    We were seated right away and our waitress was fantastic. She was obviously hustling and had a lot of tables to cover, but we were never rushed nor were we left for long periods of time. She was awesome. The food was delicious! Our table had the meatloaf, fish & chips, enchiladas, and the Mediterranean salad. Everyone loved their meal! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

    Jams never disappoints. Our waitress was amazing. Very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend the steak salad. The fish tacos were spicier than I like but still good. The espresso martini and the sangria are really good choices. Will definitely return.

    Been a customer for many years. The downtown location has been disappointing for a while. We like to have a casual before dinner drink/appetizer meal prior to attending the Orpheum. Done this for many years. However the last few times not only has the menu changed but overall quality has been lacking. Cool to warm meatballs in warm sauce with crusty surfaces on part of the meatballs. Some type of attempt to add parmesan pieces on the meatballs...big fail. Bruschetta soaked in dressing. Fried Raviolis warm at best and crusty edges. Food obviously not freshly prepared. Crab stuffed egg roll was full of cheese filling with no crab meat or taste to speak of. Seems shortcuts are being taken in the kitchen at the customer's expense. Very disappointing from a restaurant that has had such a high reputation through the years.

    We’ve been going to Jam’s for years. Always consistent service and quality of food. Our friendly waitress last evening shared that they just implemented a “menu change”. That is in fact true. They no longer have their Crab cake salad, and their half portion salads are now the size of a tiny side salad! Still $13-$19!! I understand ingredient prices have increased, but our experience last evening was the amount of food served was WAY too small for the price. And no more crab cake salad?? We’re out!!

    Jams is always spot on. Food was great, ambience is great. The only slightly dim spot was that my coffee was not refilled until the very end of our brunch even though I'd asked for more when our food first came. Nevertheless, I'll keep coming back here; we eat at this location around once a month.

    Was assuming more TV’s for brunch but limited unless you are in the sides. Unlimited mimosas were heavy OJ and no other options. Most places provides different options

    Had a wonderful date with my special someone. The service was great, especially for such a busy place. It was a little loud but I could still hold a nice conversation. The food was wonderful and they were good with special requests. I can’t wait to go again!

    Pleasant staff. Quick seating. Menu options expensive for what was provided, longer wait than needed (every ordered menu item was 5 min max cook time, food 45 min after order.) Probably just not a great brunch spot, I’m sure it’s great as a bar/food for nights.

    I don't think their hostess and wait staff is well trained. We were the first people there when they opened, has a reservation, and still were seated at the table up against the kitchen doors. When I asked if we could be moved, they were annoyed with my request and never moved us. Our meals did not come out at the same time and we had to wait for refills of water and hot coffee. Maybe they forgot about us because we were sitting in the corner of a dark restaurant on a beautiful sunny day!

    Chose Jams because of patio, but were not able to sit there (full?), but ambiance inside was nice. Good food, loved that the menu was not cookie cutter (salmon eggs benedict, ribs grilled cheese), fairly expensive, but large quantity and well done. Good service,

    Not sure what has happened to Jams but I’ve tried it twice in a year and most likely will not go back. Service good, loved sitting outside under the lights. Maybe it was what we ordered, burger, turkey bacon avocado sandwich and one ordered the Parmesan chicken sandwich but Everything was just okay, nothing special, fries not fresh, appetizer was salty, I’d leave the pesto off, seemed overpriced for what we had. Drinks were good, chocolate cake was good.

    I ordered the fish and chips and I got some kind of square really too crispy to eat so I left them. Perhaps let your customers decide on which kind. Our server didn’t introduce herself and perhaps a manager could have went from table to table to check on us. We had a guest from Austin and she said she didn’t want to go back to your restaurant.

    It was okay. Steak was chewy. Fish tacos were par. Spaghetti and meatballs were luke warm. People seated after us were taken care of before us. Server had too many tables to take care of.

    Loved the interior and atmosphere and the spacing between the tables! Server was really good, gave us time and was willing to make changes to menu items. Meals were all great and presentation was well done! First visit to this location and liked it much better than the Dodge Street location.

    I have never had a bad meal at Jam's in the Old Market, I love their food. Their monthly specials are always amazing. The Peach Creme Brulee was beyond amazing.

    We had a reservation for 6:45 and we arrived at 6:30 and they already had our table ready and we were seated immediately! Our server was extremely nice and helpful and made the experience above and beyond! Definitely will eat here again!

    Jams is a very nice restaurant in the Old Market area. It's casual but more upscale than some of the other Old Market bars and restaurants. The menu offers a wide selection of appetizers and entrees, and our server Steve was very helpful with his recommendations. Jams has an extensive bar menu with creative cocktails, good tap beer selections, and a nice wine list. The food we ordered was delicious and attractively served. My companion and I shared the potstickers on the appetizer menu. He ordered the short rib tacos, and I had coconut chicken salad, which our server said was the most popular item on the menu. Very satisfying meal and dining experience!

    For the past 3 years, we gone to Omaha for the College World Series, and every year, we dine at Jam’s. The 1st year the food was average but the service was horrible and rude. The 2nd year, the food was great and the waiter was very rude. This year, the waiter was incredibly rude and condenscending and the food was below average. I ordered the whiskey steak salad and it was drenched and floating in salad dressing. The bacon, blue cheese, and avacado was mush on top of the salad - almost like it was whisked together. 🤢. It was inedible. My husband ordered the lobster tacos and our son ordered the fish and chips - everyone felt the food was subpar at best. Also noteworthy, Jam’s has a very limited and small menu due to the CWS which was odd as the restaueant was not even 40% full. After three strikes, we will never go to Jam’s again.

    Server was fantastic and attentive. Trouble w/order. A tuna melt was ordered without tomatoes but had tomatoes on it. Serve confirmed she had it on the ticket. It was also ordered with waffle fries but came out with regular fries, which were great but not what we ordered. Server quickly rectified, bringing out the correct fries. Given that this particular order was messed up in two different ways, we were surprised that it wasn't comped or at least reduced. Menu was customized for College World Series, so many of the usuals were not available but we enjoyed it none the less. Tuna melt was great, as was the fish and chips, which we split. Thank god we did, as there were 4 large fish pieces that we never would have finished without splitting. The drink menu was also custom to CWS teams which is fun. The bourbon cherry mash drink was sweet and came in a to-go type pouch...odd given that the others were in regular glasses. An order of a regular old-fashioned was also good but served with regular ice. A good old-fashioned is always served with a large cube, not small ones. We asked and the server said she was able to find one "in the back." Weird. Seems to us it should be a staple behind the bar. We enjoy Jams and will not let these glitches keep us from returning, but hopefully managers take note. Mistakes happen but some things are easily corrected.
