Most innovative seafood menu in Denver with the best music and cocktails!! Every dish is always delicious!
Thoroughly Enjoyed !! Excellent seafood as well as excellent service !
We were visiting Denver from SW Colorado and wanted a good seafood restaurant. Jax's was our favorite restaurant on the trip. They accommodated all our food allergies without a problem. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They went out of their way to make sure everything was great and it was. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food. Great service. Always try something new. Ready to go back.
It was a little crowded but the service, food, and drinks were great.
Never fails to satisfy! Food is awesome and great specialty cocktails. Cherry Creek location is the best!!!
We were so happy with the food and service here. We started with 2-3 dozen raw oysters, and as a person from the seaside I was so happy with how they tasted! Our guests loved their food, and the drinks too!
Food was really not that good for the price. We were there for brunch; they offer a bottomless crab deal. Don’t bother going for that unless you want to waste your money. It’s $50 for 1 pound of crab legs with 5 sides. With that much food you can’t share it with one other person even if you get another entree. The server suggested that if it’s too much just don’t get all of the sides. I don’t know why you wouldn’t get everything included in the meal. Anyway, I don’t know how much they think 1 or 2 people can eat, but they acted like we were going to eat them out of crab legs. We were there for a birthday, and they really didn’t acknowledge that at all. The drink were really weak. Overall it’s not a place I plan on returning to.
Service and food were very good! Crab omelette delicious.
Our server was very efficient and pleasant!
High top tables awkward and chairs very hard uncomfortable for a 2 hour brunch get together.
Also seated right in front of kitchen food pick up area...where 4 times plates were dropped and or broken and loud voices interrupting our conversation. I will know what to request next time when I make a reservation!
We love the place. The food is great. You need to pay attention to the price of the cocktail you order.
The martini was perfect and wonderful. Appetizer was exceptional.. The main course for both my husband and I were subpar at best. We are both foodies and love food. I normally do not do unfavorable reviews but we both did get sick that night.
Had a really enjoyable date! Sandier was so gracious and kind and attentive. I will be back thanks!
Jax never disappoints. The food, the service, the atmosphere, are always spot on. I highly recommend the calamari, (try it with the rice flour). Truly you will not go wrong with any of the dishes.
Although there was a glitch with our Open Table reservation, we were seated at the bar while we waited for a table. The handcrafted cocktails were excellent and we enjoyed our meal. The menu had good variety, the food was well presented and the decor added to the dining experience. Didn't care for the paper and crayolas on a table for two, however.
Great food and service. Glade we went there. It was close to our lodging and easy to make reservations with the use. Of “Open Table”. Great experience all the way around.
Great flavors in the food. Just good food.
I wish I could live at Jax! Their oyster selection is always top notch. If you haven’t tried their Emerson oysters you haven’t experienced life at its finest.
Great food , great staff . A very fun place for any occasion.
Tony knows his oysters and is a hell of nice guy.
Best seafood dinner I’ve had in Denver in quite a while. I’ll be back.
I made a reservation for my dad's Birthday at Jax and wrote a special request that it was his birthday not knowing if they would have anything special for the occasion. We were promptly seated after arriving even though our full party wasn't with us. The table was a little cramped in the corner by the hostess station, which I thought was going to bother us more... the place is rather small and they know how to pack-em-in. Our server was wonderful and really knew how to elaborate on the taste of each menu and drink item.
We all ordered a wide variety from the menu and there wasn't a morsel in sight when we were done. They eve brought out a key lime pie with a candle for my dad (and didn't make a huge deal about it- because he would have been mortified). All in all it was a very good meal. My one suggestion would be to make sure that people could get out of their seat to use the bathroom without making another table move their seats... apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food.
We will have to come back for the brunch!!! It sounded incredible.
Great happy hour!
Great menu and service! Always great menu options for our entire family.
We dine at Jax frequently for early weeknight dinners. Food and service is always first class.
Sunday we went at 4:00 p.m. and were seated in the front dining room. the music was much louder than normal and we asked if it could be turned down. rather than turning it down we were invited to move to the back dining room. apparently the server had not come on duty yet for that section.
we waited 15 minutes to get our drinks from the bar and received spoty service for the rest of the meal. the food was very good.
management needs to know and maintain the usual high level of service and food.
Bottomless crabs were hot juicy and fat. Biscuits were hot out of the oven every time. I will be returning 100%!
I love this place Incredible seafood, great service, great atmosphere. One of my very favorite restaurants!
Good food and good service.
We like that we can go low-end or high-end and still have a nice seafood dinner in an upbeat environment.
Good happy hour, nice vibe, and friendly, efficient service. Solid go-to option and one of the better seafood options near Cherry Creek.
Really enjoyed the good company and location
Great atmosphere, great food, great service! Perfect portions, one of a kind. Highly recommend! Great for a date! :)
As expected, good quality food at a fair price. Little too much ice on cocktails but still a go d experience.
Love the happy hour menu. Next time I want to try the white sangria. Spicy tuna is pictured. Sometimes the food varies, perhaps due to who the cook is that night. I think this is a good thing.
Not bad for the price. Will be back for the Monday happy hour.
Birthday brunch. Everything was excellent from the food to the staff.
We were a group of 20 and whoever ordered the Bottomless Crab Brunch had to wait at least 15-20 minutes to receive the other 1/2 lb of Dungeness / Snow Crabs. The crabs were NOT steaming hot, they were cold. The side dishes were not impressive. The grits were not good at all. For $48.00 you would think that you would have more options for the side dishes. I will NOT recommend friends for the Sunday Brunch. Michael our server did his best, but still the service was not up to par. Also, we had a friend with us who is allergic to seafood and was specific when she ordered and still received a dish with seafood. She had to leave immediately.
It was much better than it was before. They extended the menu quite a bit and had many more choices. It was very good this time and will definitely be back. Especially love the deck up on top!
Great Seafood and the service was excellent! We went during restaurant week and they had great options off the regular menu.
The food was delicious and our servers were all friendly. The crab cake is my favorite. We also had the key lime pie dessert which was outstanding, and you make the best old fashioned cocktail.
It was so noisy that my Friend & I could not hear ourselves talk. I would recommend it or a decent fish dish. None of the above choices would apply. Our waitress was great
What a perfect evening! My swordfish was beautifully prepared and plated with a creative melody of vegetables. The baramundi complimented the bouillabaisse and tasted wonderful. Don't forget to order the key lime pie that arrived deconstructed on the plate. A fun time with delicious array of dishes.
We love coming to Jax! Every time we go there are new items on the menu. Their side dishes are unique and tasty. I had a king crab noodle dish that was to die for. The noodles were done just right with a bit of texture and chewiness and a sauce that was filled with extra goodness. I could have eaten an entire plate more! Honestly, the crab was not the show of that dish although there were nice big bites of it. My husband had the adult ramen and loved it. The diverse flavors made it one of his favorites at Jax. They oysters on the half shell are always delightful and we sampled three very different kinds. They allow a mix and match which makes it a fun experience. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and there was a live performer that made the entire evening very special.
