Great experience! We loved the tapas style in a great atmosphere. The food was exceptional.
If we had not had Spanish tapas at other restaurants we would have thought that the food was amazing. I was very excited to experience a Jose Andres restaurant, so to be honest this was a little bit of a let down. The food was tasty, but far from the best we've had in the states. Our server, although nice, was initially not very engaging. As he was telling us about some of the specials, he was looking over our head and I'm really not sure at what. There was no contact whatsoever. Maybe we didn't look like we'd spend enough money? I have no idea. He was friendlier later, so maybe something distracted him? We could've easily eaten more, but the dishes we had as stated earlier were tasty, but not amazing. The dishes we chose were some basic Spanish tapas, a meat (lomo), a cheese (garrotxa), chicken croquetas, patatas bravas, and the pulpo. To be honest all of these items we've had at other restaurants. The flavor was good, but not the best we've had. The biggest let down was the patatas bravas, which is a pretty basic dish, but the size of the potatoes were rather large. Seems like it could've been just a little smaller. We always LOVE pulpo and although it was tender, it seemed like it was missing flavor. We thought about getting a main dish to share or the paella, but being that we weren't wow'd we decided to stop. The cocktails were quite nice and the wine selection was also nice, but the overall experience was not what we were expecting.
We’d dined at another Jose andres concept before—bazaar meats—and had a wonderful experience, so our expectations for our meal at jaleo was high. Two of the first plates that came out were very good (the cones were amazing), but the ptatas bravas and the paella were a bit disappointing. There just wasn’t a whole lot of flavor—it felt like something we could’ve made at home. Dessert was wonderful—we had the flan. The service was great and it was a fun atmosphere. It’s possible if we had chosen different dishes we would’ve had a five star experience.
The food was amazing!! Can't say it enough!! The service was also extremely attentive. It was a great experience!
Great service. Outstanding Gin and Tonics. Excellent food. Fun experience. Would come back 100%!
The food was very good, not exceptional as previous visit. I was disappointed in their Paella, which is their specialty. The Paella for the day was with rabbit, chicken and beans. Rabbit and chicken was dry, the beans were stringy as they did not remove the string on it. The rice was also dry. Best tapas we had was heirloom tomato with crab salad.
Third visit and will go again. Disappointed by the entirely adequate sliders when all else was so good.
Great experience and staff helps guide you with great selections!
Definitely a go to when one stays at the Cosmopolitan! We always make a stop!
If you like gin and tonics, the ultimate gin and tonic is a must have!
Delicious food - best tapas we've had since we were in San Sebastian!
Excellent food, great service. Seating is somewhat strange and uncomfortable if your back is on the long bench facing the hall.
Everything was fantastic—the food, service, and ambiance. Love Jaleo.
Very good food.
Always love Jaleo. Food and service are always great. Only disappointment of this trip was not receiving a dessert for our anniversary but we did receive kava at the start of the meal.
We had two sharing plates, one with salmon and roe and one with goats cheese and fig.we loved both and would definitely order either again, but there was such a wonderful choice. We then enjoyed the braised chicken thighs, which had crispy skin and succulent meat. To top everything though was the paella fresh from the wood fire with rabbit and chicken - bone in for extra flavor, as it should be! We each had a glass of Spanish red with the meal, and the sherry tasting for after. The sherry was eye opening! So complex and delicious, the perfect ending. We celebrated my partners birthday in style. The service was flawless as well. A memorable night! We highly recommended Jaleo as an experience while in Vegas!
I have dined before and couldn’t wait to return. Food was just ok. I was bummed that the experience had not lived up to my previous visits. Had reservations for a Saturday night and the place was half empty. With the other options around the strip I wouldn’t return.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant with great food. Our server was very nice. Served us a dish we did not order, but immediately offered to take it off the bill and leave it on our table anyway for us to eat. Dishes are served tapas style, designed to share. Each dish was excellent with superb flavor. This was our first time at a Chef Andres restaurant and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. You can sit at a table or bar where you can watch the chefs cook. When we received our final bill, I was shocked at how reasonable it was for the amount of food and drink we had.
