Amazing atmosphere, food and service. Must go next time your in south beach!
I was in Jaya for Valentine's Day and it was a amazing experience, the food was delicious, great presentation and delicious taste, live Jazz music was excellent.
It was a beautiful scenery and enjoyed the music and food.
We went for lunch. It was so good, we went back for dinner. The best Penang curry ever. The outside courtyard is gorgeous.
We went there to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and aske to sit "outside" in the covered courtyard. I was beautiful with a reflecting pond surrounded by tables which were not on top of each other. The service was impeccable and friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Food was very good. Husband ordered the tuna ceviche and sea bass tikka which he thought were both quite tasty. My colleague had the chicken tikka and salad (dressing was spot on), and my daughter and I had a paneer kofta dish which was flavorful. We started with the chive mushroom dumplings which were good, but nothing to write home about. We shared veg pad Thai for the table, also very good but wish it had more veggies mixed in. The homemade chili oil is great.
We went on a Friday night and they had a fire dancing and aerial show which were fantastic around 9pm.
Ambiance, decor and food were all very good. Service was extremely slow and prices are on the higher end given location.
We love dining here. The food is always good and the staff are wonderful. This time, not much worked out well. Other than a perfect Peking Duck, all else was not nearly up to Jaya’s standards.
Staff were not attentive, did not know their menu. They were not rude by any means but also not sincere and kind as in the past.
Wonderful food. Well worth the visit. Make sure to sit in the Atrium
unbelievable ambiance for the Sunday jazz brunch. This is a super upscale affair that is great for special occasions ($95 per person for all you can eat and drink ). The food was superb and the buffet selection was great. Highly recommend for those looking for an upscale celebratory brunch meal.
I went on a Sunday for brunch, it’s always an upscale classy spot. Nice for photos and the food is great, with variety. I’ll definitely be going back.
Beautiful place! Nice service! And yummmy food! ❤️
Just love it.
Modern, elegant restaurant in The Setai. Sophisticated ambiance. The service was efficient. Food was very good. We enjoyed the tuna tartar, truffle dumplings, beef gyoza & crispy grouper. The grouper was awesome. Truffle dumpling were incredibly delicate, yet flavorful. Wine by the glass reasonably priced. Milk & honey dessert was surprisingly delicate & delicious. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Beautiful location. Refined Asian food with a perfect service
I was treated to brunch for my birthday. The food, service, ambiance and music were all outstanding! I loved every sip and bite I took. I can’t think of a better restaurant in Miami to have brunch, and I’ve been to many.
The food is very good. The sommelier knows their business, great cocktails and drinks and ambiance is great... but the service is out of this world.
The service and the setting were outstanding - the atmosphere in the covered outdoor area is serene with a low noise level and very open area with high ceilings and a pond in the center surrounded by well spaced tables to create a very private feeling in a public space. The staff were attentive and friendly and provided excellent service without intruding on the dining experience. Lastly and most importantly, the food was excellent in quality and presentation.
Best restaurant in Miami!
Best food I’ve had this year! Great DJ!
Second dinner here. Returned as solo diner and was very taken care of. Greeted by hostess with a smile and she escorted me to great table outside. Service was very good. Manager even recognized it was my second visit and touched table. Thank you. I was happy I came back !
Was unable to process open table credit after three times of trying.
Gorgeous design, flavorful dishes, excellent service!
Best Peaking Duck in Miami! The ambiance, food, food service and cocktails were superb. Loved sitting outside in the atrium. Highly recommend for a quiet romantic date night dinner.
Order the duck and the sea bass.
Beautiful courtyard setting and the grouper curry was outstanding.
Horrible! From service to noise level to qualify of food- it was meant to be a celebration of my son’s birthday and we were totally disappointed. Will definitely not recommend, will definitely never coming back!
It was great. However my friend asked for no mushrooms on his entree and the request was ignored
We had a reservation at Jaya a couple of days ago and it was by far one of the best restaurants in Miami we had the pleasure to dine in.
The ambiance is extraordinary and I am profoundly impressed by the way the whole space was designed. More than just a dining experience it was a relaxing environment that elevated the entire evening to a whole new level of excellence. We were very pleased with the service, food quality and presentation.
The deserts are exquisite, delicious culinary masterpieces, very beautifully executed and refined taste.
My family and I are looking forward to return to Jaya at the Setai.
We were recommended this restaurant and the food was good, although small portions for the price. The service was the worst I have ever witnessed.
The hostess was very rude and made us wait over 30 min for a table I had reserved. It was my birthday celebration with my grandmother who is disabled. We had to wait outside for too long after making a reservation. She said 10 min wait which was ok. But that turned to 30 min. And when I asked her about the table she was very rude and pointed to it instead of showing us to the table. Horrible treatment. I even said hi to my buddy Dave Grumman at the bar he saw me waiting for so long for a table. Extremely disappointed after coming here for years.
Excelente restaurant /hotel. Impecable service!
The Setai remains one of the coolest and best run high-end hotels in the world. Quality food, wine and service in a stylish contemporary environment - I love it. Haven’t been there for 4 years but fresh as ever and so classy.
The service was slow and the staff not friendly at all.Disaapointed
The food was very good but the service wasn’t up to the standard as you would expect from a restaurant this expensive. It might have to do with the fact that 20% tip is automatically added to the check.
This place has a wonderful ambience and great service. Food is too pricey for what they serve.
I have been going often and bring many friends, Arrived early, Disappointed
;( Waited over 1hour for a table, Went for the Duck and was sold out, Also other items where sold out.
Ambiance & Show was great.
We had a wonderful experience. Food was amazing, service was great
Have enjoyed Sunday brunch there and went back with friends for a Friday night dinner. We were all extremely disappointed. We waited a very long time for our entrees and was told be the maitre d that there was a delay in the kitchen and he then asked if we would like to enjoy more wine while we waited. The implication being it was complimentary due to the wait. Well, it was not. My entree, the poached chicken was beyond mediocre, it came with 2 sauces and still had no flavor whatsoever. Everyone else felt the same about there dishes, the one thing we did enjoy, the short rib dumplings.
Must do when in Miami. Loved the Sea Bass Tilka and Thali. Glad the portions were not too small. Wine selection was good.
Did not know it was a special holiday menu that was quite different from the standard menu. Food was good, but not exceptional. Music was extremely loud. Service was fair. Very disappointed.
It was Christmas and the menu was limited. But nevertheless...we were excited to be there. It's beautiful, and a pleasure to be in the gorgeous inside/outside paradise. I'm a travel writer, and was anxious to see and taste what I had heard about Jaya. The service was abhorrent. Really bad. We literally had no service, and twice had to ask a bus boy to get our waiter. At one point, the waiter actually forgot what we had ordered. Oh well. A disappointment...but perhaps we'll try again sans the disconnected waiter, and the holiday.
I visited for dinner on Christmas Eve and there were a trio of carol singers who sang at each table in turn - such a lovely idea and it made the experience even more special.
Service was delightful and the food faultless.
