We had the fresh local sea bass. It was cooked to perfection. We have never had a bad meal. The server was attentive and efficient. I will be back again.

This is a nice local restaurant and the service was very attentive and efficient but the food is mediocre at best. Drinks at the bar were fine but if you are going to charge these prices then upgrade your wine glasses, and the quality of the food. Menu is broad with many options but maybe offer fewer dishes of a higher quality.

Food was great. Different than we remembered but haven't been in many years. Grandfather used to go in at 4 am and help both Johns (and Phil before Phil opened in LBch) in the 1980s to mid 1990s to help clean and prep calamari. We had to get some calamari in his memory; it was "new" calamari but so delicious. Everything everyone got was tasty! It was our son's 25th birthday and he has heard us talk about the Majestic and Trani's in San Pedro and he wanted to go. The restaurant had a birthday card at the table for him! What a thoughtful touch! The dishes were varied (miss having a picatta on the menu, may just not one of that night's dishes) but still great options and a variety of dishes. Thank you Trani's for the memories - new and old.
