Jack Binion's Steakhouse - Horseshoe Tunica Ratings and Reviews
Server was nonchalant and unenthusiastic. Attire was soiled. Entree arrival was untimely, cold, and salty. Overall experience was disappointing as compared to recommendation and other comparable stark houses. As dad us revisiting this restaurant is questionable.
Unfortunately we were seated at a table with dirty silverware on the seats. The seat was broken and my best friend was sinking on her side. We changed seats. Our dinner was not cooked to order. We received the wrong order and the food was not up to par for the price. Our server kept getting the order wrong and not once did she apologize or make it right. We asked to speak to the chef but he was busy playing manager, supply and other duties. It was my birthday. I drove from Alabama and my friend came from Washington DC to spend it with me. I noted that on the reservation but they not once said anything or try to make my dinner right. I have dined here multiple times before. It used to be amazing and the food was terrific. But now it is sub par at best. Still disappointed.
Very disappoinred with service; had a 7:15 reservation and waited 30 minutes to be seated. It appeared that there was a staffing shortage, as it was at least another 10 minutes before anyone came to the table. Our waiter was very pleasant but the service was incredibly slow. Fortunately, the food was excelkent, as always.
Literally waited 35 mins after ordering 2 iced teas before they were delivered. I had to ask the bartender and another server also. Slow as Christmas. Overpriced. Asked for a manager and no one ever came. The $70 tomahawk ribeye (most expensive steak on the menu) is 50% fat. The $80 crab legs are literally 2 legs. Not claws, legs! This place has been going downhill ever since Jack Binion was muscled out. It is a Caesar owned casino so you shouldn't expect anything better anyway. Won't ever pay to eat here. Only if i have a comp.
Except for having reservations for 7:30 and not being seated until after 8 this place is outstanding!
Our server Barry was a true professional. Answered all questions, made recommendations and was politely sociable. His timing was perfect!! He was always there, without being there.
Our meals were fabulous! Our steaks were delicious! All other food was cooked to perfection and went together well.
Overall our dining experience was one that will be talked about with all our family, friends and co-workers.
We highly recommend this dining experience!
Great restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I was with a group of 8 and we all loved our meal and had a fantastic time. Be advised that food is a la carte so there are very few meals that come with sides that are not an extra cost. VERY pricey, but SO worth it! Great for anniversaries and date night!
Saturday dinner was excellent, signature salad with beets and Steak Diane was perfect while my boyfriend had a NY Strip and said it was cooked just right. NY Eve we ended up back there as the competition had a $160 price fixe menu that was not posted and the host here was able to seat us in the lounge. This price fixe menu of $125 was a little better but my halibut was overlooked and dry. The filet and lobster was very good. A little disappointing and I should have learned from past holiday dinner menus, not to do this. We will go back again on a regular menu.
We had eaten at Binion's a while back and really loved it. Not so great this time. Tomahawk rib eye was of poor quality and very undercooked. They were out of the much lower priced bone-in rib eye and the staff bad-mouthed the boneless rib eye, so maybe this was an "up-sale" ploy for the $70 tomahawk. We opted for the expensive tomahawk and very much regretted it. Service was good.
The restaurant is located inside the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica,Mississippi.
We ordered a sampler plate with lamb chops, filet mignon and beef roast with potatoes and asparagus.
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice.
We thought the prices were high for the area and food, but worth trying.
Dinner at Binion's was delightful. We took advantage of the prix fixe menu options, which represent a good value. Our server, Keith, was friendly, attentive, and professional. Caesar salad and Binion's salad were very good, and the braised spare rib was really nice. Dessert choices of chocolate cake and fresh sorbetss were also worth recommending.
Took forever to get service. Then my wedge salad was swimming in dressing literally. Then my steak came out and tasted terrible, sent it back for a new one. The second steak came out way under cooked, I asked for medium it came out rare. For a steakhouse you would expect good meat and cooks that know how to filet correctly the first time.
We enjoyed our dining experience at Binion's. The restaurant was "overwhelmed" by the pre-concert crowd, and our meal took longer than usual. As soon as the concert goers were fed, the pace picked up. Our server, Ming, was pleasant, friendly, and professional. My wife enjoyed a vegetable plate, and I found the prix fixe 4 course Steak Diane meal to be generous and tasty.
Meal , specicaly the steaks (2) were uneatable poorly prepared and cooked Very disappointing for a steak house that’s terribley over priced to begin with. I’m plus side the waiter was cordial and accommodating bringing chef to our table, chef was very understanding and kindly and appropriately took care of our check. In the end we were disappointed that we didn’t have the meal we looked forward to and have previously had at Binions
I have eaten at Binion's several times before but just took my dad there to celebrate his 89th birthday. Our waiter Terry was very personable and friendly and the service was great. Our food was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Tunica!
5 of us ate at Binion’s this past weekend on Saturday night. By far the worst steak restaurant. Most of us ordered the trio meal that came with a choice of salad, entree and dessert. We didn’t get our salads or first drinks till 9...we had 07:45 reservations. Steaks didn’t come out for another 30 minutes. We told the waiter to immediately bring the desert and check. Checks were all wrong and the steaks were terrible. I could have gotten a better steak at Waffle House. We didn’t get out of the restaurant till 10. Service at this restaurant was completely unacceptable and the food subpar. Please do not go to this restaurant. We ate at the Chicago restaurant next door the night before and was much better service. Worst dinning experience I’ve had in a long time. Will not go back.
