Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez Francois
Chef Jacques Haeringer
quieter downstairs than Auberge and alacarte menu is a great choice!
30th Wedding Anniversary!
Even though my husband and I were in NYC for the weekend to celebrate, our special occasion would not be the same without sharing it with L’Auberge. Our first anniversary was celebrated with you, all, Ana many, many more to follow.
Thanks for another meaningful memory!
Another great and delicious meal at the Brasserie! We always appreciate the high level of service and seeing our favorite servers again and again.
Always a great experience and amazing food. One of my favorite places!
Everything is excellent, from food to drinks to the service. A great experience!
An extraordinary restaurant with really excellent food. Its expensive, but not ridiculously so. The ambiance is cozy and nice, but my biggest gripe is the noise. Jacques is a smaller space with tile floor and the noise of diners talking sometimes just builds on itself. Hard to hear the waiter and my wife. That is the only reason I did not give it five stars. That said - GO! - its worth the time and effort to get out to Great Falls.
My wife and I have been going to Jacques' Brasserie for years and it's always five stars. Wonderfully consistent, delicious french food and attentive staff. Just the best. We always leave happy.
Doesn't matter if you like a certain type of food or not, you WILL love it here! Everything is perfect!! -the wait staff, the management, the atmosphere, and of course the FOOD.......Will be back again and again!
The crew really works to provide a nice cozy experience in the Brasserie. Danny the Maitre d, is always welcoming and personable. The food is authentic French Alsace, fresh from local vendors or Jacques garden. We love the outside patios in season, and on medium cold days they have been trying out a new covered space on the patio. You may be very close to the hustle of Northern Virginia, but this feels like you have been transported to a French country inn!
Upstairs at L Auberges, one should check out special events like wine tasting or New Years Eve.
I’ve been going to Chez Francois for over 30 years. It is my favorite restaurant and is always consistently outstanding. Jacques Brasserie stays true to the tradition of great food, outstanding service and excellent value. The atmosphere is warm and you are treated like your a real friend of the family. I always recommend both venues to my friends.
Yes would recommend t o friends, in fact take friends there quite often. Always a great evening. Thank you.
Warm and welcoming. Good food and great service. A place to linger, to converse, to enjoy dining as social experience.
Pam is the best bar tender they have ever had. Amazing with mixed drinks! Dinner is always delicious!
We'll be back next week!
Jacques' Brasserie is consistently excellent in all aspects. Every dish we have had has been superb. Deserts are to die for !
Excellent as usual!!
Love the expanded, covered patio! The food and service are always first-rate, and now we can eat outside all year. Love this place!
As always superb service, attitude and exemplary cuisine.
Perfect setting for a birthday celebration. The food, wine and service were excellent
Friends in town, 2 birthdays within the month to celebrate.
The atmosphere was friendly and laid-back, and the food and service were excellent! Menu selection is a bit limited, but I have been here a few times and always have been happy with my meal.
Always perfect! Service is impeccable, food is delightful.
Sandra, who served us, was outstanding!
Excellent in every way!
We have been coming to L’auberge Chez Francois since the late 1970s. More often than not, we have lived at least 3 hours from Great Falls; but we always try to travel down your way at least once a year. As always, our visits have been way above superlative. This was our very first visit to the brasserie and could not have been happier.
Noticing your participation in Tauck river cruises, we look forward to any 2020 dates. We have decided to be there too.
Again, merci bien. An evening exordinaire.
Jacques is always a great experience. It was particularly nice on a Sunday night where it was more quiet than usual. Food, service, and ambiance were as good as always.
Another perfect evening at Jacques'. The service and food are always impeccable, never rushed and always gracious. We're regulars.
It's always a pleasure to come to this place. We love it. It was our 5th time (french people living in DC)
Danny and his Brasserie team do an outstanding job!! Thank you!!
We all love our visit to Jacques Brasserie.
Everyone was friendly and professional -and enjoyed the relaxed non-rush atmosphere.
We will certainly be coming back agaain.
Thank you very much
Always a treat. Will return soon. Proud of my Alsatian heritage, I enjoy the pleasurable taste of my
This is a 5-star restaurant all round! Delicious food, great setting, and superb service.
Superb brunch! Love the new expansion of their outdoor patio. What a beautiful setting.
Ordered the salmon per the server's recommendation and was not disappointed. It was delicious! Warm fall day, we sat on the patio and the ambience, quite "countryside" is apt. Drinks were delicious and the maple sorbet dessert is the best.
Always great. Lots of kids running around patio today - not bad kids just noise and running around detracted from the peaceful ambience you normally get on the outside patio.
Still a great experience.
Simply wonderful. Gorgeous setting for outside dining. Very French. Everything is delicious and made with love. Staff are outstanding.
The usual excellent food for value( crowded, noisy, but it was a Saturday night. Service missed a beat on dessert menus/ordering, but it was busy and apologies accepted.
We had dinner recently to celebrate a birthday at Jacques' Brasserie in Great Falls. The setting is lovely, especially the intimate brasserie seating and pleasant outdoor area, though the high temps and humidity kept us indoors on this visit. Service was professional and courteous, without being intrusive. L'Auberge and its Brasserie focus on locally sourced ingredients, with this season's sweet tomatoes the offering du jour. I had the tomato soup that was rich, velvety, and filled with flavor without the need for a cream base. My husband added chunks of fresh tomatoes grown on L'Auberge's property to his garden salad. My rainbow trout was served in perfectly prepared filets accompanied by vegetables braised to perfection. My husband's chicken dish was also a hit. Desserts included one of the Brasserie's signature soufflés and a seasonal tarte aux pommes. We dined early, which proved to be advantageous as the noise volume increased as the table filled to the point where we had to join the rest of the throng in shouting across the table to be heard. It was definitely a fine place to celebrate the occasion.
