Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub At The Brewhouse Inn & Suites
We shuttle to all Brewers, Bucks, and Marquette games and Fiserv Forum concerts and events!
We enjoyed the restaurant and ambience but the fried cheese curds were awful.
Terrible service. Messed up order. Long wait for everything. (Not busy at all....lots of empty tables). Had to ask for water 3 different times before I got it. It was my initial beverage order. Not a refill.wont go back
Great place for friends getting together. Awesome drink menu.
Tasty Food and excellent service.
Great food and location, however customer service could have been much better.
We ate at Jackson’s recently before a concert at the Fiserve Forum. It was really busy so was happy we had reservations. We were seated immediately in a booth in the main bar area and it was very loud. Our waitress Margarita was fantastic! She was extremely attentive and patient, even though she had a lot of people to tend to. Cheese curds and onion strings were fabulous but the rest of the food (Ruben, Flatbread, Pulled Pork and Cuban) was just okay. They run courtesy shuttles Fiserv and the Brewers Game which is a nice touch.
Food was great, service was sub-par. We ate there a few times throughout our weekend stay in Milwaukee thinking that maybe the waitress was just having an off night but every time the service was sub-par with different waitresses.
We took the shuttle bus to the Bucks Game. After the game we walked to the pick-up location that the driver had pointed out (West of the Fiserv, across the street by the fire hydrant.)The Jackson Blue Ribbon bus never came. Called Jackson’s on my cell phone, was told the bus driver had parked the bus for the night and was already on his way home. Guess we walk to slow! (We were able to get a ride up to Jackson’s that night and did not have to walk all that way back!) THE FOOD WAS GOOD!
The food was very good and we got it pretty quickly after ordering. Service was good after waiting at the table for about 10 minutes. Some of the TVs were way too loud, could not talk or hear each other at times. Overall a fun dinner, but consider turning the TVs down a bit.
very unique decor respectful preservation of Milwaukee's past with a trendy new feel
Amazing food and facility. Recommend the giant pretzel and the cucumber basil margarita!
Had reservation as I was taking my son to Marquette game. Was 5 minutes late trying to find a place to park. My table was given away and I was put at the bottom of the wait list. Over an hour! No thank you. Too many other places in the city. Nothing special.
We were able to get a reservation here before a Marquette basketball game and they have a shuttle to the Fiserv Forum for patrons which is great! Server Kelsey was very friendly and super accommodating, probably one of the best waitresses I've had in the last 6 months! Food was delicious and we weren't made to feel like we had to leave at any point. Great addition to the Milwaukee restaurant scene!
Pre concert meal. Reservation for 5:15. Seated right away but it then took 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us.
Food was decent. Cubano sandwich was dry. Cheese curds were good.
Probably would give them another chance
We were a bit early for our reservation and no problem for Jackson's, we were seated where a small tag stated reserved. Service right a way, no time to get our cocktail order. By then we were ready to order our appetizer and meal. As we were ordering our meal we asked their thought between two plates we couldn't decide on , our waitress gave her recommendation, we went with it, and another winner's choice. As it was getting more crowded, we never felt that we were ever forgotten about. We were treated well whether five people were there, or a hundred and five. This made for a great evening! We will see you soon.
Great fun venue for socializing, watching sports on the many TV's or just having a Pabst.
Such nice, accommodating staff despite the large bucks crowd.
Staff really worked as a team, from the hostess to the shuttle driver. Great experience!!
great service and awesome atmosphere prior to a Bucks game.
Had dinner here before Milwaukee Bucks game on February 23, 2019, and also drinks here after the game. Jared, for dinner, was great - just the right amount of attentive; knowledgeable; helpful, too - we asked about a shuttle to the game, and he filled us in on the details; menu was extensive - three people for dinner, and we all enjoyed our meals.
One meal - the chicken caeser wrap - was very generously portioned, and good tasting. The hand-cut fries were a little too salty, but were pretty good.
Second meal - the Chicken and Waffle Sammy - was also generously portioned, aromatic (we smelled several orders of it passing our table), and tasted good, but the sauce was a bit too spicy for our taste.
Third meal - grilled cheese BLT - was delicious.
