   Enjoyed salad, seafood, sides and desserts - all highest quality ingredients, preparation and presentation. They made our anniversary special with a festive place setting and free dessert.

   We had not been to J. Gilbert's in a while but wanted to try it again. From the moment we were greeted at the hostess stand to the time we left, we were extremely impressed. This just gives off an aura of being a really well run restaurant. The service and food was excellent and we can't wait to go back.

   The experience was great as we celebrated my birthday with a couple friends. JT, our waiter , was great and was very attentive to our table and enhanced our time tremendously. The food was excellent including the best onion rings ever. Overall, it was great.

   We sat at the bar and John was great. We tried the prime rib egg rolls. They were not good. The shrimp and grits were sooo good! My husband had the sea bass , which he loved . The menu has completely changed and it’s not good . We won’t be back . The music was loud . I like Frank Sinatra but not every other song . Bring back the old JGilberts !

   The waiter seemed annoyed with us right off the bat. It was my birthday dinner. First, the steak was way undercooked so I had to wait to start my meal while my fiance started his. The waiter only brought us one loaf of bread while we waited. Then we got the check and had to wait around because the free cake was added to our bill and the waiter didn’t come back. I love this place normally. Once the steak was fixed it was delicious but the crab cake that I out on top of my steak was cold.

   Have been going to J Gilbert's for over 10 years, never had a bad meal. Ryan our server was attentive, and meals were properly cooked. Always a pleasurable evening.

    We enjoyed the Prix Fixe dinner on Easter. We chose from 3 courses. It was delectable. The food was cooked to order and the wait staff impeccable! I highly recommend J. Gilbert’s for your meal enjoyment.
