Thought I was in Paris! Croque madame and croque monsieur for lunch. Delicious!
Excellent food. Friendly and good service, reasonable wine list. Fun atmosphere for all ages.
This is a neighborhood gem. We only discovered it a few weeks ago. Love the decor, servers are great and food is delicious. Try the apple tart!
Another great meal at Jacques. It was a busy and crowded on Saturday and I was a bit concerned. But once we were seated, everything went perfectly. The food was fantastic (the escargot is a classic and the shrimp with guacamole were super fresh). The service was impeccable...we stayed late and the switch in servers went without a hitch. Thanks for a fabulous evening (and a fantastic table!)
Great place- excellent menu and ambiance. I will happily return.
The Valentines menu and special event was lovely. This is the 2nd year I’ve celebrated there. The lobster salad was delicious, and the rack of lamb was generous.
Had an unexpectedly great time. Aziz was one of the best servers, he was very accommodating (have multiple food allergies). Also, he recommended a wonderful wine. Highly recommend definitely will be coming back.
Beautiful setting, great service and wonderful food.
Great neighborhood restaurant! Food was delicious, stuff were very attentive and friendly. Ambiance feels like Paris.
We will be back.
Food delicious....Very nice ambience....fully recommend.
Love Jacques! Great food and ambiance. Fabulous bar!
Amazing food, even better environment, lovely romantic breakfast.
Music was especially great- the singer terrific!
Jacques Brasserie is what all similar establishments should be: slightly formal, yet relaxed; friendly atmosphere; great food and drinks; and, overall pleasant environment. Whether you are looking for a place to have a meeting, go on a date, or just enjoy some french cuisine, Jacques is a good choice.
We were given a table that was easily accessed by our handicapped friend. The staff and particularly the maitre d were extremely helpful. The meal, as always, was delicious, service outstanding. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
Outstanding- - as always. Needs nothing more said.
We dined at Jacques last Saturday, the food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive even how busy it was.
We just moved to the neighborhood, will definitely come back.
Glad we fond a local place like Jacques.
Outstanding food and service!
Always a great experience. Our out of town friends considered it their second honeymoon. Their first was in the 80's, in Paris.
This place reminds me of Paris. Went with a friend for dinner. Food was great. Will definitely be back!
A cozy UES brasserie that is a neighborhood gem. Good food, plentiful wine and nice but not overbearing service... nice combination.
Enter Paris through the velvet door.
Fantastic food and atmosphere!
WE came in for a bite after a movie and the Host/Server was rude and annoyed that we came in. It is usually a good place for us, but the person that greeted us put out such NEGATIVE ENERGY that we considered leaving. However at this point it was 10:20 and not too many other options.
Someone needs a talking to....
New Years Eve
New Year’s Eve
The food and service is always excellent!
It's French to the core. Delicious food. The Maitre de who seated us was a bit standoffish at first, but once we established that we'd been to France, he took our order and kept a close eye on the wine bottle…and everything else. The noise level was just enough to be interesting, and—bonus!—the party of six next to us was all French. Highly recommended.
One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Terrible food, awful service, expensive, and bad atmosphere. Avoid this place at all costs.
Great Food & Service and not overpriced- u think you’re in PARIS
Great wine list and steak frites.
Coming back soon.
Christmas Day - no hassle
This is our lovely little go to restaurant. Good food, good service, good value, and it sits in a most comfortable, serene and charming space.
One of our favorite places in NYC for years! Reliable, professional and cozy too!
Every time I dine at Jacques Brasserie I have the most wonderful experience. The food is simply divine! Sometimes I find myself dreaming about something I ate there and wishing I could eat it right away. The ambiance is perfect, a charming French bistro reminding one of Paris, and everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. Truly a NYC gem.
Service was excellent ...atmosphere was very comfortable. Sunday brunch menu was varied and everyone in my group enjoyed their entree and wine. Highly recommend.
Made this reservation for my friends, the busser was very inappropriate and passed lewd remarks to them which made them feel extremely uncomfortable.
Loved the food, but that guy ruined the experience for them.
Excellent as usual!
Good dependable standard brasserie fare. One loud party can significantly raise the decibel level.
food always good ., waitress attentive., love the atmosphere.
wish you would bring back the onion tart you u used to make.
