I finally made time to check out Jacques Brasserie for brunch. The soft shell crab special wa fantastic and the biggest siftshell crabs I have had in a long time. This is definitely a classic to keep on the list fir a more upscale experience

You can always count on Jacques' Brasserie to be outstanding, and last night was no exception. The food can't be beat nor can the staff. It was wonderful to be greeted by Danny, served cocktails by Jose and to see Sandra. We cannot wait to return.

Outstanding in every way! This is truly one of the great restaurants I have ever eaten in in the US and abroad. Fantastic food and equally excellent service. We have been coming here for 39 years and little has changed except, if possible, it just keeps getting better. The atmosphere is charming (think French Alsatian countryside) and the entire experience is not to be missed.

Our dinner at The Brasserie was generally quite good. The service was flawless and the ambiance was pleasant. Only a slightly gummy veal sauce and some overcooked spaetzle (a mortal flaw for any Alsatian) kept the experience from being superlative.

I am gluten free and restaurants are challenging to find. L'Auberge Chez Francois has a wonderful selection of gluten free options and the waiters are wonderful to work with for any special requests. Also, outdoor dining at the Brasserie is a treat!

We dine here a few times a year, for a long while now. Service was not as attentive, timely or polished as usual. My wife’s steak was over cooked. Every place has a bad day and we will be back.

Jacques' Brasserie is an excellent alternative to L'Auberge with the same attention to food and the same outstanding service. The menu is pared back from L'Auberge and is simpler and more accessible. The dining ambience is also more low key and informal. If you don't feel like dressing up for a fancy dinner, this is a great place to go for the same quality of food and service and a more casual atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Chez Francois never disappoints! Both the service and cuisine were excellent. We made it a point to dine at this time to take advantage of the fresh tomatoes from their garden - both the tomato salad and gazpacho soup. Which were wonderful. We dine there every year, once or twice during tomato season. Remember the Brasserie for a great ala carte lunch or dinner experience!

French bistro food. Fine but very average (from a French person). This is my third trip to l'Auberge, twice at the Brasserie. I have never been impressed by the quality; it does not compare favorably to places like the Diplomat in DC or others. On a number of occasions the food was overcooked and too salty. Last meal there there were 2 sauces for the tenderloin, one competing with the Bearnaise...

A Great dining experience with my son. He last had escargot in Paris a couple of years ago and has never had it ever since, but he did enjoy the escargot yesterday at the restaurant. Salmon was great and the dessert was also very good. What topped off a great lunch was the exceptional service of our waiter Hugo who was a experienced and kind gentleman who took good care of us plus the weather was fabulous and we enjoyed being seated in the outdoor area.

Wonderful evening out with friends. Sat on the covered patio, which has fans, so even a hot summer evening was quite manageable. Started with the house aperitif, always lovely. Then had the seasonal gazpacho made with fresh produce from Jacques’ garden. Dover sole was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the chocolate soufflé never disappoints. My friends had the onion soup and the gazpacho, the rockfish special and the salmon, and finished with the chocolate torte. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable without being at all intrusive. We lingered for sometime after finishing dessert over coffee to enjoy the pleasant evening.

It was a wonderful place to celebrate my mother's 82nd birthday. She had gone to the restaurant with her mother when the restaurant was in DC (a number of years ago). The food was lovely. Some of the wines by the glass were expensive, but the pours were generous and the wines really good. The souffles are spectacular. I would go just to eat the souffles. My only negative comment is that the inside of the Brasserie is really loud. It is hard to hear the servers and often hard to hear each other.

Had the most lovely al fresca lunch I have had this side of the pond in years. Went with a good friend of mine and we sat outside and basked in the beautiful weather and scrumptious food.
