The restaurant is great, a little disappointed in the clientele people were wearing shorts, baseball hats, t-shirts, crocs…. Not something relevant to the passion and execution of the chef, service and wonderful food. The hotel/casino doesn’t do a good job of telling you where to park, drop off or pick up for the restaurant. I missed an Uber because the driver picking us up didn’t know where to go, got lost in the parking garage under construction and ended up going the wrong way on a one way entrance. Very frustrating and disappointing venue but the food, drink and service were outstanding.

I’m sure they get great reviews, however this may be our last dining experience eating here. We were asked what type of water we wanted and asked for iced tap water. An order of bread came which went fast between the 4 of us. We then place our order and asked for some more bread and was explained to us there would be an additional charge of $1.50 per person ($6.00) which we declined. Two of us ordered the Caesar Salad to split and one in the party said tasted very fishy but was explained did not have anchovies? Two ordered Fillets and Two ordered pork chops. The fillets appeared to be okay but the pork chops were covered in strong and thick spices taking away the pork chops taste. We did not care for this. One in our party asked for A1 Sauce and were charged $4.00 for a small bowl of their sauce. At that point we finished our dinners and asked for to go boxes and explained how to box each order. The one assistant picked up the plate of the Baked Potato and placed the plate on top of the plate with the fillet? When the to go boxes came they were not what we asked for since the orders were mixed up. Along with that the Asparagus was left on the table and we reminded them we asked for them to go. A few minutes later we were advised the had dropped them or something and they would get us another order. When that party returned home with the Asparagus and opened the container noticed how they were practically burnt and threw them away. Oh, in addition 3 in the party had ordered baked potatoes which were not fluffy but hard. We were not impressed with the evening with the service, some of the food, the way the to go order was delivered and the additional cost for the sauce. When you are spending over $450 for dinners you would think that the bread and or a sauce of $4.00 could be included with the meal. Is Gordon Ramsey hurting that much for money?

My expectations were crazy high. Knowing that the bill was going to come do I assumed that I would have an experience like no other. I had waited 56 years to try my very first beef Wellington and so I ordered the four course meal. The staff was incredibly attentive. The ambiance was amazing. Portions were exactly what I expected them to be. There wasn't a moment hesitation was placing a plate aside for them to attend to it. They were extra kind in the packaging and made sure that I had everything I needed. They certainly did not have her but they were very attentive throughout the entire experience.

It’s was our first experience at the steak house it’s quite a nice space and the service was impeccable. The food was good but a bit pricey. Our steaks were good (Filet and Beef Wellington) and perfectly cooked but we didn’t love the sourness of the mushrooms and the Cesar salad wasn’t great. It was basically romaine lettuce covered in Parmesan cheese and a word dollop of dressing at the bottom of the plate. My espresso Martini was delightful. We just feel when we spend that kind of money for a dinner the flavors should knock our socks and it didn’t.

I used to really like the peri peri chicken. The last few times I’ve had it, it was not cooked well. The chicken texture is not good and we only ate the leg. Very o er priced for the amount and quality of food.

I've eaten at Gordon's several times using casino comps. I would never actually pay to eat there though. The steaks are good but not much different than Ruth Chris or Mortons. The sea bass was good as well as the short rib. I did not care for the Peri Peri chicken as it was very dry. My biggest issue with Gordon's compared to other higher end steak houses is with the portion size to cost. A baked oyster appetizer was $24 for 3 oysters. The sides, which should be made for sharing based on the cost, barely feed 2 people. For desert I got the pot de creme and it came in a bourbon glass that was less than a quarter filled. It was about 6 bites and it was gone for $13. And don't get me started on the drink prices at $24 for an Old fashion with Angels Envy. Before Gordon tries to charge crazy prices for mid-tier bourbon he should remember that he's across the river from the bourbon capital of the world. We go to Las Vegas a few times a year and the prices at Gordons in southern Indiana are about the same as Las Vegas. But there, I expect to pay it. Not in Indiana. The service is always very good here, and its the main reason we eat there sometimes with food comps.

We were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary as my wife is a fan of Gordon Ramsey so we decided to go to this restaurant. All the servers attending to us congratulated us. My wife especially enjoyed the lobster risotto and sticky pudding. I had the salmon and it was extremely tasty. We plan to return with my brother. It’s pricey but for a special occasion- it’s worth it.

They changed the menu some since we were there a few years ago. No more lobster bisque so they now have corn/crab soup. Underwhelming to say the least, no crab. Then the crab cake was cold and they had to make another. The second was delicious but half the size of the one from our previous visit. Second time ordering the short rib entree. Was not dressed, no mushroom sauce, more like pot roast. We were told we would get complimentary cheese cake as it was our anniversary but was charged $14 for the cheesecake. Probably won't return.

Waitress was very nice. I ordered the crab soup. It was very cold like it was just taken out of the refrigerator. I asked waitress if it's supposed to be cold, she said no, sorry about that. The table was very wobbly. Waitress tried to fix it and could not. Did not offer to move us. Just blamed the floor being not even. My wife's wedge salad came without blue cheese. Server said oops, then brought her some out in a cup. I ordered a Ribeye; it was very good but very salty. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, overall, it was ok. Not what one would expect for a 5 star restaurant. For the price, we expected more.
