Food was excellent as well as the service! Ask for Ashley.
The food is very good. The only complaint is that I ordered medium rare and the waitress brought it medium and then tried to tell me it was medium rare. Piece of advice - people know the difference.
Excellent food, presentation and tasty. Large portions.
This was my first time at Jackson's, and I was pleasantly surprised. The service and food were very, very good. The menu offerings were gourmet, and the service rivaled the best in Pittsburgh. I had Skuna Bay salmon with a horseradish crust that was prepared perfectly. The prices were much lower than city restaurants, and sides were included, resulting in an excellent value. I'll definitely go back!
Three of us met for a 'girls lunch' and each of us had a terrific meal. After the table was cleared, we sat a talked for about an hour. Our waitress said we could sit and talk for as long as we wanted -- no pressure at all.
Birthday - the server was excellent and competent. Great experience.
Cindy our waitress was friendly, outgoing and quick to respond to any questions or request for changes to the food we ordered. Jackie the bartender is as pleasant, outstanding, friendly, makes an awesome drink and makes you want to stay and hang out at her bar. Jackie is one of the best in the business!
It was much noisier than other times we have been there and all 4 of our meals were luke warm. They apologized and offer dessert which we sent home with our older friend and gave a $15 gift card. Not sure what I wanted them to do but will think twice before going again.
The food and service was excellent. The children’s menu was awesome.
I dined at the restaurant while staying at the adjacent HGI. A band and singer were in the bar area playing Frank Sinatra and other oldies. It was relaxing after a long day. I ordered vegetable soup and pasta Bolognese. Both the soup and pasta were delicious. The soup was loaded with fresh vegetables in a tasty broth. The pasta dish was generous with plenty of meat sauce. It was also delicious. I could only eat about half of it and left with the balance in a box. Rachel, the server, was courteous and efficient.
I enjoyed very much my meal there today.
Great fine dining stop just off Rte 79 S.
Ideal for a nice quiet dinner with pleasant atmosphere and friendly accommodating staff.
Waitress did not have a good attitude.
ALWAYS A FABULOUS TIME AT JACKSONS ALONG with JOLO entertaining---------------------
Salmon dinner was wonderful. Waiter was attentive and friendly.
Jackson’s is definitely a place to go to for an occasion or to impress the person on the other side of the table from you. Heck if it’s your first time you’ll be impressed too. The menu is limited but has something for everyone. Prices are high moderate but the portion sizes from apps to desserts make it worth while. You’ll probably take at least half home to enjoy tomorrow. Food is well prepared and nicely presented by efficient and personable servers. The wine list also is not extensive but well-chosen, with most selections $38-50. And finally, we really appreciated the complimentary glasses of bubbly we got to honor our anniversary.
Good food, poor service and broken chairs
It was great
The food was very good, however, three of us got the same dish and all three presentations were a bit different, as far as portions of the salmon, risotto and vegetables on the plate. Our server was great, however, it took way too long for our meals to come. We arrived at 6:45 and I believe our meals came at least an hour later. Only two people got salad or soup.
I would go to Jackson's again, as the location is quite convenient to a trip to Pittsburgh when eating in the city is not an option.
Food was so good, the service was not.
Excellent service and food was outstanding. Highly recommend the Chef's Choice!
Nick Fiasco is a FABULOUS show---a wonderful time by ALL!!!!
Great food , service and atmosphere. We would go again!!
We had an excellent meal for 4 at Jacksons. Our waitress was exceptional - helpful, friendly, and accommodating! We will
Definitely be back as well as recommend to others!
We had been customers for many years but had a VERY bad experience a few years ago and never went back. I am happy to say that my wife suggested giving them another chance so we went back on Saturday night and the new management and new chef really have made a great difference. We were extremely satisfied with the service and the food and have put Jackson's back on our "A" list. I am very glad to see someone saw the problem and fixed it.
2nd time my wife and I have been to Jackson's for dinner. Will certainly be going back. Food was great- try the Brussel Sprouts appetizer! It was a slower night before Christmas, the entire staff was very friendly.
always a GREAT time ----Jenna, Hostess Manager----FABULOUS!!!
Four of us "girls" get together every couple of months, and we always decide on Jackson's. We especially love the choices from the Power Lunch menu!
Very loud. Hard to talk. Big Party going on 15 ft behind us and band playing in bar area.
My group of retired secretaries from CONSOL enjoyed our Christmas lunch with you. We all enjoyed it so much that we're planning on meeting there again next year (although this year, now.)
JOLO and evening GREAT as usual-------------------------------------------------
Beautiful dinner with my lovely daughters. The food and service was excellent with many dietary restrictions GF, dairy free and no shellfish. So accommodating and helpful. I come from out of town to this favorite place. Wouldn't miss this restaurant.
So glad our favorite waiter, Martin, is back!!! We like him to wait on us because he is so friendly and give you good recommendations.
Great food, great experience from beginning to end. Delicious food, waitress Jeannie went out of her way. Best service. Manager very friendly. My new go to place
Food was disappointing, service spotty, seating unsatisfactory
Very good food value and service. Thank you

Made reservation for four mid week for Sat evening. Received call/message left to call back to verify reservation on Friday. Understand need to confirm however wonder how many folks really answer; I had to then call back to confirm as afraid no call might mean I cancelled. With technology today a text or email requesting confirmation would be more realistic.
When arrived, seated promptly for 2 of us knowing another could couple arriving. The bar/resturant was NOT crowded. We were seated in the area where bar was and not main dining room. Thought this was odd when made a reservation. Also when seated my husband and I were taken to a small table for 4, almost like one you’d sit at for a drink only. There were several open larger, rectentangle tables with seating for 4. I requested larger table and said this is where you seat us with a reservation??? We were then allowed to select a table and told with a sarcastic tone, you can have whatever you want! Figures table I picked, once other couple joined us was wobbly.
Food was very good. I would hesitate going back, recommending due to snobbie attitude with seating. Ridiculous to be treated like this when you make a reservation and place is not even busy!
We have always enjoyed our meals at Jackson's, and this past Saturday dining with friends was no exception. We each had different dishes and all enjoyed our meals. Our only complaint is with the waiter, David, who seemed either confused or indifferent. It took about 15 minutes after ordering to get our drinks and David would occasionally stop by to ask if we needed anything. We ordered dessert and coffee after dinner; enjoyed dessert, never got the coffee. I highly recommend Jackson's in Southpointe, although I cannot recommend David as a waiter.
Great time as usual with JOLO and service staff at Jacksons!!----------------------
There's generally four of us and we always enjoy our meals. I have two other friends who I meet at Jackson's occasionally, and we love the lunch-special menu for the price and value.
