Nothing to write home about; left me wondering why this is so highly rated. The food quality was quite basic and pedestrian, the portions were lean, and they seated four of us on such a small table that we had to put several of the items on the floor in order to accommodate just the plates ... the service was pleasant but rushed. Not something that I would yearn to visit again anytime soon.

My friend ordered the green shakshuka which looked good but maybe not very substantial? I ordered the duck bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and was very happy with it. Service was attentive and friendly. It’s not the cheapest place in town (and, being new here, I’m still getting used to NY prices) but I think it’s decently priced and nice to find some unique items on a menu.

My sister and I heard great things, decided to check out the place for ourselves while we were on a trip to visit NY and we’re definitely not disappointed. Our waiter was extremely good at their job, mentioning their favorites, pairings of cocktails, and popular items on the menu. They made us feel comfortable and at ease, no rush but also no issue getting the check in a timely manner either.

It was my grandsons 9th birthday, so we did a family trip to NYC. This place was recommended to us from a friend. The staff was absolutely amazing. We were a party of 7. They did a super cute birthday sing to my grandson. We were leisurely enjoying our dinner and never felt rushed! We will definitely recommend Jack’s to friends, and we will return!

Spicy chicken was good, Steak was terrible, like shoe leather. Good think my friend and I had lots to catch up on because the staff didn’t even know we were there, completely ignored us and took our order after 29 minutes. We had a nice corner booth tho and nothing terribly unpleasant happened.
