Jardin – Encore at Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Went here for breakfast. Would not do it again. Restaurant is very pleasing - nice atmosphere. But the food is supposed to be the main event. My eggs were just okay, but the hash browns were very suspect. Looked and tasted like pre-frozen tater tots. You know the type. The kind you get at fast food places. Bacon was good, wheat toast was quite hard - didn't seem fresh. My wife had pancakes that were very dry and dense, and extra syrup did not help. She did not eat much of them. Terrace Point Cafe is a much better choice for breakfast.
Went to Jardin for dinner prior to the show. It is conveniently located near the Encore rooms. My filet steak tasted fine because of the sauce, but they were a bit stingy with that sauce. I have also had better pieces of meat, especially for something like $47 just for that entree. It was like 8oz, but parts of it I couldn't eat. It came on a small smattering of mashed potatoes. The side of broccolini was a bit tough and dry. Bad choice. My wife had fried chicken that she didn't care much for. Her side of green beans was apparently good. This place could be so much better, because of the location and the atmosphere. When you pay those prices, you expect to get good meals all the time. Not the case. The hotel restaurants are very inconsistent. Of the ones we have tried, my recommendations would be: The Country Club, Sinatra, Terrace Pointe Cafe, Tableau and Red8. Maybe Charlies for some grill food and the buffet if you go real early or late to avoid the massive lines. Avoid: Allegro, Jardin, and the SW Steakhouse. Have yet to try the others.
Wasn't impressed. Service was professional but somewhat impersonal. App of artichoke and feta dip with fresh veggies and toasted pita was best part of meal. Salmon was OK, nothing special, BUT the bed of cabbage it sat on left something to be desired! The 6 oz. filet was good but can get better ones at most steak houses. Bottle of Sauvignon Blanc was quite expensive--wine list extensive. Meal was OK but nothing memorable. Too many other better venues here in Vegas.
Beautiful place! Staff seems to rush you, they kept coming back to try and pick up my plate even though i still had half of my food left. When you ask for recommendations you don't get a good answer, twice i asked about a salad and both waiters responded with "its average or your typical salad" not helpful at all especially when they're suppose to be Forbes standards.
Underwhelming I can understand why they are doling out 1,000 point tables! We both had the $55 prix fixe menu. My steak, that I ordered Pittsburgh-style rare was medium-well. My wife’s BBQ chicken was BORING and I swear the BBQ sauce was simply Bulls-Eye. The only redeeming qualities were the amuse bouche and the salad and meatballs (first course). There are too many good restaurants on the Vegas strip you should pass this up.
Everything was first rate except a few service item. We arrived on time for our 6 pm reservation. We waited 15 minutes to be seated at a table that had been open all the time. Then 15 before we got to order. From then on things went as expected.
The staff seemed a bit hectic and overwhelmed, there were a number of large parties.
Yes,I would return and hopefully no shortfalls
Jardin, like many Vegas restaurants, tries very hard. And its food is okay. Like they didn't overcook their fish (which so many places do), but meanwhile the bed of rice beneath it was undercooked. While the pork loin was dry and saved only by its sauce.
Really, again like many Vegas restaurants, the atmosphere and location are what you're paying for.
Worst meal of our trip. Wade, our waiter, was lacking confidence as a server. He was nice but just no personality. The salmon my friend ordered had a taste of freezer burn, we sent it back. We had to fill our own prosecco glasses, the food was lackluster and our dirty dishes sat in front of us for 10 minutes. I talked to a manager, nice girl with long brown hair, about 25. She apologized and offered dessert but we declined. We weren't looking for a comp, just good service and a nice meal. Won't return.
For a high end restaurant the steak was over cooked (medium rare) but the appetizers were very good. Our waitress was inattentive and the drinks were mediocre. I expected so much more from the Wynn as their other restaurants have been stellar.
I get everyone has a bad day but this bad day cost me over 300.00 for something that was on par with Outback.
Beautiful ambiance, great service and delicious food will be yours when you dine at Jardin. We absolutely loved our dinner at Jardin. Our server Anthony was fantastic. He and several others made sure that our food was served to our liking and that we enjoyed our dining experience at Jardin. We will definitely dine at Jardin again.
Lovely restaurant with excellent food. Good options for appetizers and sides. I had the BBQ short rib which I would highly recommend. Sauce was excellent and just enough-didn't drown the meat. Meat melted in your mouth. Also had the mac and cheese bites and they were very good. Service was also excellent. Good wine 🍷 list
We went to Las Vegas for a one night stay to celebrate my husband's successful surgery and also his birthday. As we were traveling light, we wanted to celebrate in a more casual atmosphere, which was quiet, had great food and was beautiful. Jardin met the mark on all three and we had a delicious meal in a great location in the Encore Hotel. Our waiter was great and the meal was excellent. It's a beautiful place, formerly Botero and although that décor was wonderful, the restaurant is much lighter with huge gorgeous flowers. As we enjoy Wynn and Encore, Jardin will be another place we will visit often.
