanted more food (we did). The food and drinks that we did get were delicious, but the terrible service left us with a sour taste.
The food was spectacular. Toss up between the Salmon or the SeaBass. Great flavors!
Service was lacking and diminished the experience of this unique restaurant.
Our server took order, then we didn’t see her again until we were done with dinner. Dinning assistants delivered food. Could have been a spectacular dinner...
This is one very beautiful and unique restaurant. If you're looking for ambiance and a very romantic setting, this is it! Great service, great food, great drinks and awesome music. Can't wait to visit Miami South Beach again and go back to Jaya.
Birthday lunch
The server was not very knowledgable with champagnes and wine we ordered.
We asked for a Rose champagne and he came back with just a Rose wine, or maybe was out of stock of Rose champagne. Then we tried to order a very nice bottle of red and were out of stock of several we asked for. We kept sticking out with drinks. It was disappointing because it was a birthday dinner and this is a high end restaurant that we would expect quality high end service. The food and ambiance were good.
Unbelievably poor experience. We arrived 5 minutes early, at 8:40pm. There was a line of 8 people to check in. We were told to wait and that the table would be ready soon. At 9:15 we still hadn't been seated and the incredibly rude host lady basically barked at us to stay waiting in the crowed, non COVID friendly waiting area. Eventually we got seated 45 minutes later. The food was fine to good. The prices were high, but fine for Miami. The service was horrible and the host should be fired.
Very cool space. Too bad the food was not that good (way over-sauced). The music was so loud it was really tough for our 4some to have a conversation. But the worst of all was the service. it was a 3 hour dinner (no way we were going to wait longer to order and receive desert). It took 25 mins to get water, another 15 to get drinks and who knows how long for dinner. After we were all obviously done eating we finally asked a second person to clear our table. Never going back.
Excellent. Service by Amala! The drinks were heavenly! The food was very good but being Asian ourselves we expected more spice or flavoring - overall very good but a little pricey ! Ambience was amazing! Beautiful decor and the DJ was the best mixer! Will definitely go again!
