Loved this place. Nice and quaint. Food was delicious and the scenery was beautiful.
Most of food was delicious but grilled chicken wasn’t actually grilled ( cooked fully, just not grilled). Meal came out same time as appetizers. Limited beer menu.
Sushi was very good , other food eg half duck, general Tao below par. Cocktail drinks very below standard.
We had all seafood dishes and everything was excellent, both hot entries and sushi.
We love this place but management needs to improve. Way understaffed for the reservations. Our waitress was awesome but had way too many tables which caused slow service. There was only 5 wait staff which of normally 20 for a Saturday night.
My wife and I have been coming to Jacky’s for years and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food and service are consistently good and a they provide an excellent value for the product. Jacky’s is one of our go-to places when we are in downtown Providence. Very happy to see that they survived the pandemic and that the restaurant was full of customers last night.
Great value for the money, food was fantastic and very well done and extremely fresh.
A must for great sushi.
Beautiful restaurant. Beautiful outdoor seating/setting. Romantic restaurant. Great food.
Fine spot with a patio on the river.
While I am empathetic about the fact most restaurants are short staffed, restaurants should book accordingly. We made reservations at 8:45pm and didnt get a drink until an hour in. We received an incorrect dinner order and literally were left felt that we were forgotten about
Best Sushi Seafood fried rice and Bomba for dessert is the best
Our dinner was excellent we can't wait to go back.
Amazing food and service
All the staff was very kind and our bartender Peter was wonderful!
The group I was with started the night at the bar and then were seated for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks and we were satisfied with the service. The food here is exceptional and I wild definitely come back.
It was a great experience very polite, all the sushi was amazing especially jackys cake, entrees were awesome the steak is cooked perfect easy to cut. Great experience all around
It was nice to be back. Food was great and service excellent.
I came here for my birthday diner, the food was really good .. I'll definitely comeback
Excellent as usual. I had Nime Chow and the stir fried fresh lobster. It was amazing. Have been here before and will certainly return.
Everything was fine until the manager decided to argue with me about steak temps because I ordered medium but it came out medium well twice. Mind you , I’m a kitchen manager for a living.
Food was good atmosphere was great view is perfect
The decor and overall ambiance are great. Out server was helpful and honest about her preferences, customer preferences, etc. Ordered the sweetheart roll, mr. lonely, eel & avocado maki as well as gyoza and crab rangoon. The Mr. Lonely was good, but not spectacular.
Overall the food is simply okay.
Great food varied menu - great service - great views of the city - valent parking
Excellent food and fantastic service!
Great sushi! Great food! Will definitely come back with more friends.
Overpriced for the quality of food. Tom yum soup was like water broth. Service was slow.
Great all around!!
Love this restaurant. But like everyone else they need more help. One service quit in the middle of her shift! Our server was running like a nut.
Our first visit here having just moved to the neighborhood (its a one-minue walk from where we're living). Beautiful ambience, extensive menu, spectacular service (Meghan, our server was as good as it gets), and a relaxing vibe, if a little loud as the open floorplan leads bar noise to travel throughout the dining area. The only slight disappointment was the food itself. It seemed to lack some real flavor, it was just a little shy in that area whether that was in the sushi, appetizers or entrees. We'll go back because the overall experience was terrific and we'll try other menu items to see if there might be better choices.
Always a lovely location. Furniture looks tired with stained upholstery. Very slow the Saturday we were there - only one other couple indoors, but we waited more than 30 mins for menus. Food was lukewarm when delivered and not nearly as good as it was last year.
Waiter did not understand us when we asked two questions. What is in the sauce and if poured on or mixed throughout. Also asked for sweet and sour toppings to be on the side, he questioned sauce and we said yes and specified the fruit mixture too. Plate comes out... sauce on the side but not the fruit-veg mix which we specifically said.
He also did not use our money that we left to pay bill. He came back with change for the entire amount so then we had to ask for different change. Had he just used the money to pay the bill like we said, just return the change, we would not have had to make change again. No refills were offered on our soft beverages. No dessert offered. The service was subpar. The food was excellent. My friend has intolerances and said she would risk it because he could not tell us anything about the sauce. Communication is so important in the restaurant business.
This place use to be good. I use to enjoy coming here a lot. My last experience makes me want to scratch this resturant off my list. The food quality has gone down drastically, the service was nothing to write home about. The waitress forgot multiple items in our order and each time we reminded her, she still forgot to bring an item! Service was very slow (it was not a busy night). I ordered a mojito and it tasted like trash, the local pub down the street makes a better mojito, I believe a new born can put together a better drink than the mojito I was served. I rejected the mojito and requested a beer. Again another bad decision, the beer was not even cold, the most insulting part was that they topped my beer with a stale old funny looking lime. My son requested oranges juice and it was also bad. Management here need to re-examine quality. Do not blame COVID-19 for poor quality.
Loved the food. Busy night because it was Mother’s Day so it was quite loud too and the food took longer.
Wonderful staff, quick service, delicious food and affordable, quick service
It was time to get some clients together and get a nice business lunch in this late covid19 era. Jacky's is a wonderful place, with great food, service and ambience.
Graduation celebration with a large group and everything was great!
Great place to have a nice outing with your friends. Our waiter was super nice
Date night with great friends
