   I love Jane for their vanilla bean french toast! My husband and I came specifically for it this time. The flavor was still good, but it was overdone. The edges were rather hard to chew. But I know it’s not usually like that so I would still go back.

   Took at least 10 minutes to even get a drink order, not crowded at all for a friday night at 8:00.

   Quite disappointing! The famous French toast had deteriorated in quality - not soaked through, not cooked through, not even warm. Been with Jane since it opened, am now afraid to recommend to friends & out of town guests as I’ve done in many years.

   I went to Jane with my friend to catch up for brunch. The food was yummy, I had the mushroom omelette and a passion screwdriver. I had been there before for brunch and was happy. That is why I came back. Overall very good experience

   Jane is always great! The scene is lively and the food is always good. It's a sister restaurant to Sarabeth's and they have high standards for both service and food quality.

   Great spot for brunch! Food is good and filling. Pastries are fresh. Service is spot on. It's popular so I'd recommend reservations since it gets crowded. Good for families, groups, dates.

   We were lookong for an iconic NYC brunch experience and overall found Jane a bit flat. The staff were pleasant but almost over polite that came across as slightly insincere. We love to try local specials and were lookong forward to the Jane Benedict but were left very disappointed. The crab cake was dry and over salted and tasted like it was made last week. I am not sure the salad leaves added anything. The Bloody Mary's were ok. The decor was tired. The prices were high. The only positive was my husband thought the devilled eggs were well presented and very tasty. It basically came across as a restaurant used to being busy from reputation without the experience to match. We had some awesome food experiences in NYC that weekend in several small unpretentious places and Jane was a huge disappointment in comparison.

   Great food and very accommodating. Was able to substitute a part of my meal due to a dietary restriction with no problems at all. Server was very friendly and attentive.

   Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. My mother uses a walker so I asked for a table with "wheelchair access" when I placed the reservation, and they put us at the perfect table right in front. We asked for multiple menus, we were indecisive on food selections, my father joined us halfway through the meal - all of these things could be inconvenient for the servers but they were incredibly responsive and helpful. It was a great meal from start to finish - 10 stars!
