Jaleo - The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The tapas were mixed. The eggplant was very good but small slices. The paella of the day was good. Everything else was good, but not memorable., especially for the price
Just ok all around. Food OK, portions are small, service OK our waiter disappeared for a bit, ambiance barely ok. With Beauty and Essex across the way doing tapas right I was disappointed we picked Jaleo
We did the tasting menu and it was 🤷🏻♂️. Perhaps I’ve just gotten spoiled by expecting to be “wowed” at spots in Vegas? The service was on point but the food fell flat.
Food and wine was delicious - everyone picked dishes and we tried them all - great fun
We go to Jaleo quite often and find the food and service to be very consistently excellent.
Overall, it the experience was just ok, which is not good enough when you have so much competition at that price point, especially within walking distance in the Cosmo. I had six different tapas and the only two that were memorable were the cones and the burger. I will say that the server was extremely attentive, so that is A+.
This is my 2nd time at Jaleo, it was for my husbands 50th. It was good, they moved us away from a noisy table plus let me bring my cake in. Service was a bit hit and miss but overall very satisfied and will return and recommend
It was our anniversary. We had a nice table in the back. The hostess was very sweet es wishing us happy anniversary.
The Restaurant was a bit cold we kept our jackets on and so did many other customers. I am not sure how it is not obvious to the manager to turn down the A/C.
Our waiter was not very enthusiastic to wait on us. Didn’t do much explaining of the food and when we wanted to order more he said we already ordered a lot and we should wait on ordering more 😂 little does he know we are endurance athletes and in the middle of our training ( we eat a lot )
Also for a higher end restaurant I would expect for plates and silverware to be replaced after trying different foods.
The people next to us got theirs replaced automatically.. we had to ask for it.
The food was excellent and we would love to come back to try other dishes . Hopefully next time our Service will be better.
I simply cannot resist their Gazpacho. I go to Vegas once a year but have their Gazpacho numerous times during that one week. Highly recommended.
We got there right at 12:00 pm before it got loud and crowded. Make sure you get the pan de cristal con tomate - sounds like a simple item, but it’s delicious. We also loved the dates, the gazpacho, and the eggplant with honey drizzle.
Ask your wait staff what people love. That will give you a great experience. I’ve been to Jaleo 5-6 times and this is the first time I chose on my own only to find out...something’s off.
Wonderful food and service
Phenomenal in every way
Birthday dinner with spouse. We arrived late but Jaleo put us in right away. Food came out at a good pace. Tried a new wine. Loved the spinach Salad and the croquettes.
Everything was phenomenal.. our server Raisha exceeded expectations so the food was on point. Highlights were the Lamb Chops, the anchovies and the Zahara Gambas
Came for the paella and was disappointed. Looked and tasted like reheated leftovers. Pork was too chewy and the all over brown color was not appealing. The salads were good and the garlic shrimp was terrific.
Por ser cena de año nuevo tenían un solo menú y el cubierto por persona fue de 150 dlls. Nos hubiera gustado saberlo antes, aún así lo tomamos. Valió la pena ya que la comida fue deliciosa.
Lovely table service & the food was excellent and plentiful! Always a great experience at Jaleo. One of our favorite restaurants
Excellent food and service!! Great views on New Years Eve!
Spanish Oasis in Las Vegas! Definitely try the Fideua which here is named Rossejat. Price worth the experience.
Being Spaniard myself I was glad to find real Spanish flavors in Vegas amidst a great ambience. The arroz caldoso was just sublime and the red wine options a perfect combination for all the assorted tapas we had. Looking forward to a second visit soon
Great food and drinks! My gin and tonic was the best! And the food, all of it, was awesome! The wine was good too, according to my friend. Highly mend!
Loved it again. Have been back many times. Highly recommend.
Good tasting Menu from Spain in Las Vegas! Maybe if the dishes were smaller you can enjoy much better the experience instead of keep focus to finish all.
Service was good and very polite with all kind of people. The only comment from my side is that they make you wait a little bit stand until the table is assigned.
the tapas was okay. but the paella uneatable. it tasted of nothing and the "meat" was mainly bones. a little safran or other spices and "meat" with more meat and less bones would help, Any person that likes paella should find an other place to eat. Fair enough we was not charged for the "paella" but left hungry.
4 of us shard a variety of tapas. Every plate we ordered was amazing. The best for me was the olive duo. The liquid olives were incredible. The cured ham assortment was lovely.
Our server was spectacular. We asked her for recommendations, and the food did not disappoint. Some standouts were the lamb, patatas bravas, and ensalade verde.
Fabulous from start to finish!!
Jaleo was great for Christmas Eve dinner! My Mom and I decided to trust Chef and go with the Tasting menu with wine pairings. So much great food and the wines (5) were delicious. Service was excellent, wait staff very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I just wish I could go back sooner to try more Spanish dishes!
Excellent service, the server I had was so kind and attentive.
Christmas eve dinner was perfect. The Plum steak was gorgeous, tender and very well seasoned. Scallops were great, and the desserts were delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful
over rated, service is average, food is quite difficult to figure
Beautiful location, excellent waitstaff, amazing food and beverages.
We had reservations at Momofuku in Cosmopolitan but once we got there and viewed their new menu we decided not to eat there. So we were scrambling. We decided to try Jaleo and got in right away which was great. We weren't really sure what to order since we had not been there before and we needed gluten free. The server was not that much help when we asked about size so we started with Idiazabal cheese. It came with two slices of chees and some quince. It was very good but after that order we knew we needed to order larger plates. We then ordered: 'Rossejat'*: Traditional 'paella' of toasted pasta with squid sofrito and shrimp. They forgot our order on this one and we had ordered Carrilleras: Braised ibérico pork cheeks with seasonal mushrooms. It was excellent. We then reminded them about the paella and they brought that. It could have been the entire meal it was large and very good. But we had also order Carne Asada. Again another excellent plate.
In general food was excellent once we figured out what to order and what to expect. I would recommend you order the three cheeses and then either 2 or 3 more dishes for 2 people.
Our waiter recommended a selection of dishes that we loved. Not too much food, and a very reasonable (for Vegas) tab. We would certainly go back.
This was one of the best experiences in Vegas, the food was stellar wine excellent and if the server had been a bit more friendly it would have been 5 stars all round!
Food is phenomenal. The Calamari melts in your mouth! The place is too loud to carry a conversation unless the other person is sitting next to you. I ordered a paella for the table and the waiter brought two single serve Paella’s... was it too loud for him??? I clearly yelled it was for the table?
