Ordered the porterhouse from PEI. Cut my steak with just a fork. Melted in my mouth. So good!

I asked for Chicago medium rare but got just chicago.

Service was great from the moment we arrived. Wine list is massive with something for everyone of discerning taste. Table side Caesar was entertaining while steaks were cooked perfectly as requested and seasoned excellently. Dessert and birthday message was sweet. Highly suggest ordering half sides for smaller parties as they are quite large.

This was a great meal. Attentive service. Nice ambience. It's not 5 stars only because of the price, which is very high, but you could argue you do get what you pay for hear. I would definitely recommend it for a special occasion.

This was my 2nd time dining there and it was as good as the first. Amazing steaks, very pricey but perfectly cooked. Service was top notch, the take home muffin was the best.

We really enjoyed the service, the servers were amazing. The only complaint we had was that we ordered our steaks medium (the 40oz porterhouse and 14oz Wagu ribeye), but they came out medium rare, as soon as we cut into the steaks they were extremely red and bloody. Eventually they cooked it again on the grill but we were full at that point and didn't eat it until the next day. It was kind of unfortunate considering our bill was over $700.00, we expected that the steak would be cooked perfectly. They didn't even apologize for that. But overall, my fiancé and I enjoyed our dinning experience there, it's quite an experience.

Very pricey but worth every cent. The popover bread is so delicious the servers have to remind you that the steak is coming.

Best steak house in Toronto!

Amazing selection of beef including wagyu from Japan, Australia, and USA. If you're going here, you should really splurge on the Japanese wagyu - the most buttery, marbled steak you could ask for. Worth the price. They are also very accommodating with sharing plates so go with friends so you can try different steaks. The bone marrow is also super fatty and if you're already eating wagyu, I'd suggest skipping the bone marrow lest you be overloaded with fat. I would definitely recommend and would absolutely come back.

Amazing place overall

Everything was good but the food was warm and not hot. They made up for it but just wasn’t expected. We could have always asked it be heated more but we kind of just ate. Everything was good though (flavour and all)! Still one of my favourite restaurants

Was the best steak dinner we have both ever had, will definitely be back!!

Overall it was a good dining experience, the table beside us knew one of the managers/sommelier and asked for wine recommendations repeatedly, from cocktails, white wine and red. The manager/sommelier came back multiple times and his behind basically kept brushing against our food. I shifted them away from the edge of the table a few times but we had a few different side dishes and there was only so much room on the table. He just kept leaning lower and lower to speak each time he came back, even one of the nearby waiters noticed. If it wasn’t for that, would have been a 5/5 dining experience.

Everything was amazing. Service was great and very professional , they make the salad in front of you. Steak was cooked perfectly. We went there for our anniversary, so they surprised us with champagne. The only downside I have to say is it was a bit noisier than I expected. Otherwise, everything else was great.

As usual, Jacob's never disappoints. The service here is always excellent with the high price tag. The steak is always cooked to perfection and they offer half sides so that you don't overwhelm yourself with too much of 1-2 things. It's great for people who like more variety in their sides. A memorable experience every time we dine here, if you can afford it - it's definitely worth it!

Excellent meal

I was recommended to go to Jacobs and Co by a friend. My father and I were in Toronto visiting and I surprised him with dinner here Wednesday night (2/21/18). Upon arrival I immediately noticed that this is a restaurant that takes pride in its appearance and it is a beautiful place. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable regarding the different meats and tastes. I don’t remember her name but she was wonderful and did a wonderful job.

My father ordered a ribeye cooked MR and I ordered a tenderloin cooked MW. When we placed our order we were informed that it takes a little for the steaks to be cooked and if we wanted any appetizers to let her know. About 45 minutes after our order was taken a manager came to our table and told us that our steaks were “resting” and it should t be much longer. My dad and I took it as there was an error with our order and they didn’t want to admit to it.

Well after waiting close to an hour and a half we got our steaks. I cut my steak and immediately saw that it was raw, not Medium well as I asked it to be prepared. They took my steak back and told me it should be about 5 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes for my steak to return. My father and I both agree that the steaks were just as good as other steak houses we have been too and we’re disappointed in the overall meal.

For a meal that costed close to $300 (no apps, two steaks, 3 side dishes, 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine) we were extremely disappointed. Throughout the time we were waiting for our meals we expressed our concerns regarding the wait time and at no point did the manager come over to us, besides the one time to inform us of our meat resting. As I mentioned in the beginning, this is a place that you pay for “the name” just as you pay more for a pay of Nike running shoes. We have plans to return to Toronto, however we will not be returning to Jacobs and Co. extremely disappointed in this restaurant and management. Will not recommend to others.

Our server was fantastic and very accommodating and the food was the BEST we have ever eaten!

Always amazing. The piano player is fantastic. The device is top notch, and the food wonderful. Completely worth the hefty bill.
I recommend getting bone marrow with your steak.

This is one of our go to places and it never disappoints. While pricey the value is great.
