Parties for 10 - 150 people. Jasper's Corner Tap & Kitchen offers semi-private dining as well as private banquet rooms on the Mezzanine Level.
View Private Dining DetailsFood was very good and they were able to accommodate a large party quickly.
I normally would give a better review but I found the bun in my burger very stale
We wanted to try a new place in The City and Jasper's was around the area where we were going to. It would be considered a hole in the wall even though it's located on the corner. If you know The City and the location, you wouldn't expect this restaurant to be where it's at, but it probably attracts folks from the surrounding hotels. We we're going for lunch but they were serving from their Brunch Menu. We ended up ordering their flight of mimosa. It is a bottle of champagne and three different puree of fruits and the traditional orange juice. It was nice to experiment with the different flavors as well as mix the flavors. We also ordered the poutine. That was a good side to order and share. The cheese was a bit much, but the shredded beef and sauce had good flavor. Would like to visit Jasper's again and order from either the lunch or dinner.
Nice corner restaurant with good service. Limited menu and somewhat pricey.
Food isn’t great .. the deviled eggs are awful avoid !! Burgers are fine but charging $4.00 for a slice of avocado is highway robbery
I had the Cobb Salad which was large and fresh but not particularly memorable. My son enjoyed his salmon and the brussel sprouts. Overall, it was a solid meal and we had no complaints at all but probably would not go out of our way to eat here next time we are in San Francisco. We made a mistake in sitting at a table in the bar area (with hard bar stools) when there were many available tables further into the restaurant that would have been more comfortable. We didn't realize there was more seating than we could see from the entrance until after our food had arrived.
Great experience at Jasper's, solid food and attentive staff!
Great food! Creative cocktails! Nice server and host. Skip the Chocolate Lava Cake, but definitely order the Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet!
Took us 15 min for somebody to seat us, then after 20 min of nobody coming to our table, we left. As we were leaving, a member of the staff tells us that they are understaffed and they can't serve us today.
Lovely people but the place is a little random. Not really a sports bar and not really a restaurant - not really sure what it is. Some good beers on tap though. Would go there for a drink but not more.
The staff were very attentive and gracious, without being too much. I asked for a quiet table and that's just what we got.
Nice atmosphere
Great Breakfast
Excellent Eggs Benedict
Delicious burger and fries! Highly recommend eating here.
As many other have said, our 6 dinners came out at different times. One was skipped completely.
Apparently the confusion is not limited to the kitchen. I have two charges pending. Hopefully they will catch their error before I have to dispute the bill.

Everything was edible but it was a mistake to go here. I made the mistake of ordering a steak, asked for it medium-rare and got a well done steak. I sent it back and the next one was chewy as well, I made the mistake of ordering steak. Everything else was mediocre too, I was surprised this restaurant could serve this quality of food in San Francisco. I suspect it's only in business due to tourists that come by for beer. I was underwhelmed and so was everyone else in the party. I would have been more satisfied grabbing street food.
Everything was delicious.
SO MANY BETTER OPTIONS IN SAN FRANCISCO!
We were in town for vacation and made a reservation here a couple of weeks in advance for our family's Christmas Eve dinner. We were very disappointed.
Right from the beginning, the host wanted to seat us at a table in the bar area where it was quite loud. He seemed "put out" that we asked him to arrange for another table in the back/main part of the restaurant. We were surprised at this reaction as we had made our reservation well in advance and the place wasn't nearly full when we arrived...or when we were finished for that matter. He did accommodate us away from the bar area by squeezing our family of 5 into a 4 person booth (thank goodness 2 of our children are still pretty small). Still being on east coast body time, we were hungry and agreed to take the booth.
The most disappointing aspect of our visit to Jasper's, though, was that the waitress and kitchen staff didn't seem to have any interest at all in working with us to try and accommodate 2 of our children that have severe food allergies. Surely, we are not the only people to have requested special food prep accomodations at Jasper's. A relatively common thing these days.
Finally, the bottle of red wine my wife and I ordered was warmer than room temperature when it arrived at the table. I can't believe the waitress even delivered it to us. We should have sent it back, but didn't because our waitress was nowhere to be found for quite a while right after she brought it and opened it for us...I shouldn't have, but I did tip my typical 20 percent because, afterall, it was Christmas.
We would not consider a return to this restaurant on future trips to San Francisco.
AGAIN, SO MANY BETTER OPTIONS!
We were looking for a place to grab a quick dinner after a show at the Curran. I found this on Open Table and we decided to give it a try. Although we had a reservation, they would only seat us in the bar area which was not ideal but worked out in the end. There were several large tvs playing football games so the noise level was louder than normal. We ordered several small plates that were terrific - deviled eggs/ pretzel with 2 sauces/ and the fries with poutine. We also shared some dinner items that were good as well. It was not what we had expected but our server was very helpful and the food was worth another visit some time.
