Our first time and it was fantastic! We went when everyone was home watching the football game and we practically had the place all to ourselves! Great service, food, and ambiance! Will definitely be back!
I am a long time lover of sushi, my wife is hesitant, but the Hawaiian and lobster bliss rolls are perfect for her! Wonderful time and enjoying getting her more into one of my favorite ways to eat out! We will return soon as always.
Surely and vacant bartender. OVERLY salty food!!!
First time at this restaurant while staying in Providence. What delightful surprise. The service was excellent. The food was superb. Definitely would like to go back there and try some other dishes.
As always service and food was excellent! Nice relaxing atmosphere.
Excellent Food & Service!
Great food and great service. Our waitress was great and friendly
Took our three kids there and couldn’t have been better. Will be going again soon!
Christmas dinner tradition!
We go every year on Xmas day. This year, unlike other in the past, the kitchen, bar and serving staff did not seem to be ready for the crowd. The wait was long for food and drinks which was not typical.
The restaurant was a huge disappointment. The food was tasteless and bland. The service slow. It was awful. Don't waste your money.
Excellent food. Outstanding service with Alex. Definitely will be back. Great location overlooking the Waterford water area.
The food is like fast food Chinese. Not that great. Was expecting better quality Chinese food.
Great quality sashimi and beautiful presentation. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to my dinner guest with gluten free options down to knowing that a particular sushi roll sauce was made from wheat vinegar. I’ve never had a poor quality meal at Jacky’s and this evening’s dinner did not disappoint.
Service was great - especially appreciated the complementary parking on a cold night. Food was not as good as expected for price.
First time at Jacky's in Providence. Have dined at Jacky's in North Providence before and prefer that location mostly due to ease of parking at that location. Food was very good and plentiful and service was also very good.
Great food and service.
Great service... great food....great time!!
I ordered a special Mr. Mango roll and was angry to find out that it's advertised on the menu as having King crab in it and had crab STICK in it. Mentioned to server and he lied and said it was actual King crab. I know crab STICK when I see it. Please do not lie about what you are serving the public. We loved your restaurant but since this we are thinking twice before coming again.
Easy valet parking and great place to celebrate a birthday. Very festive
Jacky’s Waterplace was excellent as usual. Al, the manager, took very good care of my family.
Excellent food and excellent service and excellent ambiance
Always great food and service
Jacky's has a fantastic view of Providence and its atmosphere inside is elegant yet relaxing. The Asian menu provides many options of fusion rolls, tempura dishes, vegetarian options and sushi. It is a great place to meet friends for a drink or dinner. You can actually have a conversation at a table. On this evening four of us gathered to catch up and enjoy dining. Jacky's delivered and the valet parking makes it easy to dine without worry of finding a parking spot.
After we were seated, we waited forever for a server and finally my husband got up from the table to go find one. His food came out noticeably later than the other 3 and his steak tips which he ordered medium rare were quite well done. Did not want to complain as it was our first night out with our guests and did not want an issue. Then after we paid we had to chase a waiter down to get a code to validate the valet. Really not pleased.
Best food and best service. Wonderful staff.
Sushi was great. Ambiance is excellent. Clean and bright. Server lacked personality but was ok
Food and atmosphere was fantastic. A bit pricey. We bought a $9.00 bottle of wine for $36.00.
For parents 68th anniversary we chose this for the ambiance, view and delicious food. Excellent choice!
We had a reservation for 815 and we were not taken to a table till after 9pm and everyone we asked they just said it was busy and we could 15 minutes after our reservation however we waited 45mins. We make reservations for a reason not to wait as long as no reservation
Overall experience decent. Wait time fairly long & unacceptable with reservations, but restaurant remedied the situation when questioned.
My friend and I come to Rhode Island every year for Rhode Island Comic Con, and make it a point to stop by Jacky's! We're always seated pretty closely to our reservation time, and the service is always top-notch. I have a gluten allergy, and the waitress was VERY attentive to letting me know if things included gluten. I was very impressed.
Great place to eat. Located in a scenic spot with great city views. A wonderful place to bring out-of-town guests.
Great location, Great menu.......Food is outstanding!
Love this restaurant we go there often highly recommend
If you an open table customer and are using a reward, make sure you bring your email confirmation and print out of the reward. We had some trouble using it and for some reason it took some extra explaining.
Valet and check in is all good. The big window atmosphere looking into downtown is as expectedly “urban scenic” on a nice night.
Service is solid as expected with the attentiveness one would expect. We went on a weeknight and the place was not overly bustling so it was comfortable for us.
The food is a mix of fusion sushi, Chinese classics, Thai, and other southeast Asian dishes, with classic American desserts. If you want a bit of everything, this place is ideal as we feel the preparation is with care and the presentation nice for special occasions. When it comes to Providence upper end places, Jacky’s belongs on the list of places that define the scene.
I met a friend for a late dinner. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, staff were friendly & the atmosphere was intimate despite the roominess.
The sushi was beautifully presented and some of thee best I’ve had. The drinks were really good too.
I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back!
This was my first time at Jacky’s, as I have always wanted to go. I was pleasantly surprised that the items on the menu weren’t as expensive as I originally thought given the great ambiance. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was my drink. I ordered a martini that was very hard to finish because of the amount of alcohol in there otherwise everything else was wonderful.
Great atmosphere, Geat Food!
