Pretty warm, even though we were on the edge of the covered outdoor dining. The food was decent, but definitely better for a brunch rather than dinner.
Food was really good, but one of the staff had a very large party of their friends next to us - they were a very rude, loud and obnoxious group. I’m shocked management didn’t intervene. Completely ruined the dining experience.
Love this place and miss it so much ever since I've moved to BK. Best vibes, best food, amazing playlist, great outdoor set-up.
My friends and I came for dinner in early December. We had dressed bundled up for outdoor dining but it was pleasantly warm where we were seated. The restaurant has heating lamps that are above almost every table. Since we came on a weekday it was very quiet and we were one of the few customers. Food was good and service was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Had a lovely time! Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere.
Great! The food was fresh and delicious. The place is small and there is a constant flow of people coming in and out so try not to sit near the door if you go in the winter time. Overall, I loved it and would go back again.
Loved the staff they were so warm and welcoming ! Love
I did not like it at all the service was begging for tips which made it feel very strange and not fun
Nice, cozy, very loud, very
It was a fun place to eat. Interesting cuisine and friendly service.
The service was awesome and food was amazing. The host was very accommodating when we ended up adding an extra seat to the reservation! This is a smaller location than West Village, but very cozy with great ambiance!
Love it every time. The service is amazing. Food is amazing. So great with my large party
Jack’s Wife Frieda is my go to local. The food and drinks are consistently outstanding - hearty, flavorful and satisfying. But the restaurant is so popular, it is usually packed to the gills and very noisy. Go for the food, not the conversation.
This is one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is excellent without being too pricey. You get good value for your money. As for service, everyone is very pleasant. Our server was divine; he really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, that our experience was superb. I recommend this place without hesitation.
Wonderful food. Unfortunately, it’s so popular for brunch that they rush you out pretty quickly so they can seat others.
Overall a great experience. Just very loud and a bit cramped
Had a great brunch with my family in town! Great food and super friendly staff
Jack’s Wife Freda was a wonderful experience. Some friends had recommended it from their recent trip to NYC. It is a cozy place with lots of energy and a locals feel. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. It was busy, but we never felt rushed. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and presented well. I highly recommend this restaurant for that local NYC neighborhood experience.
Arrogant service. Not polite. I was never treated this way before. NYC has much to offer. Avoid this place.
Literally the loudest place I have dined in the past 20 years living in NYC. Had to scream to be heard. Good service and decent food but could never return. Just a horrible dining experience.
It was a fantastic evening! The restaurant is really cool but without any pretense, which is rare in the immediate area. Peri-peri chicken, short rib burger, and roasted garlic were my favorites. Thank you to Jack’s wife Freda staff for making it a great meal with close friends!
We absolutely LOVED everything about this place! It was a highlight of our 8 night girls trip to nyc
Lovely brunch and wait staff were excellent
Was lovely, great food and service! Love JWF always a good vibe
We had a large group- and some were running late- the staff were amazing at accommodating us and although it’s a tiny space we all felt comfortable. Food was yummy and we shut the place down. Will be back
I went here for my small engagement party dinner with friends and it was the most epic night. The host and staff were so accommodating even when we were all running a bit late. The food was perfect, and they had a special fresh watermelon juice margarita that night that was divine! Could not have asked for a better evening. I can't wait to go back. xx
Such a special place! We had a memorable brunch, incredible food and drinks!
I reserved a table for my cousin's 21st birthday and we had a wonderful experience. All the workers were incredibly accomadating and friendly, we loved the food, and the decor/lighting made for a cute brunch experience. 10/10 would recommend.
Good food, small place
Jack’s Wife Freda was the perfect brunch spot to catch up with some friends in New York. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend if you haven’t been!
Arrived first on a rainy Sunday morning. Friendly staff, excellent t service. Teenagers loved the Rosewater Pancakes and I thoroughly enjoyed the Breakfast Bowl. Great mesh of flavors!
The food was very good but we were a party of five and could not have a conversation. The noise level was probably the loudest I have every experienced. For this reason, I would have a difficult time recommending to someone else.
Super cute place in SOHO! Our food was outstanding, the rosewater waffles were delicious! The mint tea was so fresh like right from an herb garden! It was a little small but we were comfortable. We had reservations for 6 but then only 3 could make it. We cancelled our reservations and were really worried about getting in but we got in right away! If you like fresh healthy options this is a great place to go!
Ungemütlich und laut
Seriously awesome! The food was beautiful and very good. It was cozy and charming. It was somebody’s birthday so They turn off the light and everybody sang happy birthday to the person, it was pretty cool.
I fortly recommand this little restaurant ☺️
Our friends got engaged and the staff were incredible! Sent over all sorts of stuff , came and chatted and got a fab table
The noise level was a problem. We couldn't hear each other talk it was SO loud. Everything else was amazing! We went home with the cookbook. YUM
had a birthday party here for 13 guests, food very good, if pricey, service impeccable
Could not see one single smile fromt the waitress during our visit, we barely got to eat and drink up our food before the check came, but nice area and facilities...
Good brunch. Had our table ready as soon as we walk in. Good brunch, efficient service.