We will definitely go back on our next trip to Vegas.
The tapas menu was great
Lots off options
Drinks a bit expensive
Really enjoyed will definitely come back
Excellent service; great food; comparable prices for location and type of food
Traveling- great meal, perfect flavors and texture conbinations
Worst experience ever. The paella was lukewarm the rabbit and chicken were very dry. Definitely won’t return next time we’re in Vegas.
What an incredible dining experience.
Our server Bri was great, she knows the menu backwards and forward. Gary the sommelier asked all the right questions to help us choose a red Spanish wine that turned onto one of the best wines I have had.
Food was mediocre and we had a tortilla omelet that was not made traditional
Waiter did not even ask when it was as left nearly untouched
The option of tapas was really good and the food that followed was no let-down. Really tasty and as authentic as Vegas tapas could make it. No it’s not Sevilla but really good and a wide and varied menu. Wine list also good and the mosaic fresco behind the bar is captivating. If you go, ask for Paola as your server. She made time in a busy restaurant and even reacted to my dubious Spanish. Just one problem. It was cold. The air-con was blowing so hard that the lamp shades were swaying. Not only did it have me hankering for a full knit sweater but it meant that almost as soon as the food hit the table it chilled off. That’s not good for an expensive and lovely Solomillo. Otherwise it would be a 5* place to eat.
Go. Great bar, with solicitous bar tender who makes a really great margarita. Dining in restaurant was great. Helpful waitress. Got to try patatas bravas, chicken with garlic, shrimp with garlic. Everything’s good.
Food was disappointingly average (shrimp paella so so salty and sautés spinach was too oily) but atmosphere was fun and service was attentive but not overbearing.
We sat in a really comfy spot in the restaurant - service was awesome and everything we tasted was great- our favorite dining spot on this trip to Vegas.
Delicious tapas, great service and all around another knock out for Jose Andres.
The Coca Erizos and the Jamon Iberico de Bellota Cinco Jotas are mind blowing delicious. Ricardo gave us a great service with excellent recommendations.
Amazing food and even more amazing staff. Had dinner then went back 2 days later for lunch.
We had been to Jaleo on a previous trip and absolutely love it, so much in fact we decided to return again this year. Overall the food was good. But we were really disappointed with the service.
The server was not knowledgeable. We wanted smallish dishes to share, and mentioned this multiple times, and she kept recommending dinner size portions on the menu, and we’d ask again about sizing...What ultimately set me over the edge was asking for just one more “small plate” to share, and she says the lobster would be perfect. It was the WHOLE lobster, fried. I felt like she was just trying to up-sell the whole time.
If wasn’t for the good deeds of José Andrés I would never go back.
Always love Jaleo.
Fantastic place. Great food, great servers! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for some excellent Tappa's and fun atmosphere!
Great food and service
Food is spectacular...authentic Spanish dishes with great flavor, well-presented. But service was “spotty” at best. We were 4 dining. 3 of us got our sales quickly, 4th person got hers 15 minutes later.
Super great food and service!
Food was good but not fantastic. Waiter was very nice but inattentive. We split a meal that was to have 3 courses however we had allergy concerns with two of the dishes and settled on just one item. Fried foods cooked in the same oil would not let us choose a different item because of the oil. Got charged for all three courses AND for a split meal. No consideration at all. Spent an hour and 15 minutes to each have 1/2 of one course and only a hand full of people in the restaurant. Even at that I had to stand up and make the waiter give me a check.
Great food and service. The place is so noisy, having no walls that separate the space from The Cosmopolitan casino. Should build glass walls to make quieter.
Delicious and unique menu items, fantastic service and a great place to celebrate a birthday. Goat cheese & chorizo cones and salt cod fritters are a must try!!
Came here for our first anniversary. Picked four tapas and sangria that reminded us of our honeymoon to Madrid and Barcelona last year. Good portions and great atmosphere. We loved every minute of our time here.
We had some newer servers so we had to accept patatas bravas that had been fried in the same oil as squid and fish. This was in spite of telling the waitstaff that one of our group was a vegetarian
