   Got there early for a reservation at 6 to go to Happy Hour. It was mayhem, found a table, sat there for 10 minutes, we got water and menus, sat another 10 minutes without a waiter/waitress acknowledging us. We left & had a drink at the bar. Then went upstairs for dinner. Ambience is nice but we’d prefer food menu downstairs. Service upstairs was great.

   Ride person seating us gave us a table with no lake view next to service Rude and exceptionally lousy watress more interested in her friends than us. Food was ok to poor kind of cold to Luke warm premade entrees. Old tasting Expensive and poor food and service. I do not plan on returning nor will I recommend this establishment

   We had a great experience! Nina was our server again and she provided excellent customer service! We love going to Jake’s for special occasions because of the fantastic food and service!

   Had our NYE dinner here. Nice views of the Marina and lake. Food was good, it’s a nice atmosphere. Seems like a fun spot for lunch and happy hour also.

    I made reservations several weeks in advance. I requested the middle table by the bay window overlooking the lake, but when we got there that table was taken. We were seated, unfortunately, next to a party of three… An older couple in a middle-aged woman who had no clue of, how loud they were the entire time we were there it was miserable! Even another older couple by them were shaking their head and got up and left after eating. We always come to Jake’s when we visit Tahoe for a special dinner and this time it was miserable the entire time we were there. The waiter was not very at either, he kept helping tables on both sides of us who ordered a lot more than we did.
