We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday with a delicious “Restaurant Week” menu. The wait staff was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The tapas were exceptional. The attention to detail and beautiful presentation were remarkable. I tried the red sangria. Delicious! The others chose cocktails and were delighted with their choices. My only suggestion would be some Spanish music. The ambience is not particularly Spanish, but the food is fantastic!

seafood paella and vegetable tapas board with grilled mushroom are delicious, must try the
grilled mushroom on flat bread is a must try.
Our server really knows her menu well and gave us very good recommendation. I asked her whether grilled skirt steak or spare ribs which one is better, she told us grilled skirt steak. Too bad we didn't take her advice and ordered spare ribs, it is not bad but I find it a bit too sweet for me with sweet potato instead with cabbage slaw. The ambience is nice, will want to go back and try other dishes.

Everything was excellent aside from where we were seated. We were right next to the bathroom/ coat room. Other guests kept bumping into my date and a fowl smell lingered at our table during our dessert course. It was pretty awful and ruined the experience. Otherwise, food and service was on point.

We had a great experience at Jamonera. I would definitely go back. Given that it was tapas style, I thought the prices were a little high. Great service and everything we ordered was very good. I recommend the Brussels sprouts and the eggplant fries.

The service was good if a bit slow. The dining area is very small but the bar probably has about 15 seats and was full during majority of the time we were there (from 5:45 PM to about 7 PM). We made reservations for four (three adults and one child) and we were seated quickly at a table by the window--definitely the best table in the house, so we were lucky. The rest of the dining area is very packed. The menu is fairly small but the food was very good and fairly creative. The highlight for me was the sherry menu. Their cocktails all sounded very good and they had a small but good selection of beer. The price was about what was expected for the type of restaurant and quality of the food and service. Definitely a good place but not sure if it is worth an hour drive. Good local spot.

We've been visiting Jamonera ever since we discovered it three years ago on a holiday trip to Philly. Their cocktail, Bizet, is divine and the food is phenomenal.

My first experience wasn’t great. While I love all of Marcie and Valaries restaurants, I didn’t enjoy my time here. Came to do happy hour and dinner. There was an issue with seating for happy hour. Hostess was confused. Table server seemed very snooty. Moved to the bar. Bartender equally as condescending. After happy hour drinks and snacks we didn’t even stay for dinner.

Willing to try again but hopefully there’s better staff.

Jamonera far exceeded our expectations. You definitely need a reservation on a weekend. The food was excellent and the portions were surprisingly large for tapas. My fiance and I ordered four dishes and were very comfortable by the end of the meal. The grilled octopus and stuffed dates were delicious. It is an intimate setting and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The cocktails were unique and tasty. We already want to go back to try more on the menu.

The food, service and overall experience was outstanding. The ambiance was very good--although I wish I had a little more space from the table to the right of us. We had reservations for 6:00 p.m., but did not arrive until 6:30 p.m. We called to let them know we were running late and they held our reservation for us. The food was delicious--good portions for sharing. I would return for a special occasion in the future.

Always enjoy this restaurant! We were there for Paella & Sangria Night - the appetizers was a carb load-up but tasty - but then couldn't finish the Paella which was wonderful! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and cozy!!

Super food! We shared a tapas plate for 4 and the stuffed dates (4 dates; separate order) are to die for. we all ordered the lamb chops and we all loved them! We were unsure of which wine, so the server let us taste 2 of them and we selected one we preferred. Desert menu is limited, but the hazelnut tart was wonderful, and really should have be shared by 2. Our friends had the pineapple-lime ice cream and loved it as well. It was a bit noisy, but we managed. The restaurant is not large and it was full so that led to noise.

Nice meal. Friendly staff. Good options for small plates, which were staggered to not get full too fast. The sangria was delicious. Small space and every conversation was amplified in close quarters.

It was a waste of 800 points to get the prime table for a 715p slot. I could have got that table for free. It's not like they save the best table for you, you still sit where a table is available. Don't waste your points.

The dining room is quite small and dark. Very good cocktails (Bizet, Toreador) and some interesting Spanish wine (Tempranillo in particular). Very good service: amicable and professional. The food did not deliver: papa frita (a variation on patatas bravas) was basically charred pieces of potatoes with skin with mayo. Albondogas were uninspired. Orange chicken was tough and lacked any orange notes. Lamb chops were good, but the pumpkin bread side did not work at all.

My friend and I split 4 dishes and a dessert, and it was all amazing. We ordered one item from small plates, one item from a vegetarian list, and two from the meats section. Everything is shareable, and it’s worth trying as much as possible!

I read that it was small inside, and it is, but the food & service more than makes up for the space. The food was unique and delicious as were the cocktails and wines. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines as we were unfamiliar with Spanish wines. We really enjoyed ourselves.
One further point; I strongly suggest making reservations because of the limited number of tables.

This was our first visit to Jamonera. We had been to the sister restaurant Barbuzzo the previous night. Jamonera is a fairly small place. We had the catalan greens and the anchoas to start. The greens were good. I liked the anchoas because I like anchovies. We also had the paella mixta and the short ribs. The short ribs were excellent. The paella was ok; the seafood and meats were good, the rice was a bit mushy for my likes. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
