   Checking in was terrible, the guy wouldn’t look at me, only my wife. We had a reservation yet they tried to seat us at a bar high top. I asked for a different table, he said all tables were reserved, the whole time only looking at my wife. I refused, they sat us at a booth. We were the only table in the area till we left. Still didn’t understand why he said all the tables were reserved when we had a reservation.

   Amazing service and delicious food. Even our 9-year-old said it’s one of the best restaurant he’s been to! Certainly a destination restaurant if you’re near Omaha!

   We were seated outdoors at a table with a clear shade which was the only disappointment. Service and food was exceptional! Will definitely be back.

   Mostly a great dinner but unfortunately there was a discrepancy on the menu—shrimp tostada said mayo and it was actually a dairy based dressing. We had a nursing mother in our group whose baby is dairy intolerant. That item should be updated with the correct details. Really great service!

   Dirty plates served to us. Had visible food stuck to it. Restaurant was very hot inside due to the doors being open from the patio. Food was good and service was average.

   Love the atmosphere of Jams! The food was very good, staff was attentive. The only negative was that it was so warm in the restaurant. I was very uncomfortable which made it difficult to enjoy myself. Otherwise, great as usual!

    Sunday brunch - interesting menu - GREAT SERVICE - okay value (love the half price wine)... food came out quickly - AND WAS BARELY WARM!! Too bad - sure it would have been a ***** experience - not sure if a hot table issue - or they were concerned about a crowd and prepped foods too early.... Biscuit Stacker and Chicken and Waffles not hot.

    Jam's brunch is a welcome change from the buffet style brunches that are popular on holidays (although Jam's offered that on Easter Sunday as well). Their brunch menu has a nice variety of dishes that you don't see on their everyday menu that work well for those who want breakfast items. The majority of our party still had enough food to take home. Service was terrific on Easter in the Old Market location. We normally dine at the Midtown location, but the Old Market was a welcome change and Jam's doesn't disappoint.

    Go for brunch! The bottomless mimosas are so good and so worth the price! Not sure if they do a buffet every weekend but they did on the day I was there, really good variety and was very filling!

    The Old Market is a great place to hang out, especially for the food that is available in the many excellent restaurants in that area. Jams is definitely a great place to eat. Everything they serve is very well prepared. My wife had their rib eye, she said it was the best rip eye she has ever had. I had the cod, it was so good that I wish that seconds on it was an option. The appetizers were awesome as well. One we had was the blue crab egg rolls. Loved every bite.

    No queso dip at 5:30 pm on a Friday night. Why? No guacamole on a Friday night - I understand that avocado’s might be difficult to obtain, but guessing that there’s plenty of cheese to be found in Omaha.

    Hit happy hour. $2 off of a Guinness was great. Ordered the short rib grilled cheese. Thought I would try something new. Eh. Not bad but not that good either. A better name would be a short rib sandwich. Never did taste the cheese. There was plenty of meat but the meat was not anything to write home about. While I did not - not like it, I was dissatisfied. First time that has happened at Jams.

    My husband and I visited from minneapolis and wow WOW WOW I think this was the best meal I’ve ever had! I had the lobster tacos, which was served with a smoked Gouda Mac and cheese, and my husband had the fish and chips. He said his fish was amazing, and my tacos were amazing!!! Highly recommend going to Jams next time you’re in Omaha. Bonus points for being in old market- so cute!!

    Steve our server was great! He even offered to take our coats and hang them up. Restaurants never do that anymore. He was extremely nice, personable and helpful with the menu. I had the Black Manhattan and it was amazing. Food was incredible too. Been to Jams before and have been pleased but last night was exceptional!

    I would recommend Jams in the Old Market. The service and food was very good and prices were reasonable. Before dinner cocktails not the best and wine by the glass selections very limited and mediocre. Great ambiance.
