Jardin – Encore at Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
I've eaten at several restaurants in the Wynn casino and have been pleased with them all... except this one. I'll spare the story, but the service was ok, and the food was not good. Everything we ordered was bland and boring. I ordered sea bass expecting a big filet and got a thin, flavorless piece with three tiny, undercooked, cold fingering potatoes. Shame such a nice place has such poor food.
Vegan dishes were limited but delicious. Buffalo cauliflower was a bit standard, but the homemade blue cheese was wonderful. The avocado and quinoa salad was a bright, fresh, and perfect starter. Spinach fettuccine with squash, roasted almonds, and vegan ricotta was delicious but over done by about 1.5 minutes. Pasta became a glued mass in the bowl since it pulled in the stock and sauce too much. Mixing it with the ricotta helped but it just needed a couple minutes less and about .25C more liquid. The ricotta stole the dish. We didn’t go for dessert and instead enjoyed some cocktails.
Not crowded when we arrived, but had excessive wait for drinks. When food came, my wife’s salmon & vegs were cold. Brief sorry & they took it back to be remade. By time it returned I had already finished my meal. Minimal apologies & no adjustment to bill left us very disappointed with no desire to ever return!
Amazing accommodating hostesses ensured that my date and I were seated at the most romantic seating area . Thank you.
. Luckily we are experienced fine diners and were not completely turned off by our server . From the start of the dialogue the server did not provide any recommendations and unfortunately did not have a professional attitude. When I enquirer what the star symbol on the means meant , she said you will get sick if you eat the hamburger half cooked . When I asked what she could tell me about the garden pizza , she said 'it's just vegetables, I don't really like it '.
Fortunately the opulence of the dining room , flavourful cuisine and intelligent diner companion trumped this servers attitude. We would have been twice as happy to have the hostess or busboy serve our food .
Our experience was exceptional in every way from from food to service to ambience. I had a wonderful melt-in-your-mouth fish from Hawaii - can’t recall the name - served with a carrot based sauce. I loved it as well as the lobster Mac & cheese side we ordered. Wines by the glass were reasonably priced, as was the meal.
Early dinner at Jardin didn't disappoint! We sat by a window with a view of the gardens and enjoyed good cocktails with a shared appetizer. The main course was well presented and very good as well. The restaurant is located away from the noise of the casino and provides a nice break from the hectic activities going on all around you. We recommend it.
We enjoyed our experience very much. We arrived an hour early and had martinis at the bar--with stuffed blue cheese olives! It was quiet so they even switched the bar TV to our favorite hockey team--even though it's basketball season. Stacey, the bartender was also a hockey fan, so very pleasant.
Ate dinner on the patio. It's very nice there and they have heaters so you do not need to worry about being cold. We had Grandma's meatballs for an appetizer. They were very tasty and flavorful. We enjoyed NY Steak (perfectly done to temperature) and sauteed brussel sprouts. Our waiter, Chuck was knowledgable and attentive, but also was sensitive to leaving us alone.
This restaurant is technically located in the Encore, but it is another wonderful dining experience by the Wynn.
We had a wonderful dinner at Jardin before the concert later that evening. The food was excellent, the surroundings were beautiful and the it was not crowded. It was exactly what I wanted; a place to relax, have a nice conversation with my wife and enjoy a great dinner. We'll remember to return again.
My fiance Kenton and I celebrated our anniversary and had Le Reve show to attend at the same evening. We only had about 45 minutes for dinning before the show. Our host was excellent by notifying our server Wayne of our short-time dinner. Wayne was extremely attentive and courteous. He noticed that Kenton was coughing (due to a cold). Wayne brought out a pot of warm water, a cup, a plate with fresh lemon and a jar of honey and said..."I notice you were coughing. Perhaps this may help ease your cough." Wow....both of us were jaw dropping of the politeness and attentive service that Wayne provided. Not only he brought our food out in time, Wayne often checked on us to see if we needed anything else. Wayne was very quick with handling us the bill for the night because of our time constraint. Everything Wayne did was way above and beyond his responsibilities. This is excellent service.
We left for the show without a chance to let the manager know. But we did come back after the show and met with a gentleman with an accent (just moved to Vegas 3 months ago taking on the management job at Jardin) in suit and tie who happened to be the manager for the night. This gentleman was extremely polite and chatted with us for a while regarding our positive comment about our experience at Jardin that night.
We left Jardin with a big smile because of the outstanding service that we did not expect to receive anywhere else, especially about the lemon/honey drink from Wayne. A little gesture goes a long way.
Thank you for having such outstanding staff and outstanding service. We will come back for sure.

2d visit in three months, reservation is a must!
Though the restaurant was not full, it took our waitress well over 20min to come over and say 'hello'; have not been for the bus by who served us coffee and juice we would have departed after 10min wait Rest of the service was at best - adequate and at worse - mediocre. While the service lacked, the food was exquisite and worth the wait! Breakfast omelette and crab cakes appetizers lived up to our exceptional wait, while the coffee actually tasted like one!
Food was not good! We went because the Country Clyb restaurant js.sadly now gone. Champagne was served at room temp or warmer, steak was tough and be service was just okay. Disappointing. We love SW Steakhouse but also want to eat in a more casual restaurant one of the nights. We will not try this again
As with all restaurants at the Wynn/Encore, the food is very good. The prices are very high, but the quality is there. The group I was with all enjoyed their meals. Most of us had beef. It was nice to see a prime rib on a menu and one of our guests from Germany had it and was very impressed.
This restaurant is not only incredibly romantic and beautiful but the food was delicious. We had the cheese board, filet and lobster Mac and cheese with the apple pastry for dessert. We loved every bite. The staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner out.
