This was our first time at this location as we usually go to the Crystal Lake Jameson’s which never disappoints!! At the Mount Prospect location: Server was not very attentive and not very good. Water glasses were dirty, out of baked potatoes on a Sunday evening, didn’t have beer on draft in the bar. Sorry, won’t be back.
Great dinner and service
Always consistent above average food at reasonable prices. There are a few tables too close to kitchen that can get a bit noisy.
Great place to eat. Service was exceptional. Food was great and plenty of it! Highly recommend.
A gathering of high school friends on April 15 th 2018. Everything was great. Food was enjoyed by everyone. Wait staff was wonderful. Had a great time
I had not been to this Jameson's in years. The food was still excellent, but for a Friday night it cleared out pretty early. Their website says that the restaurant is open to 11:00 p.m. but they started putting chairs up a little after 9:00 p.m. We went to have an after dinner drink in the bar and it was empty at 9:30. We felt like they were rushing us out so they could close up early.
Service was horrible. Waitress came by every 15 minutes. The food has no seasoning on it.
just a good place with good food and good food choices and excellent service
This restaurant is very consistent. Warm greeting, good service, great food, fairly priced. Highly recommend Jameson's.
Went Easter Sunday with my wife and 3 adult children. My wife wanted to get one of the corner booths in the bar but the larger one was taking too long so we took the smaller one. It was really for 5 cuz we were kinda packed into it. But it was alright. the food was great, as always and our waitress was friendly and attentive. One of our fav's...
I have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal or bad service. Excellent all around!
Great place for business lunches and family dining. Very nice bar. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Just a very good restaurants overall. Good food. Good variety and very good service. Nice place for almost anytime
food was great one of the best steaks foe the money
Overall, a good experience, very busy and a bit hectic Saturday night. Server was better than average, French Onion soup good , not overly salty, steak MR was MR, scallops OK, did not feel rushed, coffee good, tiramisu average. Would dine there again.
Always need a reservation for this popular spot. Parking is challenging. Waited 20 minutes even with a reservation. But the wait is worth it. Love the Baby Liver and onion dish. I'll be back again and deal with the crowd.
As usual good food waitress was great had a salad with salmon tased great price was a little high for what we got. A better option is the salmon dinner which includes soup and salad
food came out very quickly which was pleasantly surprising as we went during the lunch hour for a business meal. My order was missing the parmesan, but the waiter quickly noticed and had it fixed right away. attention to detail was noticed too. they were quick to refill drinks, take plates away, etc. Would come again to eat here and try something else on the menu!
We are big fans. The Mt. Prospect locale can get a little cramped but it is otherwise a great place.
great place to eat and drink with family and friends. Nice choices and reasonable prices
Very good steakhouse. Meat was cooked to correct temps, portion sizes were generous and came with 2 sides, salad AND soup. Lots of variety in the menu and service was excellent.
This was our first visit to Jameson's and we had heard the food was good but we were blown away by the service and the food!'Meals begin with very good warm bread and butter. Then soup, salad, and main course with vegetable AND potato or rice follow. Since it was a birthday, a small key lime pie was Brought for dessert with candles. It was the best key lime pie any of us had ever had! All of us agreed that our food was fantastic and we will look forward to going again!
Everything was great! Food was so good! Parking is an issue. Luckily someone was leaving and I was able to grab the spot.
We had 10 people and everyone was very pleased with the food. The service was a bit slow, but we were there at 3:00p and there was not many workers there at that time.
This is our favorite "go to" steakhouse in the area. Food is always outstanding, staff always friendly and quick with a smile, and the drinks are just right. Great place for nice atmosphere and great food!
Awesome as always
Very good as always!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Excellent food a bit noisy. We were seated in a booth close to kitchen-a lot of activity.
The ribeye steak is delicious, as well as the chicken tortellini soup and french onion soup. they also have good burgers. it was very noisy when we were there.
I have always enjoyed eating at Jameson’s and tonight was no different. Took a little longer than usual to get the check, but otherwise a great night.
Excellent service and food. The only hard thing is parking. But they do have valet.
We went there for Valentine's Day and it was wonderful even for being so busy. Our waitress was great! We will be back! 😁
Great food and atmosphere. Super nice for a date but not too fancy.
Added 2 guests (from 2 to 4) late, and staff were very accommodating and did it with no problem.
The food is perfectly cooked, the service is great everyone is friendly, everything about the restaurant is good ,the atmosphere, from beginning to end. Thank u
Food is very good but split pea soup seemed to be missing the ham
I used to go to this location years ago then moved and went to another location twice. Still like this one the best. Had a birthday lunch with friends and we all enjoyed it. Thank you! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Everything was wonderful, the food was delicious.
I called Jamesons ahead at 630pm to see if they had fish fry as it was advertised at another location. They said "sure" so we made a reservation for 700. We arrived, were seated, and they said they were out after I tried to place my order. The server could tell I was disappointed so she offered to have the manager come talk to me. The manager came and said, "we're out of the fish fry, it's a Friday night and we can't predict what people will order." He did not apologize and I asked him, "you mean you don't know how many customers you have going through your restaurant on a Friday night during Lent?" "No, sorry." He looked mildly disinterested during this whole exchange. I said I didn't like how we were being treated he said, "I don't like your attitude" and walked away. I left $30 on the table to cover my glass of wine, which I had 2 sips of, the bread, and my son's chocolate milk, and we left. I've never done that.
