Stopped in for a late brunch. We had the hot brown. It was delicious! The portions are big! Our server, Tiffany was a absolute sweetheart. She gave us the recipe for the hot browns they make there and was just all around great. The ambiance was unique as well. Definitely a place you want to check out when in the area.

Hands down the best Sunday brunch in Louisville. Nothing else is close.

Great food and service

Everything about The Brown Hotel was wonderful from the moment we walked in until we left. The hosts in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. The waitress Angie, was top notch and the brunch that my friend had was excellent; out of this world she said. I had the “Hot Brown,” which I can’t even put into words. It was wonderful. I even bought the skillets that they put the Hot Brown on from the gift shop in the hotel, and they give you the recipe. The Derby Pie was excellent also. You have to visit The Brown Hotel or your trip to Louisville will not be complete.

Our service was amazing and it was very nice being greated by multiple managers. Very clean food was fresh!

We always eating in this beautiful atmosphere. Our inlets was customized and delicious. Our burger was juicy, cooked perfectly and had a beautiful presentation.

Celebrating birthdays and my mother's bucket list to eat a Hot Brown at the Brown Hotel. The staff and maitre d' made us feel so special! Wonderful family celebration with great food and great service! Atmosphere was wonderful, as well. You will not be disappointed!

Lovely restaurant. Had lunch before the opera. Had the hot brown, which was the best I have ever had. Server was attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely dine there again.

We went for Sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience from the warm welcome we received from the host to the attentive wait staff. Glasses and coffee cups were always full. The shrimp salad was a knockout! All food was well prepared and at the proper temperature. It was a relaxing meal in an elegant atmosphere that reminded me of days past!

J Graham's was a fun place for brunch. A few things to know for Sunday brunch: Order a la carte not the buffet. If you have a chance to talk to the Chef, Arkan, do, he is really sweet.

We had decided to experience some of the things to do in Louisville, which is our home town. Eating an original hot brown at the Brown Hotel was on our list. It was delicious and service was excellent.

Service was outstanding and food was delicious. Ordered off the menu for brunch. Love the changes on the egg white frittata. Only complaint - $10 for a mimosa. Most places in town charge $1-$3 for a mimosa on the weekends. I was disappointed not to have one, but I won’t pay that much for a tiny mimosa.

Always enjoy getting dressed up and going out with special friends to J. Graham's where I know we will receive great service, great food, in an old world formal atmosphere. We've been going there for years and will continue. Alan and Shelba L.

The nicest dining experience I can remember. Every staff person who interacted with us was professional, courteous and so nice. The hot brown and hot brown pasta were delicious. Thanks for a lovely Sunday brunch!

Excellent service

J Grahams is the perfect place to have the Hot Brown - which is probably 90% of their orders!! The atmosphere is beautiful, although it was a little chilly on this snowy day. It felt like we were seated right under a blower. (Yes, we probably should have moved!) The waiter was as nice as he could be. The Hot Brown was a little more expensive then you would usually pay but I am sure that is because of the location. The cost is the same in all 3 of their restaurants! The menu had some very interesting dishes - just in case you had something else in mind for lunch. They close at 3:00 so this isn't a place to go for dinner. Enjoy - we sure did!!

A wonderful place to celebrate my mother's birthday. We had the Saturday lunch buffet. Service was fantastic and we felt free to sit and visit! Great place to make a memory

Just amazing. You get what you pay for, in this case. Every little dessert, muffin, and cookie looked great - there was no way you could choose them all. The other items on the buffet were excellent too.

We had Sunday brunch forgoing the hot brown, which as tourists, was the original reason we planned a visit there. The service and food were terrific.

However, the bathrooms smelled. They were clean but they were smelly ad well appointed. But had a gas/station “sewagey” smell. Having to use the restroom halfway through our meal, this ruined my appetite.

It’s an old place. They probably need to clean or change out their plumbing stacks.

We stayed at the Brown and went to Sunday brunch at this cafe. We loved it! The food was diverse and delicious. The setting is magical! Brunch absolutely felt like an event. The servers and hosts were professionals. I sensed that this restaurant is efficient and train their staff well. I felt like I had stepped back in time. While there, go up a flight and see the hotel lobby. Just beautiful!

We had a wonderful time and the food was outstanding. I would recommend to anyone and will
not hesitate to return there at some future time. Hope we can use this venue again next christmas.

Lovely Christmas meal!

This was our 4th year coming to Christmas brunch. We enjoy it so much we have made it a new tradition in our family!

Our Christmas brunch was positively perfect! The buffet selections were excellent, but the best part was the service—gracious and heartfelt. We realize the staff members were not with their families but they made us feel as if we were family. What a lovely Christmas morning we had. Thank you!

Our annual Girls Christmas Brunch was awesome; The staff, including Regina, was the best! I had requested a round table and we were given one in the preferred reserved section, because the manager asked if the party would allow us to seat there since their group was small. Christmas dinner with our family. Everything from the hostess, to waitresses to the manager was above expectations.

The food was excellent and our service was impeccable. This is the only place to eat a hot brown, only the best will do.

While the cocktails are very pricey, but everything else was absolutely perfect :)

We had reservations, were seated promptly. There was a good size crowd, and we have recently been in other restaurants where the delay was not acceptable, especially after having confirmed reservations.
The service was great; our waiter was both personable and professional.

The food was very good, the cold dishes were fresh and refilled promptly. The meats and entrees were kept hot.

Overall a very good experience, and we will be returning for future meals.

My mother’s 97th birthday! Service for 16 was exceptional. Staff and management went over and above. Special dessert sent and the chef even came out to congratulate her. A perfect brunch! Thank you

There’s a group of us that come there every year before Christmas and have lunch we valet park and it just makes the day so special for us then we go up and see your beautiful gingerbread. It’s a tradition that I hope we keep going for many years
