First time eating out together in 15 months and it was excellent!
Absolutely horrible . Waited for 45 minutes even with a reservation. Sat and watched as at least 25 to30 people left in disgust. People waited an hour just to get drinks and little to no food service. They were obviously way under staffed and a decent management would have shut down letting additional customers in until they fed those that had reservations. Be a long time until we return. Left and went to Phil’s where we were seated and served both drinks and dinner within 20 minutes.
Way understaffed. Food not great. Will wait quite a bit before trying it again.
It was so nice to be outside at the Jarrettown. The musician was wonderful. The food was excellent. The drinks were perfect. It took a bit to be waited on due to being short staffed but once we were, our Server could not have been better. Overall, wonderful night with good friends!
Everyone has the same special lunch. It was large and delicious.
Food was excellent, staff friendly, nice evening outdoors. Will be back again.
We had a great dinner with our friends, and there was music as well. The food was really wonderful even though the portions on the salad with diver scallops was low in terms of the greens… But everything was really delicious and we will definitely return
Not bad but not great. Food was tasty but loaded with butter and sauce. Sat in bar area to watch baseball. Overheard staff saying they were understaffed in kitchen therefore there were significant delays. Saw a patron ask for his meal to be packaged to go because it took so long to come out. Also say kitchen staff come out and get hard liquor (not for cooking) beverages from the bar. Again, the experience was not horrible bur we probably will not be back. F
We had a reservation for 7. We arrived on time and the hostess told us we wouldn't be seated for at least 25 minutes because there were only 3 servers. We waited a bit and decided to sit at a table in the bar area. My husband tried to order drinks, and a patron eating her dinner at the bar told him he wouldn't get a drink because there was no bartender. We spoke with a woman who was waiting at 7;15 for a 6:30 reservation. We decided to leave.
I would have appreciated a call letting us know there were not encough staff.
A gem in Upper Dublin. Great food, fun drinks. Fabulous outdoor seating.
I made the mistake of ordering a burger at an Italian restaurant. I’ve been to Jarrettown many times and usually order pasta. Their specialty, italian food, is very good. They have a great menu. They were short on help so service was slow. The person who seated us was up front in letting us know the bartender is also the only waiter. We appreciated the hostess letting us know and therefore we were very understanding. All in all, it’s a great restaurant with a great atmosphere.
the food was great. We anticipated delays when we were told there was only 1 server, but she teamed nicely with the hostess and the other gentlemen and HUSTLED THEIR TAILS OFF. Quite impressive, and a nice reminder of quality service
Nice dinner outside. Live music was great. We even had a 20% off coupon.
We ate on the patio. The weather was perfect, the service was excellent. Live entertainment was fantastic. It was "normal" with no masks and felt so good!!
The food was delicious & a good value. Outdoor dining space is very pleasant. However, there was only 1 waitress for both outdoors& indoors. She did the best she could but we had to wait extended times for everything, especially the Bill.
Great! We had a great Mother’s Day brunch.
Heather our waitress was pleasant, efficient and puts a wonderful face on this restaurant. The table next to us was noisy and irritating but it did not take away anything from the restaurant itself.
Celebrated Mother’s Day with my mum for lunch. Outdoor patio was gorgeous! Food was fresh and full of flavor! Can’t wait to go back!
As we had a later lunch, the restaurant was not crowded, and our server Kelly allowed us time to enjoy our meal without any interruption. The meal was well prepared, served hot, and quite delicious. The restaurant has a large outdoor dining area for those who currently prefer not to dine indoors.
The kitchen was overwhelmed so the service was very slow. The waitresses said the restaurant didn't have enough help and their frustration didn't make for an enjoyable dining experience on a Saturday night
Great food, great service! Great time!
A really nice setting with excellent service. Appetizers were delicious. Entrees we’re good to very good. I’d go back for sure.
Great service and excellent food!
Lauren, our server, was a delight. The food was excellent. We will definitely return.
Met friends we hadn’t seen since beginning of Covid. Great outdoor experience, they are doing an excellent job! Will definitely go back!
One of my favorite places to lunch with friends. The outside seating is very comfortable. Love the Romaine and Scallop salad. And the service is always very good.
Best steak that Upper Dublin has to offer!
Delicious food. Great service. Kept us distanced. Did not rush us. Would definitely go back.
We had a reservation and were seated on time but at a table that was not setup. We waited over a half hour until we went back to hostess to ask for a waitress after servers just passed our table by. Luckily a very nice waitress said she would cover for our missing waitress. Food was mediocre at best. No vegan options available. Would not return.
16th anniversary family dinner
The restaurant was understaffed so everything ran slow. The porch area acoustics are pretty loud. Everything else was excellent.
The food and service is always great. It was nice to get out for the night. Tables were socially distanced.
fabulous service, good value. ate a table by the bar.
Felt very comfortable eating indoors. Great service and food, especially the crude platter of fresh seafood.
Great local place.
Sat in the middle dining room, which was very tight. Tables were on top of each other, could barely get through, to go to the restroom. One doorway out of the dining room was blocked by another table, which I’m sure wouldn’t pass inspection from the fire department. Made me very uncomfortable. Service was ok, could have been better, but understandable due to pandemic. Food was good, but barely warm. Disappointed this visit, and in no rush to come back.
Second time in two weeks I had lunch on the patio. Excellent service, delicious meal..
We were the only ones in the room. Went to dinner at 7PM and when we ordered coffee, we were told the place closed at 8PM. We were trying to catch up with friends although they let us stay till 9PM when they started turning out the lights
Jarrettown Inn is a local favorite with a wide selection of delicious entrees, appetizers and cocktails. We have tried several items on the menu including the Ahi Tuna, the Mediterranean Grouper, the Bolognese and dinner salads. The Italian Nachos are out of sight and a great happy hour plate. Their outdoor patio is open when weather permits and has a great vibe with all appropriate covid precautions in place. You will never be disappointed.
