I made reservations on Saturday night at 8:30. My birthday had been last Tuesday and we were just now getting to celebrate. Unfortunately we were seated at a table by the kitchen door. People were continually going in and out or congregating by our table. My husband ordered chargrilled oysters which he said was delicious. It went downhill from there. Salads were delivered. They were ok. Our meals were swiftly delivered. My husband was still finishing his salad. My husband had the 9 oz filet. He said it was ok, but nothing special. His mashed potatoes were lukewarm. He added butter but it wouldn’t melt. I had a lobster tail which was good, but my potato was cold. They brought me a second potato, it was the same. My husband asked for more bread which never showed up. We had ordered beer with our meal. Thank goodness we had water too because we were never offered another drink. Of course, our water glasses were never refilled. We had never eaten here before. We were very disappointed. They took the potato off the bill, but for $180 plus tip, I expected a lot more.
The food was perfect. The staff was very good with just the right amount of attention. Our waiter, Terry, was professional and wonderful. We would definitely return.
Excellent service and food! Definitely order the crab cakes and the carrot cake!
First time and it was terrific, will definitely return.
I love it!!! This will be my 3rd night eating there.
The food was delicious, the service great. Maeasha who seated us is a real treasure. Very sweet, professional but interested in our enjoyment of our time there. Overall great!
We arrived at 7:20 for a 7:30 reservation. Told us to come back in 10 minuets even though it was obvious no one was at our table. Over cooked my husband’s 32$ hamburger, twice. We refused a third try. They apologized and comped a dessert and a glass of wine. My husband had to ask for refills on his drink. My salmon was cooked beautifully. True star of the experience was the cheesecake. Overall underwhelming for the cost, I expect more for such an expensive restaurant
We set our reservation for 7 pm. After arriving to tunica early we decided to eat an hour earlier. JB steakhouse accommodated us and the food and service was great.
A long time tradition of having some of the best dishes in the south. the Jack's Wedge salad is always to die for! We had the Filet Mignon and they were excellent as well. Mac and Cheese side dish is always a favorite.
Service is great and the atmosphere i was as expected for a five star restaurant.
Would recommend to anyone wanting great food in a quiet atmosphere.
We always get Keith as our server as he understands very well what we like. We usually get the bone-in ribeye and have never been disappointed. It is big enough to split if you want...we are older so splitting it is good. Onion soup for starters is our favorite and very good.
Highly recommend a nice place to dine. Go almost every Sunday night and always great service and food and host are very nice.
Good Was amazing. Our server Roosevelt was awesome! Will definitely return!!!
Steak and seafood was not seasoned well, if at all. Expected a better flavor from an upscale restaurant. Not pleased with the service either. The best part of the meal was the bread served at the table. Won’t go back, not worth the money.
The food is always outstanding. The service was lacking and it wasn’t because he was busy. I’ve had this particular server before and the service was lacking then too. Also, he looked at his tip in front of me which is something you don’t do as a courtesy. However, everything else was wonderful.
We enjoyed the environment.. the waitress did a great job making sure we were doing good..
The food and service was great. Had an issue with the A/C with water catch pans all over the floor.
This restaurant in Caesar's Horseshoe
Food was Good and Service was Great, I think the Short Ribs could have a little less fat, that made it very over loaded with grease.
My waiter Roosevelt was awesome. Food was amazing
Always great service and food. Steaks are delicious and all good is fresh and nice presentation. Nice dining without being over the top. Very comfortable and quiet dining experience. Would recommend it every time.
It was the best service and food was phenomenal. I tried the seafood pasta and it was better then I have had in Florida before.
Not what you would expect for a steak house. Definitely not a “fine dining experience”.
Ming was a great server.
By far the best food ever. Service was great. Reservation on time. Excellent.
We dine there almost every month and it's always great friendly attentive service, steaks are delicious and atmosphere is quiet and comfortable.
Prime rib was excellent. I also really enjoy the shrimp and scallops and grits here.
We ate in the bar in a booth because our favorite server was there that evening. Keith is an outstanding server and ensures our order is done to perfection. French onion soup, baked potato and bone-in ribeye....all superb.
Always a wonderful meal. Needed a road trip and a steak dinner after being home 4 months. Restaurant was clean and not very crowded. Enjoyed our filets and chocolate cake for dessert.
The atmosphere was just perfect and the service was excellent. The servers practiced safety while serving .
My wife and I expected more from this steakhouse. She ordered a filet to be cooked to a medium temperature. The initial steak came out very well done. They then made another attempt to cook a medium steak, but this time it came out rare. Put the steak back on the grill again, with this attempt being well done again. By then I was done with my mediocre meal, when her well done steak came back out. We will not be dining here in the future
We eat here any time we are in Horseshoe Tunica. The food is always great.
Excellent service, food was great. Desserts are outstanding and large servings. Highly recommend for fine dining!!
Went for birthday dinner, couldn’t have picked a better place. Every thing was perfect, was even surprised with a 12 layer cake, our waiter was beyond phenomenal.
I visited two days in a row. Day one was disappointing. Our waiter Matt was friendly but not attentive to our table. Examples include 10 plus minutes to bring our drinks and the bread arrived literally 30 seconds prior to our meal which took about 35 minutes to arrive. The meal itself was mediocre and not what would be expected from a respected Steak house. Day 2 the meal and the waitress was much better. She was brisk and attentive and our drinks and bread arrived within minutes of us being seated.
VERY DISAPPOINTING, smaller portions, much higher prices, we won't be back
Ordered the French Onion soup starter and found it to be extremely rich and overpowering. It was served warm rather than hot and the cheese had begun to set firm.
The accompanying Bread and mini-muffin was palatable but nothing special and would have been better served with a decent grade butter than the whipped nonsense that came with it.
The main course was their featured 6oz filet of aged beef which was ordered on the rare side of medium rare. Of course, it arrived medium-rare on the well done side with a warm grey center. The accompanying baked potato was nicely presented with a flight of add-on's including that whipped stuff, sour cream and bacon. The rub used on the filet was extremely salty/spicy which overpowered the aged steak and made the meat totally tasteless. It was tender but that was expected from the cut. I would not recommend their premiere dishes.
I am glad that I ordered this rather than their more expensive plates and I will avoid this restaurant in future visits.
This is our second time eating at Jack Binion's (different locations). I was impressed by the steak. It was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I found the lobster bisque to be just average (although my husband's french onion soup was delicious!). All in all, it's a nice place to eat, but a bit over priced for the food and service you receive. I've had better for less.
Service was horrible. Food was very mediocre and fish was the worst tasting fish I have ever eaten. Totally fishy and disgusting
The food was wonderful and the service was great.
Food was excellent and our server was friendly and very accommodating. Love to eat in this restaurant and we plan to return next time we are in Tunica.
