As the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra enters its 97th season, it is dedicated to promoting the well-being of the community through engaging musical activities. This is a wonderful opportunity that will offer newcomers and symphony enthusiasts alike an evening dinner performance by Pensacola Symphony musicians. There will be two seatings for this event: 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. In addition to our full dinner menu, which will be available for the evening, Chef Miller has prepared a special feature for the event

In anticipation for the upcoming celebration, Jackson’s Steakhouse is proud to present the 14th annual wine and food tasting, “Vive la France,” on Thursday, July 13, at 5:30 p.m. Bastille Day is the French national holiday, la Fête du 14 juillet. It commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison in 1789, an act that led to the conclusion of the French Revolution and the beginning of French independence. With Bastille Day serving as the inspiration for the tasting, our own Jean Pierre N’Dione has hand selected four stellar French wines to complement a selection of classic French dishes as prepared by Chef Irv Miller. Jackson’s was excellent as usual and fully met our expectations. Our server, Tanya, was attentive and very good without being intrusive. One of our group has said Jackson’s is the best restaurant she has been to anywhere.

We had to wait too long for our food. Also, if I’m laying 50 dollars for a steak, I don’t expect to pay additional for veggie and starch. Tables are not real, very uncomfortable. The staff was very nice, food was nothing to write home about. Definitely not worth the dollars.

The New York Strip steak was a little chewy on either end, but the middle part was amazing. Overall, the service was great, the atmosphere was terrific, and it was a amazing place to eat and sip wine for our anniversary. I highly recommend Jackson's to food and wine lovers, as well has history lovers.

Love dining at Jacksons. The food is fantastic which we went on Prime Rib Tuesday and the Prime Rib was the best we ever had. Jacksons is one of the nicer restaurants in our area. Food and presentation are always done very well. The fried oysters done on the thick, smoked bacon were excellent!

I’m a simple man who enjoys a good ol steak. I’m one who can’t tell you the difference between a $75 steak or a $15 steak so the price was a bit high for me. But I knew that going into it. My wife and I went for our anniversary and wanted to go to a nice place. Food was good for sure though. We really enjoyed our experience.

Wanted to treat my mother to a special birthday dinner for her 75th - Jackson's staff couldn't have been any sweeter to her to make her feel special during our evening! Our waitress (Sophia) was attentive and seemed to be clairvoyant as to when we needed her services and when we wanted to be left alone. Everyone at the table got a steak dish (14 oz Delmonico and Steak Medallions) - prepared exactly the way we requested (Medium Rare). The sides - whipped potatoes and brussels sprouts were fabulous! We saved room for dessert - the Chocolate Mousse, Bread Pudding and Deep-dish Cheesecake were all hits! If you are looking for a place to celebrate something special or to treat yourself - Jackson's is a home run. I do not recommend this place for families with young children unless your children are well-behaved - while people are not dining in silence, rambunctious behavior (whether you are an adult or a child) would not fit in here. No need to wear a blazer and tie - to dine, but IMO if you come dressed in less than business casual (no jeans or sneakers) you may feel a bit under-dressed.

The steak, a delmonico, was not the quality we’ve had in the past. Too much fat and a little chewy. Very disappointed because in the past Jackson’s has always been a favorite.

The Tues prime rib special was outstanding, cooked to perfection. Birthday guest gets a Happy Birthday menu and and a complimentary luscious ice cream coated with chocolate s syrup. Service was excellent , no long waiting and server hostess was excellent . A great birthday celebration!
