Merci Beaucoup and Stay Safe!
Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a formal main dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. At the brasserie, diners may enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. These friendly establishments are immensely popular with Alsatians and visiting them is always the best part of my trips back to Alsace. I opened Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez François to bring the tastes and comforts of the Alsatian brasserie to Great Falls.

Always fabulous Alsatian French food, which is why we return again and again!
Nice weekend drive to get out of DC and pretend you’re in France. Consistently good service and excellent food. Both an excellent food and wine menu.
I’ve been to Jacque’s Brasserie several times and it has never disappointed. I don’t know the name of the Maitre de who covers the Brasserie - he’s been there every time I’ve been and is always fantastic. The food and service were great - my date was impressed
Always a great place to dine. Food is excellent and the wait staff is the best
We love each visit we make to Jacques- it is always a treat and so delicious. It’s the best part of our month.
I had a lovely lunch and was so impressed with their food and service. I can't wait to go back after Covid.
I was disappointed that a man sat down while I was enjoying my soufflé and recounted very loudly to his lunch companion how his mother-in-law who is 92 and lives with him and his wife came down with Covid and was admitted to Reston Hospital the day before with covid and pneumonia. I quickly pulled on my mask and motioned the waiter to let me pay from far away. It is absolutely not the restaurants fault, but I was astonished that this happened.
The waiter brought the check and was truly professional about the situation (sympathetic, offered to wrap up the soufflé, asked about the rest of my meal, etc.).
Have been going there since the 70s. I have never, never ever had a bad experience of any type at this landmark restaurant. Looking forward to returning in March!!!!
We go to Chez Francios relatively often. But I must say, this was one of the best meals that we have ever had there. They keep getting better and better. Can wait to see them again in the spring.
We always enjoy Jacques’ Brasserie. Part of it is the location away from the maddening crowd in the countryside. The food is always delicious. The service is great but not fussy. And the value is amazing.
We've been customers since they were on 17th Street. We love this place!! It has a great ambiance, the food is superb and the service is excellent. We're certainly going to miss it during the closing months. Looking forward to their opening in April.
We celebrated our Family New Years Eve Dinner (delayed) on Jan. 10 at Jacques Brasserie. The food and service was wonderful as usual. We were able to sit outside on the patio with a heat lamp which was lovely with a view of the gardens and the roaring fire pit. It is amazing to have this French Country Inn right in our backyard!
Outdoor seating inside of a tent with heaters. Quite comfortable with tables spaced far apart. They also have seating by a firepit, which looked lovely! but cold.
Smaller version of L'Auberge menu, with dinner available as well as apps. Wagu tongue wonderful.
Perfect evening.
Great food as always. Sat outside by the fire pit with one other table also out there. It was in the low 30s, but they tended to the fire throughout the evening, so we never got too cold. Service was fantastic - again, as always.
A nice cozy dinner on a cold night, so the French onion soup was perfect as an appetizer. The waiters were very helpful and seemed to anticipate our needs before we could even ask.
Fantastic lunch to celebrate my friend's birthday. Everything we had was phenomenal and the waitstaff was incredibly attentive and sweet. All around wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back.
Another amazing meal! The French Onion Soup is simple perfection. I have dreams about the chive and mushroom crepes...There is something about the fine texture of the filling combined with the tomatoes and truffle sauce which is addictively delectable! The filet mignon is prepared perfectly every time and melts in the mouth. Service is persistently attentive, yet never overbearing. There is a genuine desire for all guests enjoy themselves and Chez Francois never disappoints!
Very special place. Everyone is so attentive and friendly. On a rainy cold Sunday Jacques is the perfect place to put you in a great mood. Too rainy for the outside fire - normally a favorite stopping place for an before or after dinner cocktail. But the haddock special was cooked perfectly and came with a beautiful array of vegetables. Just a terribly relaxing time with good food - a wonderful setting to spend time with my beautiful partner.
Danny and his team outdid themselves! the Chef did a great job on all the dishes! Salmon was excellent!
The staff at Jacques’ Brassiere is amazingly accommodating and attentive. We had lunch outside on a warmish sunny winter’s day and it was delightful. Mulled wine and French onion soup helped warm us up from the inside out.
We had a lovely New Years Eve dinner at Jacques Brasserie, sitting outdoors on the patio with heaters. We were surrounded by twinkling Christmas lights and in full view of a roaring firepit. The food was delicious and the service prompt and efficient as always. We already have reservations to return next week for a family Sunday dinner!
Excelltfood, service, and atmosphere.
Great food. Loved the atmosphere.
Love this place! Always have an amazing meal. We had Papa’s bouillabaisse and it was delicious!
Tables are set apart and we sat outside in a tented area and felt safe.
Ambience is so nice too. You feel like you are in French country inn.
Highly Recommend!
Atmosphere and food are clearly reminiscent of a good brasserie in one of the more upscale arrondissment of Paris. We had the special - grilled halibut with roasted veggies. The Loire sauvignon blanc was a perfect accompanist. Started with some excellent local raw oysters. I finished with my fave - the Grand Marnier souffle. My wife had the Bouche de Noel. Classic holiday dessert. Tasty but really, really rich. Overall, another great experience at this restaurant. Note - you get what you pay for at places like this!
Always love this place
The Brasserie is in a beautiful, well appointed location. It’s cozy downstairs, and the food and service are always excellent.
Doesn’t get better than this place.
We had a party of 4 eating outside. Jacques has a nice outside area including a heated covered area with good ventilation. I think it is about as safe as it gets eating out. Staff is attentive but mindful of the anxieties covid brings with it. The dining experience from food to service is exceptional. With Danny and Hassan working the front and dedicated people like Jose , Jefferson and Sandra working the bar and tables, it could not be better. They always try and provide a nice experience at Jacques. I would also complement how extensively they can assist those with food allergies like Gluten Free. They also have a friendly online ordering internet site for take away. Please support this great establishment.
Wonderful food and service.
Wonderful experience as usual! The fire pit outside was a nice bonus!
The outdoor seating at the Brasserie is perfect, and I’m sure the fire pit is inviting when it’s lit.
The meal was exceptional as it usually is there.
It is cozy in winter, but is always a special place to go. Food and service are always excellent.
Given, the pandemic, the outside dining in the tent was very well done. Food and service was excellent. It is getting cold and the flaps on the tent were closed, but the door to the tent was opened somewhat frequently, which made us feel more comfortable in our efforts to avoid eating under indoor conditions for the present.
We were eating outside due to Covid. It was a very windy day. The food and service were amazing.
Great birthday celebration, wonderful food and service.
Always love a visit to Jacques’ Brasserie! The food and service never disappoint and they are doing a great job complying with COVID restrictions! Love this place!!
The waiter brought me the wrong dish
It wasn’t what I wanted & it was $20 more
Even during Covid, L'Auberge excels. Well worth the drive to Great Falls.
My third visit in the past few months as I now live closer. I will definitely patronize the Brasserie more often as it is more casual than the L’Auberge however still offering excellent service. 🤩
