Great food, good ambiance, be prepared for a different experience if you’re not familiar with tapas small plate eating...
Phenomenal meal--best service and best food in Vegas!
Not authentic at all. I’ve had Paella before and this was just awful. All it was was rice and a choice of shrimp, lobster, chicken and maybe something else. But really, you don’t get a choice because they only serve what they decided to make that day. I was hoping for the Lobster Paella and they didn’t make lobster that day.
Most authentic Paella has a combination of all kinds of seafood including muscles and this was no where near what we expected. My husband got the shrimp Paella and the portion was so small! I ended up getting two tapas plates that were so tiny. We were starving about an hour later and the bill was over $100.
I brought my husband here for his birthday but the ambiance was incredibly noisy. Also, when seated for two people, you are seated so close to the next couple you can hear their entire conversation. You also have to pretty much yell loudly if you want to converse with the person you are eating with.
What a disappointment. We would never recommend this restaurant.
Jaleo is my favorite restaurant to visit when I am in Vegas. I tell all of my friends and family about it too, the gazpacho is beyond delicious! Small plates, healthy options with unbelievable taste explosions! I will absolutely be back... and the red sangria is a MUST!
I’ve been going to Jaleo for years! It’s my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The food is fantastic and it’s such a fun and lively place for a night out.
The tasting menu was wonderful. The wine list extensive.
Service was subpar
Food was excellent
The octopus was like butter, the shrimp cooked to perfection and the black garlic soup with egg was a surprisingly tasteful delight. We look forward to going back on our next trip!
The rice paella was very disappointing no crunchy rice and didn’t even satisfy us we had to go elsewhere for some food later we where all still hungry
This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and the food was perfect.
The food and service were great. A bit pricey though....
Very high-end tapas experience, foodies would love the authentic Spanish tapas and paella ingredients.
Our group loved having the option of small plates to share. We were able to pick dishes from all over the menu and have a wonderful meal. And the sangria was terrific. We loved our servers.
It was great! Food was delish. Mary was awesome. Will totally go back next time I’m in Vegas.
My wife & I have followed Jose' Andres for a number of years. This was our first opportunity to dine at one of his restaurants. We chose Jose's Way (chefs 5 course tapas selection) and Jose's Ultimate Gin & Tonics! We loved it & returned 3 days later for a second chance!
The chefs tasting menu with wine pairing is the way to go! The paella and the steak were both incredible, and every other small plate was delicious. Great staff!
The hams, cheeses, and shrimp selections were delicious. The Spanish wines were bold and flavorful. Would definitely return for more tapas.
Jaleo offered knowledgable pleasant wait staff, an excellent sommelier and a creative and tasty variety of tapas, though all in our party agreed the paella was the star of the evening (well that and the dessert)! An excellent sangria was also featured the night we were there.
The atmosphere was great. Love the open concept kitchen. The staff was really nice and the food was so declious.
Jaleo is a must on our annual trip to Vegas.
Expensive!, but good if you dont care
Very good. Delicious favor. Thanks for setting the table for our group
Great food. A little loud. Good service.
The restaurant was very noisy. Very busy.
The service and food were very good.
We had a great time but we had no idea who our server was or who it was we left a tip for. I am in Upscale hospitality in Los Angeles and was surprised that we had three different people (including your Somm) check on us because it was clear we weren’t being taken care of. I tipped because it was the right thing to do, however despite the beautiful food, I’m not sure I’ll be back. I’m looking for an experience and I felt like it was a turn and burn.
I would have given this place 5 stars if the cooks who prepared the paella did not dictate which paellas they were preparing. We went there specifically to try the lobster paella and as customers, we should be able to order what we came for. The cooks only made 3 of the 7 different flavors of paella that were on the menu. So, we ended up settling for smaller plates of food. The bread with tomatoes or Pan De Cristal Con Tomate, Gambas Al Ajillo, and grilled chicken thigh with black garlic, were all delicious dishes. I just wished the portions were more suited for one person, especially when we learned that we were never going to have the lobster paella that night.
When I come to Jaleo, I always have my guests order the tasting menu. It is simply outstanding and a great culinary treat, each and every time. Top notch food, top notch drink and incredible service. A GREAT spot.
I live in Vegas and there are literally a million better places to eat on the strip . The only thing worth going to try is the paella everything else is mediocre at best . Nothing stood out including the service . Not worth the money we spent at all .
Have eaten at Jaleo in DC but this was even better. Every dish we ordered was exceptional.
Very noisy but the food was spectacular. The salmon tartare in tiny cones (think savory ice cream cones) with fish roe on top was so good that I keep dreaming about it.
We don't normally repeat visits to restaurants in Vegas each year when we return because there are just too many new ones to try, but the exception this year was Jaleo. The food is great and the atmosphere is lovely.
While the restaurant was trendy and energetic it was difficult to hold a conversation. The seating was extremely uncomfortable. The food had a lot of oil, but was tasty.
What a great meal, excellent wine the choices we made really built to a perfect finish. We started with the Pan de cristal con tomate and had some Manchego cheese with it. Then moved on to the Crispy calamares with squid ink alioli, followed by the shrimp with garlic. Then finally Grilled Merino lamb with rosemary sauce and honey alioli.
It was totally awesome, split between two people. The wait staff was great, the timing of everything was perfect, not rushed, not waiting, really well done. We did have to have a little desert which just capped things off perfectly Pan con chocolate, which is a chocolate custard and brioche ice cream (just a little of each).
It was all fantastic I would go back in a heartbeat!
Wonderful food. Service great. Went back to following night and was similarly impressed.
Came for a Birthday celebration. The champagne in the beginning was a nice touch. Also she the waiter brought the dessert, he wished the person “Happy Birthday” The tasting menu that we got was filling. Enjoyed the steak that they brought out. Was not found of the Manzana con hinojo but that may be due to preference. Over all great service. Would come back here again to try their regular menus. Cost is $$
Fabulous good! Everything was amazing. Like to come here when coming to Vegas.
Wonderful, original food prepared deliciously. Only complaint is background music is loud and with a strong drum beat for most songs (be better if it was soft melodic music). Service is impeccable.
It was great food you just have to order a whole lot to feel satisfied. In no way is that a dig at what's going on at Jaleo, however. It's elevated, simple and crave worthy; a must return kind of restaurant.
We are so grateful to chef Andres for the work we have read he's done in Puerto Rico. So it was great to eat in his restaurant, and the food was wonderful. Best green beans I have ever had.
Over hyped and over priced. Food was not bad but not great
