   I recommend dining in this restaurant if staying at the Melrose Georgetown Hotel OR if visiting DC. It's worth the trip. No need to make reservations at any other restaurant if you're already lodging there. Jardenea is a best-kept secret in DC dining. Although, maybe not such a secret...

   Staff was very friendly, on point with service and knew their job well. The food was amazing from beginning to end. Drinks were flavorable and not watered down. Top notch quality service, well with your money spent.

   Jardenea was hidden off the lobby of the Melrose Georgetown Hotel in Washington DC, and didn't really look like an actual restaurant, more than a collection of tables, but the food was delicious. It was President's Day, so the hotel and the restaurant was very quiet. The bartender at the lounge was very friendly and helpful, and let the waitstaff at Jardenea know my companion was running late for our reservation, and transferred my cocktail over to the restaurant bill. If you are staying at the Melrose, I recommend Jardenea.

   Food and our waiter were very good but we had to wonder where management was as we waited to be greeted to be seated.

   Always enjoy Jardenea. Rotating seasonal menu with 4 meat and 4 fish options. Brussels sprout appetizer and crab cake appetizer great to share. I tried veal cheeks, large portion very tender meat. Sea bass and salmon both excellent as well. Quiet, great for conversation. Service was excellent as always.

    The staff meant well, but the delivery was poor. I appreciated their efforts with putting together an attractive menu, but the slow service really left us wanting more.
