Brunch is chaotic and loud but fun. Food is normal brunch food. Be warned - there's a wait and a line even with a reservation.

Great brunch. A little pricey for an omelette but good.
Great service
Pastry basket was amazing.
Fun lively atmosphere-a bit cramped but typical for NYC.
Worth trying.

Went to Jane for lunch this week. The wine list is very impressive. The service was just wonderful. And our food was delicious. My wife and I both had different steak dishes and they were both excellent. We had a great lunch at Jane. Definitely will be back.

just average. I think the prices unfortunately reflect where it’s located. So,I guess, be prepared to spend $25+ on an entree that would be >$20 elsewhere..nothing wrong w food or preparation..just price.

Pastry Basket (Good) - Sticky Buns (Very Good) - Jane Burger (OK)

American Menu - Atmosphere was good - Food was ok, not great - Service was massively disappointing - Similar type restaurant to the Smith and if you have to choose, choose the Smith every time - Bloody Mary (OK - lacking garnishes and strength) - Waiter forgot to brings sides we ordered, we did not bring it to his attention - Was not very attentive at all - The burger sounded good on the menu, but ended up being a very boring burger - overall we were all massively disappointing besides the sticky buns - would not go back

I found Jane incredibly disappointing. It was absolutely heaving and overcrowded to the point of uncomfortable. The food was fine but nothing special. It was completely unremarkable.

We we’re pleasantly surprised with our experience at Jane. Last minute dinner plans on Saturday night limited our options so we were just happy to find a table in our neighborhood. But the evening turned out great! Lovely atmosphere, good food and quiet enough to have a conversation. We would definitely go back

Good place. Food was not bad, but certainly not all that its hyped up to be. Definitely not a bad place, but would rather brunch elsewhere next time I'm down in the village for brunch. Good service though!

I have come to Jane several times and love their French toast. As soon as we were seated we were informed that the delivery truck hadn’t arrived so they weren’t able to make the French toast. I was extremely disappointed but found something else that I was satisfied with.

It’s usually very loud as the tables are very close to each other so you can’t help but hear your neighbors’ conversations. This particular morning, however, one of the waiters was cursing so loudly at one of his coworkers that everyone could hear it. It went on for several minutes and started in the back but when the coworker tried to walk away into the bar area in the restaurant,he was followed by more cursing. Very unprofessional and disturbing to hear when you’re trying to enjoy your brunch.

A group of us went here after a show knowing that we could still get a good meal even after 9p. The service was friendly and knowledgable and the food was spectacular as always. They even tempted us to get dessert - we practically ordered one of everything.

Service was slow. Waited over an hour after ordering and people who were seated after us were served before us. Waiters never came over after we placed the order. I had to flag them down sand was told a chicken sandwich took longer than other food. We left without ever getting our lunch as we had to get back to work. Front of the room staff asked how everything was but when we told them they just said ok.
Will never go back

We went on a rainy Tuesday evening so the restaurant was only half full. The ambiance was relaxing and conducive to conversation. It was really great to be able to talk without shouting and rushed to leave. We all ordered the brick flattened chicken. The chicken was wonderful! It had just the right amount of spice and was so moist. We will definitely go back.

The food is quite good at Jane, especially at brunch. Pancakes, waffles or an omelette make a nice beginning to a lazy Sunday. Make a reservation. The place is jammed on weekends.

Everything was good (food and service) but too expensive: brunch dishes could have more food (i had to ask to add french potatoes and an orange juice: they should be included !) And i had to pay the "refill" of coffee, everywhere it's Free.

We were sat downstairs with a few big parties and it was incredibly loud and we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. I think the experience would have been better if we were sat in the main dining room. Otherwise, service and food experience were good but nothing special.

We were sat down 15+ mins after our reservation time and our server didn't bring us any bread. Then there was a 25 minute wait for our tuna tacos that we were told was going to be complimentary because of the wait. This was not the case as they didn't take it off the bill. The flat iron steak with rosemary fries I had was fair but my wife's lobster roll was very bland and tasted watered down. The roll itself was good but not the filling. It was also way too loud to have any decent conversation at the restaurant. Given all the options in the area, I can't say I would return to this establishment any time soon. Just a very disappointing experience overall.

Amazing! We had the vanilla bean French toast, home fries, bacon, and special (buttermilk pancakes). It was all fresh and really great!!! They also have this in house made habanero hot sauce that is really good! Great on the omelets or potatoes.

Overall disappointing brunch. Eggs on my husbands Benedict and my avocado toast cooked through! Not runny. Waiter fixed but surprising error for an expensive brunch. Second avocado toast had large glob of Unripe avocado stacked on it. Service great and responsive to problem but I did not enjoy my dish to the fullest.

I came here for Sunday brunch looking forward to a great meal but was very disappointed. After having a reservation for only 2, we still waited 15 minutes to be seated. It took about another 10 to be recognized by a waitress and another 15 minutes to order our meal. The black coffee alone was 8.50 on top of our 2 bloody Mary’s I was already annoyed that our menus sat on the table for that long. The food was mediocre honestly, I was expecting more based off the reviews and menu.