After the game, we returned for drinks and late-night menu items. One drink - the new-fashioned - was a hit. We also ordered parmesan-garlic wings (delicious!) and a giant-pretzel (the pretzel was truly giant, and also very good!). Kailye (and another bartender whom we didn't get a name for) were very, very good - attentive, nice, professional.
Overall, we were very happy and satisfied with our experience here, and plan to return.
Food was good, people that got burgers said very good, and service was outstanding.
The service was great. My son and I had sliced beef sandwiches and my daughter had BBQ. They had fries. I had their homemade chips. The chips and fries were delicious. I did not like the taste of the beef. My son thought it was just ok. My daughter loved her entire meal. The building is awesome!
A great place for family to enjoy a great dinner amongst a vibrant and fun crowd. Parking was a bit tough due to heavy snow impacting the area but once we were seated (which was immediate due to a Opentable reservation) we had a great evening. Would definitely recommend for folks looking to take family and friends out on a weekend. Great beer selection too!
Food was very good. Better than normal bar food. Atmosphere is cool.
Great food! And our server, Margarita, was fantastic.
Waitress was very nice and sweet. Food was good and portion sizes didn’t disappoint. The chicken & waffles I had were a bit disappointing as the chicken was very thinly pressed before breading. Was looking for a thick more meatier piece of chicken. The waffles we’re flavorful
Overall everyone enjoyed their meal.
Jackson's is always a good options, especially when attending an event our brewery tour in the area. The wings are really good and the options of Pabst's in all sizes is always fun.
Great lunch. Big burgers and Friday Fish Fry were excellent, but the homemade chips with sweet onion seasoning were the best!!
Great food & atmosphere !! Also love the shuttle to Bucks game !
Our new pregame favorite place to eat! Eclectic menu. Easy parking and access to arena.
Group outing before Marquette game. Waitress was great, food out on time, got to game on time. Great pub food.
I had been there before, it was pretty good. Last time though the food was sub par. Might go back for a beer. Would I recommend it, maybe
Cool spot! Only issue was that the sound system was on the fritz so music was intermittent. That created an odd vibe, but it should not dissuade you from going. Will be back!
Great food and good beer selection. Lots of Pabst options.
Very good fishfry, also ordered the chicken waffle sandwich. The waffle was amazing, the chicken was dry, and I didnt care for the sauce.
Overall, we had a good time, except our server was incredibly rude, so we did not tip well. He came back to our table multiple times with no time to actually make decisions and asked if we were ready in a very rude way. Our experience would have been at 100% if we had a different server.
Proximity to Pabst museum was why we went. Atmosphere and food were great. Nice bar as well. Servers were great. I don’t blame them for the slow drink service.
The food was good & waitstaff excellent but the noise level was ridiculous - even the wait staff couldnot year is & had to repeat questions over & over.
Everything great until we asked for our check. Waitress said would be right there. After that we never saw her again. After 10 minutes we paid at the hostess stand.
Went to Jackson's Pub several years back for a fish fry which was excellent. Returned with friends months later and the food was good. Went with friends earlier this week and was disappointed in the food. The fries were too salty. The Prime Rib sandwich was sliced meat (deli or so it seemed) and not an actual piece of prime rib. The sandwich was okay but I was disappointed as I expected better than what I received. The onion straws came out cold. Had told accompanying friends how good it was and was slightly embarrassed. Also, the City of Milwaukee ticketed several of our vehicles even though we had put money in the meters. Will think twice before returning as there are a lot of restaurants in Milwaukee.
Well, just an OK experience. A bit cold and drafty, but our company was great.
This used to be my favorite 'go to' place. They used to have "Dang That's Good" soda in a variety of flavors. Not any longer. They have 150 kinds of beer-but only one bottled soda and soda from a dispenser. What about us folks that don't drink alcohol. I get that just about everywhere I go to eat. I always order a plain burger because I am very particular. I ordered it medium rare and it came out no less than medium well-when I flipped it over-it was clearly charred on the side they didn't display. I did not send it back because I didn't want to wait another hour for a new one as we were on our way to the Bucks game. My husband had a chicken, bacon, cheese on Chipata that he said "wasn't very good." And he eats anything and he only ate half. I have always been excited to have a chance to go to Jackson's PBR---not so much this time.
The shuttle to the Bucks game is always appreciated especially when it is cold out.
