Jacksons Restaurant + Bar
Great atmosphere. The service is outstanding. Highly recommend the pineapple martini!
Excellent as always!!!
Good food and atmosphere but ridiculously slow service as always. So unorganized. I was embarrassed that I suggested this place to my friends that were with us. I’ve been going to Jackson’s for years and hoping each time the service gets better but it never does. My wife can’t stand the place because of it. We will not be coming here again.
Friendly service, from the hostess to our waitress. Top notch. Appetizers timely, drinks on time as well. The prime rib was excellent and my family enoyed their meals as well. Can't wait to go back!
My husband and I have eaten at Jacksons many times. We love the menu, they have THE BEST steak around. Whether you're a Filet Mignon or Prime Rib person, they always prepare it perfectly. Side dishes and salads are prepared with just as much care for the texture and flavor of what they serve. This is a great place to eat with friends, family or for a date night!
Always a great time at Jackson's on a Friday---great food, wonderful entertainment with JOLO and superb service with Ruth, Jenna, and manager Ben!!!!
Food is great! Service is hit and miss; sometimes it is great and sometimes not so much. It seemed to have degraded over the past three years. Little things that make dinning a "not so good" experience. Forgot to bring things you asked for, simple things like straws, another glass of water, lemon, etc. Not on just one experience but often on most visits. Six out of ten times the order are not right; mostly small things, but still not right.
I keep going back because the food is good.
As always, the food and service was excellent. Looking forward to an updated cocktail and dinner menu as warm weather approaches. Probably my favorite restaurant in the area.
The food is always amazing, the atmosphere is outstanding and the staff are always welcoming. We tried the bar menu instead of the fine dining menu and were not disappointed.
The food and the service were as always impeccable. Thank you
89 yr birthday celebration
Weekend with my sisters.
A rare find while traveling! Attached to the Hilton Garden Inn, Jackson’s replaces the standard Hilton fare. Fine dining at its best, mussels, salads excellent, seafood stew and stuffed chicken breast excellent. One of the best meals we have had in a long while. Martin, our waiter was the best at service, suggestions and knowing the menu.
Be prepared for the bill. $160.00 for two, but it is worth every cent!!!
Prime rib night was delicious as usual. Brussels and salads (chopped and wedge) were delicious as well.
Great atmosphere ..wonderful service .. spectacular food . Will definitely be back
Always a great time at Jackson's on Friday night---service, food, entertainment--the tops
I really do have to give them five stars because the food was outstanding and the service was great as well. At the beginning, courses were moving slow but once we told them we were in a hurry, they delivered quickly and the quality and service did not suffer at all! Little pricey for everyday dining but we’ll definitely be back for another special occasion! Amazing filet and the chorizo chowder is out of this world!
I took my husband for his 65th birthday dinner and it was very good....was a bit noisy though.
Our server was excellent and overall the experience was great.
Delicious food at decent price. Pretty large portion size.
Although a very fine establishment it does not live up the better restaurants in Pittsburgh. A bit pricy for the local and everything is ala carte which skews the cost.
We had the Berkshire pork chops and the honey garlic chicken... both awesome. The field greens salad with house vinegrette was delicious as well. Our server, Mike, was terrific and Ben, the general manager, was on top of everything. Truly an exceptional experience and possibly THE best chops I’ve ever had. Exceptional value as well. Will definitely return on our next trip to Pittsburgh.
Everything was very good. Everyone seem to enjoy their meal. I do miss some of the items that had formerly been a part of the menu that are no longer there.
Our dinner was beautifully prepared and quite delicious. However, we waited in the bar for an hour from the time of our reservation, and never heard our name called when the table was ready. After an hour, we went and inquired, and got an excuse from the hostess, that she had called our name. We didn't hear it, and no one came looking for us, despite us telling the host that we would be waiting in the bar. While the food was great, that aspect of the service was really lacking.
Food and service were amazing! Wine list was very good.
We frequent Jackson's at Southpoint about once a month and love it. We always recommend it to friends and family.
Food was delicious. Server forgot to put our appetizer in and ended up getting it after our main course but she took care of it and didn't have to pay. Not overpriced for a little food which some nicer restaurants tend to be. Will be back
I took my boyfriend here for Valentine’s Day.
We had a bottle of red whine and steak and lobster with brussel sprouts and asparagus.
Everything was fantastic as usual.
I can not recommend this place enough!
We always have a great meal and good service at Jackson's.
Service was great but the kitchen was extremely slow. Would have been understandable if they were busier.
We had a very good experience at Jackson's. A very warm staff, concierge was excellent. Our server was very good and helpful. There was a large crowd and all seemed to be enjoying their dinner and was a very comfortable night. We will definitely return.
Good restaurant, salads and appetizers are good portions and the crab mac & cheese is excellent. The rib eye steaks we not the quality I would expect from Jacksons. There were 3 ordered at our table and they were very fatty.
Business lunch. Reasonable price. Efficient and friendly service.
ALWAYS a GREAT time at Jacksosons---Service by Paul, entertainment by JOLO and managed by BEN---supreb
Great food, great service. The only con was the menu was rather small.
Great overall dinner
My husband went to Jackson’s for our anniversary and everything was perfect! Atmosphere, food and especially the service!! Thank you for making it a wonderful evening.
Love the place, love the service, love the food.
We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and gave our name. Three couples came in after us and had the same time for their reservations but we’re seated before we were. After we sat down we ordered Dom Perigmon. The wine manager seemed rushed. He opened the bottle quickly and it spilled everywhere. The bottle was also only lukewarm - a $300 bottle should NOT BE SPILLED nor Lukewarm. The food we ordered was not prepared properly as well. Ordered medium well steak and received medium rare. Overall, they were not prepared to handle the crowds for New Year’s Eve dinner. Such a shame.
Our server was fantastic. I feel bad that I didn’t remember her name. The food was really good. The only problem was that several meals had wrong sides, and with the exception of my husband never getting his asparagus, everything was corrected. This place really is a gem and often times we forget that it is so close to us. We look forward to going back for our next special occasion.