There were 10 of us on a December Sunday. We had play tickets at 2. The food was delicious, service friendly and fast. We are locals and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this for any occasion.
Great breakfast, good service, good food. We’ll go back.
our food was good, however it came out in three different time frames. As a party of five, three of us received our food, 10 minutes late the fourth received their food, and finally after asking twice our last member of our party received her food as the four of us were all finished. The fifth meal was comped, however, we will not be returning to Jaspers.
Service is sub par. Charchuterie was great. Would probably not go back.
Food was good - breakfast. Service was ok but not pleasant or friendly
We tried Jasper's because it was close to the theater, and when we had passed by in the past it had been crowded. We were very disappointed in the food...mediocre at best. The beer list is excellent but that is the only thing going for this place!
We used to love going to Jasper's while out in the city. However, it's quality of food has dropped drastically, while the prices stayed the same. The cocktails were good but not very strong.
The food was great, and the atmosphere was nice. The only issue I had was that my food was brought out well before my dates food. I finished my meal and waited still before my date had his. I even ordered an appetizer before my date got his food but that came out well after my date finished his meal. Not sure why the food came out like that, especially when we ordered it at the same time in the beginning. That was irritating!
This restaurant is a Neighborhood Gem.
Creative food, great space, knowledgeable staff
Food was good as always, and we enjoyed the evening but the service was haphazard which is unusual there. I've been here a bunch of times and we kept having to flag our server. With this said, order the deviled eggs and the fried avocado!
Let me start by saying we came there for lunch and they only have brunch on the weekends so we didn't get to try some of the dishes we were looking forward to. They didn't have a hostess and the waiter who came by when came in just told us to go to the back, so seating could be kind of problematic when they get busy. We had the pretzel and cheese fondue which was ok. Though not much of a step up from a Trader Joe's pretzel roll. The Ceasar Salad was good, though the croutons were kind of plain and not interesting. The steak on the salad was cooked to the right temp and well seasoned. I had the turkey pesto sandwich with cranberry aioli. The sandwich was on olive bread and tasty. Though I couldn't taste the cranberry at all. Overall we would try them again (when it is off hours) but I can only give them a good rating.
Anniversary dinner. Food came out way over cooked. Sent it back and ordered something else. First waiter left to go home and didn't tell us and we suddenly had a waitress instead. She put in for the new order since the food was over cooked. Waited another 25 min for that. Order came our wrong ! Waited again for the food again. No apologies form the waitress. Overall horrible service and won't return. Not a great anniversary dinner !
One waitress and one cook, who was on break for 30 minutes. Also, several menu items were unavailable. Finished our cocktails and left.
I think the servers might have called in sick that day because they were clearly understaff.
Horrible lunch experience. Was seated in the restaurant when very few were there. Within minutes restaurant got crowded. After one hour my party still had not been served (3 Cobb salads).
Very slow service
Food and service were ok but nothing special.
Our service was incredibly slow. It took over 20 minutes for a cheese plate to come out. And we ordered Brussel Sprouts (that the waiter recommend) and never received them to the table.
It was hard to rate food because our party of 5 didn't stay. Despite having a reservation, we were told it was going to be a 15-20 minute wait. While we waited, we noticed that people were getting their food, but no one had utensils. It's hard to eat eggs Benedict without a fork or something. We saw a mother use her hands to pull out some scrambled eggs to feed one of her kids. Another patron had gotten up twice to find a server or any staff to get items. As we were just about to leave (3 from our party had actually already walked out) we were told that our table was ready. We said we weren't staying, and as we walked out, a guy at a nearby table told us that we were making the right decision. I felt bad for all of the patrons there.
The best thing the restaurant has going for it is that it's close to the theaters. We went for brunch before a Sunday matinee. There were very few people in the restaurant, but still our food came barely warm. Ordered the eggs Benedict with spinach...nothing special here. Eggs seemed to have been cooked ahead of time and over cooked, at that. Hollandaise sauce was rather bland. Oddly, even though there were plenty of empty tables and no one waiting for a seat, service was rushed...waiter tried to clear my friend's plate as she was still eating. Very odd. I expect more from a downtown restaurant.
It was a disappointing visit. We showed up about 2 minutes prior to our reservation time. Despite several staff walking around and getting ready for the dinner rush, no one paid attention to us. Finally the bartender walked out from behind the bar to seat us. He told a server that he was seating us and she made that "not in my area" face. He sat us with another server. After a while, our server came over and took our order. The pretzel and hot wings appetizers were both very good. The drinks were fine. The fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy was fine. The biscuit was clearly nuked because by the time I tried to eat it, it was a puck. The fish and chips were passable. I would not eat there again or recommend it. I understand the restaurant caters to tourists (they are unlikely to see ever again), but at least try. Please.
