We were shown to our seat with the confirmed reservation. We waited 15 mins for a member of staff to take our order but despite the restaurant being relatively quiet, nothing happened. So we left. Laughable establishment.

Food was overpriced and not good. My simple salad had old tomatoes and few beets. Water was warm. Deviled eggs very salty and fish and chips soggy. Only 3 other people in the restaurant and took along time to get our food.

Bad service and food was not very good. Waitress took order wrong, but waist of time to argue. Just paid the bill and left. Our party was 20 total and everyone was not happy!

Schéana waited on us and she was extremely efficient and personable. Sandwiches were good but a little difficult to eat as they fell apart. They were still delicious though! Gréât neighborhood pub!

I was in town for a conference and had heard good things about Jasper's. I decided to give the fish & chips a try. The chips were plentiful, and while the fish was light and crispy, they had to have been the thinnest pieces of fish I've ever seen. There just wasn't much fish to them, unfortunately. The staff was fabulous - attentive, but not hovering. I'd give them a try again if I'm in town but maybe order something else.

Get together with an old friend. It was fairly empty and quiet so easy to talk and catch up. Although the menu seemed very protein, heavy, we had very tasty vegetarian dishes. The portions were very large and satisfying, and we left a very full.

Not a great experience at all. It took 70 minutes to bring out 3 salads and 1 bowl of soup. When ordering, we were warned the kitchen was backed up so it would be 20-25 minutes to get our food. If they had told us 70 minutes, we would have left. We had to run around the restaurant to ask for water and finally after waiting for our bill for 15 minutes after asking, we finally walked to the bar and begged the bartender to close us out. And on top of that, one of the salads was missing the protein and 3 main ingredients, including dressing. When I asked for the missing main ingredients, I was brought a plate of 2 random items not in the salad in the first place. Other tables were chasing down waiters as well, and cancelling orders of food just get out of there. Leaving 2 stars instead of 1, because there were only 2 waiters for the entire restaurant. Don't go here.

Experience was very disappointing for breakfasts that were $20+ each. I was sent the wrong order and had to wait a while for the right food to arrive. No bill adjustments were made. My husband had the chicken and waffles and while the chicken was piping hot, the waffles were stone cold. The “bitcoin bacon” which was described as extra thick with a glaze and chili flakes was no thick slabs of pork belly, all fat, barely cooked. We couldn’t really eat it. $70 for a very disappointing breakfast for two.

We arrived 10 minutes before our scheduled reservation time, and were ignored for about 15 minutes. When someone finally acknowledged us, she said there would be a 30-minutes wait. I told her we had a reservation, and she said “I need to talk to the manager,” and then left us alone for another 15 minutes. She walked past us several times without even looking in our direction. Finally, about 35 minutes after our reservation time, another server waved to us from the back of the restaurant to come sit down. No apology, no explanation. In the meantime, two other parties entered the restaurant, were ignored, and left without dining. The food was average, definitely not worth the price. And our server forgot to place my boyfriend’s drink order. Definitely will not be returning.

The worst. My daughter and I went to Jasper’s after seeing a wonderful play down the street. Please see key points: 1) It took about 30 minutes for my coffee to arrive. I had to ask twice. First time my waitress said it’s on the way. Second time someone who I think was a manager brought coffee and was very pleasant and apologetic. 2) It took 45 minutes for just our appetizers to come. Truffle fries which were cold and cornbread that was burnt! We were a party of two. A part of 4+ that arrived after us got their food first. Of course we had a reservation 3) Main meal was fish and chips which was good. It took probably an hour to get this. 4) Our waitress checked on us zero times! Not one time to tell us our food was on the way, not one time to apologize for the insane wait time, not once to see how the food was. When I asked about my coffee, I had to physically get up to ask leaving my 6 year old alone at the table. 5) I’d also like to add, they weren’t busy at all. We got there late afternoon and when we ordered, we were pretty much the only diners there. They need to do better! I left a tip because times are tough but it wasn’t deserved. I wrote them a note on the receipt stating the tip wasn’t deserved and listed my issues like I did above.

Sorry to see that restaurants are still short-staffed. Although Jasper was experiencing a staff shortage, the staff who showed up did their best to give everyone great service. The food was great!

We had breakfast at Jasper's. The food was not good. I got the eggs benedict and the sauce was a cold, congealed glob. My husband said his breakfast burrito was ok. It was a pricey meal and the quality just wasn't there.

We enjoyed our meal at Jasper’s very much. The food was delicious, quite a variety from which to choose. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and efficient. The only problem was a VERY loud table behind us. It was difficult to carry a conversation at our table with the noise behind us. Of course, this is not the restaurant’s fault, but ruined the ambiance. Luckily, they finished and left as our meals were brought to the table. I would definitely return to Jasper’s.

Randomly found Jasper's while on vacation and it was perfect! Great menu with vegetarian options (huge plus for me if there's something besides a salad lol). Got the beyond meatball sub and it was so yum!! A awesome beer selection with many local taps. Multiple TVs if you're looking to catch a game. Overall great value and experience :)

Breakfast with Mimosa's before a matinee play at the Golden Gate. Nice people, good service and my Avocado toast was wonderful. My son's Chicken & Waffles were good, not great. Some interesting menu choices that we will come back to try...looking forward to the upcoming brunch menu as well. I liked that there is a reasonable parking garage right next door

Seven of us went to celebrate completion of our Half Dome hike in Yosemite. It was intended to be a special celebration. The terrible service we received diminished our enjoyment considerably. Server was inattentive even though the restaurant was very slow at 7:30 p.m. on a Sunday night. She disappeared for extended periods and much of the service was delivered by her co-workers. Seven entrees were delivered and I waited several minutes until I went looking for mine, the seventh. To add insult to injury, the restaurant charged an 18% gratuity for our party of seven. Ordinarily, that's not a problem, but the service did not warrant such a gratuity. The food was fair to good, probably worth 3 to 4 stars. Poor service was the downfall of Jasper's.

We arrived for lunch and were told that we had to order off the brunch menu. We did not want brunch and considered going somewhere else, until the waiter came over with lunch menus. The beer battered fried cheese curds were very good, but the rest of the meal was so-so. My niece's Cesar salad dressing had a weird sweetness to it, my daughter's ketchup was spicy, and my sister's chicken sandwich was just OK. Our booth was in the direct sun and the shades could not be pulled down. When I questioned a server about this he just shrugged and walked away. Later the manager helped us move to another table. I had the mahi mahi tacos which were good, but a bit spicy.

The food is average here but they have a good beer range (not so much wine). I would recommend the Radler (like a shandy). It was very quiet but it meant we got a nice booth at the back with a street view. Service was good. I probably won't come back any time soon as the food was nothing special but it's a convenient option if you are going to a theater nearby.
