The seafood tower should have not been close to $145 so the items and presentation. The cioppino was not even close to being cioppino it was more of a stew and not very good. We had 2 orders at our table. The pasta dish was very bland. Overall experience was not what I expected being inside the Ritz and spending $500.

We were seated in the back where there were no other diners, so that was kind of concerning. Food was okay but not special. Cerviche was overly acidic and the Grouper was dry. Had a “bacon jam “ with it that looked awful. Coffee was lukewarm. Not the best dining experience.

We went here for breakfast on Sunday and it was very good. Great environment, our server was very friendly and was a good server. Love going here as the food is always wonderful, ambience is relaxing and enjoyable.

We ordered the seafood tower. Which is steeply priced to begin with and both were sick later that evening from what we suspect was the smoked fish dish part of the serving which has a somewhat sour taste. Besides that the noice level( loud music) from the surrounding area ( hard to controle by the restaurant I know) was rather disturbing. The server on the other hand was truly exceptional. Altogether a very mixed event.

First experience was on a packed Sat. Night a few years ago. This experience was a moderate Friday night. I expect more from the Ritz, especially compared to the past. I mention the audience because maybe it was busy previously and we didn’t notice. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. Shrimp and grits were very good, if not a tad over salted. We were seated on the bar side which totally lacked ambiance. It was too hot for outside. The whole place looks like a lounge with couches and tables. I wanted an upscale feel to pair with the rather limited menu. We went to Drift the following night, prices were comparable and we had a better meal and experience. This isn’t a restaurant off the beach or even with a boat doc so no need to be so casual.

We went here for breakfast and it all was very good. The other person in my party had the silver dollar pancakes. I tried them and they were the Best pancakes at a restaurant ever. Love the ambience, service is great, staff is friendly and the food is excellent. We go here often.

The lobster roll was delicious and the fish tacos were great. As always, service at the Ritz is impeccable. It's relaxing to be there because there's nothing to worry about!

Everything was great. Food; ambience until I got an alert from my credit card company that my card got hacked. The only place I used it was at Jack Dusty. I never use it on line. Someone from Germany got all my info and went on a shopping spree. I notified the manager of the restaurant that it happened from there. Don’t know what happened after that. But a major pain to have card cancelled and then wait for new one to be reissued. You would think a place like the Ritz Carlton would be especially cautious about their secure connections. BRING CASH!

Wonderful dinner at Jack Dusty's! We were celebrating our 21st anniversary. I requested an outside table on a HOT July evening, but it really was very comfortable once we sat down and cooled off from the 5 minute walk from the Westin. :) The staff treated us like royalty, everyone knew our names, and they ended our evening with the cutest "Happy Anniversary" dessert of sorbet. I don't eat desserts very often, but that coconut sorbet was delicious. The views were spectacular, and I'd come back here in a heartbeat. Thanks to all the staff that night for making our anniversary special.

We discovered Jack Dusty years ago after it opened. It’s now our preferred spot for driving from Tampa to celebrate anniversaries. We love Table 500, which gives nearly private sunset views perched above the pool. The cocktails are always on point, (we ordered an extra dry martini and an Old Fashioned) the hospitality amazing. We were addressed by last name by everyone from hosts to runners. Christopher, our server, and Kathe, a manager, we’re very attentive. The ceviche, raw oysters and Jack’s Fries were the best of the apps, but we enjoyed the calamari and fish dip. And the brown bread starter is always a lovely touch, as is the swirled whipped butter. We split the cioppino and it was the right amount. Thanks to all who made our 33rd anniversary so memorable.
