   No cabbage with corn beef on St. Patty’s day. Ran out and didn’t tell us? Server was rude. Used to enjoy going there. Sadly, we won’t be back for a long time. Too many other great options downtown.

   Having a reservation and we were seated at a tall top table when there were booths. The waiter was there right away and we just didn’t want to complain, many people were waiting. It was probably our mistake. They should ask if a table top is sufficient. All else was good.

   Very good service. We had reservation, seated early. We were going to be next to very large group of volleyball club. They happily reseated us in a quieter area. I have consistently had good food and service at this Jams over the years.

    We went for Valentine’s Day aka my husband’s birthday :) Our waiter greeted us within a few minutes. she was very pleasant. Once our food came, she kept checking in on us- the food was really good and the portions were perfect. We will definitely be back.

    We were greeted with cheerful hostesses and seated early for our reservation. Our drinks and food were served timely and we both enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be returning!

    We had a lovely lunch. Juan, our Waiter, was excellent. He seemed ro know just when to refill our glasses, check about dessert, etc. We were seated to the back, and the atmosphere was very nice. Overall, we had a great experience!

    Food specials were really good and unique. The monthly specials were not your usual menu items but not overly exotic or uncomfortably complex. The lavosh appetizer was light and flavorful. Excellent beer, wine, and drink menu as well. Desserts were fresh and tasted fabulous.

    Jams is walking distance to Creighton basketball games. Bottomless Mimosas on Saturday started the meal off perfectly! There were 4 in our party. We all had different entrees, and all were fabulous.

    Food is good here. It was busy and even though we made a reservation we were seated in a very tight area at a hi-top table. We were seated right away but it just wasn’t comfortable.

    Ordered the lettuce wrap for an appetizer and came 5 soggy leaves. I asked for a replacement and got another one. My salad was the chicken coconut that was super over cooked and dry , almost burned . Then desert was a Nutella chocolate mouse that didn’t taste like Nutella at all. Very disappointed, I used to really like it’s food .

    Jams is very special to us around Christmas time as it was where we celebrated right after we got engaged. Our server was nice but at times we felt rushed. The specials were delicious but the pasta was a bit over cooked.

    Unfortunately, the menu was more complex than necessary for brunch. All of the food we received it was entirely too salty. Beautiful building, great light… Unfortunately, we were seated in the back, in the dark.

    Had reservations, were seated by a very drafty window and were freezing the entire meal. Our service was average to little slow and they were not swamped. Our food was not as good as it normally is. I’ve dined here many times and the food has always been great. Tonight the short rib grilled cheese was soggy and Luke warm. Also, our appetizer had a piece of plastic in it! Our server was responsive to that issue and a manager stopped by to say the appetizer would not be charged to our bill. Overall I was disappointed as this was not my usual experience. I will go back and hope that this dining experience was an anomaly.

    Enjoy Jams. We go at least once,sometimes twice, a month. Front end hostesses and manager are always friendly and we LOVE Diana.We always ask for her to be our server. She is attentive and personable. She knows what type of food we like and what we have had on past visits. Knowing those two things, she always makes the best suggestions from the menu to suit us. We have had Jenny, but on this particular visit, we had Juan. They are attentive as well. The chef always comes up with interesting and tasty selections. We will continue to visit in Jams. We highly recommend it for the service and the comfortable atmosphere.
