   We sat at the bar for the first time, and it was just a wonderful experience. Both bartenders we had were fantastic, and the cocktails we had were just perfect. The food was amazing, just like always, that’s why we drive 50 mins to eat there. Keep on rocking 🤙🏻

   Dined on a busy Mother's day Service was excellent Ambiance supurb Food was very good + My steak was ordered rare presented medium Problem was quickly resolved with management bringing proper rare to table with apologies Would definitely dine again

   We’ve been coming to this restaurant since it first opened and it has been one of our favorites.This was the worst experience we have ever had here. We like to sit in the bar area. It was Mother’s Day and very busy. We tried to be understanding about that. At the end of our meal, we were left for at least 35 minutes without any service or an offering dessert, everyone else seemed to be getting good service.Finally, our server said the bill was in the glass. I paid it and did something I never do (I usually leave at least a 20% gratuity) I did not leave a tip.

   It was definitely a disappointment. I understand it was Mother's Day, and it felt like they were just not prepared for the ammount of diner's. Our server was very nice and polite, however it took 20 minutes for him to greet us and take our drink order, then another 15 for our drinks to arrive. Our Food came after an hours time, and it was just not very good. My wife's Filet was burned on the top and very hard, and my sides were cold. We then had to remind our waiter for our desserts since he forgot. I do not like to complain, and J Gilbert's is one of our favorite restaurants, so I am just going to chalk this up to a one off. Just was disappointing.

   While waiting for our table, we had drinks at the bar. John was so awesome that we didn't want to go to our table when ready. The reason we ended up going to our table was simply because the music was awful. It was like covers of top songs. The music in this place should be more Frank and Dean Martin type music not pop.(I'm not even old)We will be back for John and our waiter Ryan was awesome as well.

   JT was our server and he was phenomenal! We had the Aussie Rib rack and the porterhouse (special of the night) and everything was cooked to perfection. We will be back.

   Service was great. Food took over an hour to come to the table and when it did the creamed corn was cold. Martini was only filled to half the glass - but manager did fix when I brought to his attention which I appreciated. Overall, just okay. Usually have better experiences here.
