Service and food was wonderful, as usual! We had the steamed dumplings for an appetizer, they were delicious. I had pad Thai with chicken and my husband had Chicken Diavalo. The dishes had so much flavor! The sauce on the chicken d was incredible

We went for a family dinner for my son's Birthday. We haven't been there in a while so it was a nice change of pace. The food was excellent and the service was even better. I wish I could remember our servers name but it was clear she had been there for quite some time. She was great! We will definitely consider this when another special occasion comes up.

We booked for Valentine’s Day, when we got there at 8 we were told kitchen is about to close. Had to make super fast choices. Menu super short and food was beyond average. Potatoes were cold. Dessert felt like it was popped in to microwave… not restaurant quality at all

Our server, Barb, was spot on! We had a rather complicated (or so we thought) selection process for our dinners, but everything arrived without a hitch! The avocado toast, chop salad and chicken and shrimp fried rice were soooo good. We will be back soon.

We went on a Friday night and we were surprised that their happy hour lasted until 7. We sat in the bar and ordered piles of fried appetizers which benefited greatly from being served piping hot. Had a very serviceable cocktail for only $7. Our server was personable. Overall felt like a good value for happy hour.

Server was not very attentive. 4 orders… $45 Filet order medium rare was very rare yet ver charred. I ordered chicken sandwich and it was just okay. I think something on it was bad, either chicken slaw or sauce. I got the runs about 90 minutes after meal. Another meal was salmon and it was very dry and not flavorful. And 1 kids meal. No alcohol and $100 check for an okay meal at best. Love J Liu generally but this experience wasn’t great. Server and head hostess were openly making negative comments about the table finding next to us after they had left and table was being bused.

Both of our dinners were not correct. They took both of our steaks back, and my husband’s came out fine. I ordered a medium steak. It came out, rare, not even medium rare. The manager came over and told me “the chef “will be taking care of my steak. The steak came back the same way. No one came back to check. The waitress felt horrible. Took my dinner off the bill. So all I had for dinner was half a salad. When I called to talk to the manager, she said there was a party upstairs. I explained it was not my problem. She thanked me for my constructive criticism. I will never go back.

All of the food was prepared under cooked. Salmon, hamburger and steak (which was basically just seared and it was rare inside ) were all under cooked for the way ordered and then said something and still wasn’t fixed. Waitress was very nice!

We were on a search for the next best Sesame Chicken in Columbus with China Way now closed. Sadly we'll need to keep looking. The Chicken was very tender and cooked well but the sauce had no flavor to it. I had the Chophouse burger with a BBQ (like?) sauce. A bit sloppy but otherwise ok. The pretzel bun wasn't bad, but I think I would had preferred a typical burger bun. We also tried the Crab Rangoon which was perfectly good. The cooked Avocado was a bit more on the charred side vs. cooked. The bar was a little noisy where we were seated. The server was nice but a bit more in a motherly 'Eat up you look skinny!' kind of way vs. a traditional overly polite server that we would had expected at an upscale restaurant. Very nice interior space. A good meal and a good night out but we'll keep moving on and try something else new.

We sat down and were told there were no substitutions or customizations for meals. Then we were given a shortened menu. We were never told any of this when we made reservations so we were disappointed. We spent 56.00 on a steak and were told my son that can’t eat cheese couldn’t swap Augratin potatoes for fries. Are you kidding me? If you are going to provide crappy service when a family of 5 is spending 250.00 on dinner you should atleast tell people that before they made reservations. My seafood risotto was served in a cereal bowl and would not have been enough to feed a 7 year old. The portion was tiny. Just very disappointing… especially when we thought it would be a treat for our family to splurge on a great Christmas Eve meal.
